Nothing special, just a small family owned Mexican restaurant. They serve up basic Mexican food like tacos and burritos. Decent selection on seafood dishes and breakfast dishes. You get chips and salsa to start. Salsa is nothing special, although it is fresh. Portions are good. Not too small not too large. Prices are reasonable. Good flavor to the food. Service is OK. 3 of us ate for 28 bucks. Overall, not a bad place. I went here during breakfast/ lunch hours but it seems like they serve up beer and liquor during dinner hours. They also have a big screen TV that show the games. Looks like a local hang out joint.

Michalda and mango margarita

So I am an Elite yelper and I thought I would weigh in on the low stars this place had been receiving. First the service was awesome, maybe it was this particular server named Sandra (formerly from the now closed Acapulco) she is so friendly, attentive and gave us great recommendations. We started with the Michalda with Victoria beer and a mango margarita. The Michalda was great and the margarita was okay. Next we had Aguachilies Camarones which was fresh and very spicy. We finished with the Molcajete which came with 3 shrimp, grilled chicken, carne, fresh cheese and nopals (cactus). If was pretty good and all was freshly made. I suggest you all give it a try and form your own opinion. My one suggestion, go when Sandra is there (Friday-Sunday) for the best experience.

Adobada Burrito was terrible, meat was not cooked all!! For the price of $20 I'd expect for the meat to at least be cooked all the way.

The Woodshed ended up being an awesome space for it and we couldn't recommend it enough. First off, Anndrea was a pleasure to work with. She toured the venue with us, answering all of our questions the day of and afterwards. She was quick to respond and very friendly throughout the entire time. Shoutout to Tiffany as well, who was able to help us out on the day of the event, and helped to bar tend. The venue itself is also such a fun space, with fun accents, such as the live plant wall and the fun tap handles. We created a Spotify playlist that we were able to play using the venue speakers, and we even used the projector screen that they had to play our Nintendo Switch games during the welcome party. Street parking was plentiful and our guests ended up loving the venue as well. We would highly recommend the Woodshed for anyone looking for a fun space to host a gathering or party!

Had a great time bowling here and food was top notch…read more We didn't reserve lanes but was able to sneak in late afternoon on a Saturday. Lanes were well maintained and we used house shoes and balls. Only strange thing was so many balls are just stored under the ball holders by the lane versus behind the lanes. However many were double drilled for different sized fingers. Space is a little tight when both sides of the lane is being used so you do have to squeeze by each other a lot between the two areas. Table is kinda small. There is more space behind the lanes as well with some extra surfaces to hold drinks and food. Food was epic - literally best I've had at any bowling alley. We ordered the buffalo chicken quesadillas and the appetizer platter. Everything on the platter was tasty especially the chicken. Huge menu, good portions. Drinks were nice and cold. It was a bit hard to snag our server at times but he was very attentive when we did catch him.

The vibe is really fun and energetic, with good music and movies playing while you bowl which makes the experience even better. The bowling lanes are really nice and well-kept, and at around $13.99 per person per round (not including shoe rental), it felt like an okay deal for a group activity. A bit too expensive for me. They also have an arcade, which adds another layer of fun beyond just bowling, so you can switch things up throughout the night. There's also a bar on-site where we grabbed some beers, which made it feel more like a full night-out spot rather than just an activity. I did not have the food but they have options in the case you want to order some. Everything felt clean and well-maintained, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Parking is another big plus there's a large lot and it's completely free, so you don't have to stress about finding a spot or paying extra. Cons: It can get pretty busy depending on the time and day, especially with bigger groups coming in, so there might be a wait for lanes during peak hours. Price is more expensive than what I'd pay typically. Verdict: If you're looking for a fun group activity with a mix of bowling, arcade games, and drinks, this is a good spot to check out. It's clean, well-run, and has a really good vibe but the price tag is my only caveat.

Comes with chairs and tables and the staff that help set it up and take down. They have some additional things you can do as well like have the arch or lawn games, but what is the best part of it all is that you can really make you event what you want it to be. Our wedding came out PERFECT and there wasn't one guest that didn't RAVE about how beautiful the venue was, ceremony was, the flow and layout of the venue, the features, and more. Everything is in one place, and the flow is so easy to navigate yet you have the ability to make different options of choices. Truly a make it your own! Thank you especially to Hanna, Becca, and John for making the day absolutely PERFECT and making us really feel like every decision we made was ours. I wish I could be at the venue every single day.

My experience with Home Wedding Sites as a venue matching service has been pretty decent…read more Communications with the owner have been very pleasant, professional, courteous, and friendly even though there were a number of delays in response. But overall they have some pretty decent properties listed. My only criticisms is that I wish their profile information for the property was a bit more specific especially detail need to know set ups for events and whatnot. Basically profiles just have a limited number of pictures and general location and general cost, and maybe some house stats (qty rooms/bathrooms etc). It would be nice if more information was provided and more pictures, things like where are cars parked, and is this a day of place, does it have overnight accommodations, maybe even layouts of the event areas that are available for use, any rules for the property, whether the owners live on site or not....is there storage, where can the caterers cook? That sort of thing. At the least if the information was provided up front those planning would be able to ascertain whether a property is right for them before going through the arduous process with the owners to set up an appointment to tour the location. In the 3 months of communicating with the office we viewed about 20 ish of their listed properties, and decided we were interested in pursuing three of them after some Google satellite image searches and look at what information was provided. It took 3 months, and we were only able to get a tour with one property which ultimately ended up being a shared property with the owners and only a day of location. Which is ok for us in a pinch but for the area and cost would not have really that worth it....the other ended up cancelling their contracts with HWS or something to that effect. But meeting with the owner of HWS was blast, she's very sweet and helpful and it is a free service for the bridegroom. I'm still maintaining contact with HWS in hopes a new property that better suits us pops up that's better than our top pick right now which is just located in an inconvenient area to overnight accommodations but the property is amazing. But as far as Home Wedding Sites goes, it worth connecting with them. They have properties of all budgets, to each his own terms, some daily, some weekly, some even monthly, some overnight, some day of, etc etc...but all the properties are nicer than your average wedding venues, more homey, better than many of the vacation rentals I've seen, some more palatial, others more convenient. There was another similar business who lists wedding venue estates that had a couple of estates, one I think was called Bali estate, another Emma estate, but that company was a nightmare to communicate with, so I'm hoping those awesome properties begin to work with HWS because its a better service in my opinion,
