The mayo-based sauce was broken and heavy, and the walnuts lacked that signature candied crunch--they felt a bit soft. ​Fried Shrimp: These were standard, though again, the breading was very thick. They were okay, but nothing you couldn't get from the frozen aisle at a grocery store. ​Verdict ​The portions are generous, but the quality just isn't there. Everything felt a bit too heavy and oily. As soon as we looked over the menu, my mouth was already watering. We ordered the aguachiles verdes, the molcajete supreme, and I added a side of fries. When I say the food came out fast, I mean FAST, especially for food this fresh. The wait staff was attentive, friendly, and checked in just enough without being overbearing. The aguachile was honestly one of the best I've had. The green sauce was incredibly flavorful, perfectly balanced, and everything tasted fresh and vibrant. The molcajete supreme did not disappoint. The sauce was rich and delicious, and the portion of carne and shrimp was generous and very satisfying. You can tell care goes into the food here.
