If you are ever having a bad day, I highly recommend this place. It's AMAZING. My husband and I rarely go out to eat but this place was perfect!!! The atmosphere is sooooo fun!!! The mariachi band was hilarious and the crowd was even funnier! Everyone is so nice!! The servers are SO FAST. They immediately bring the food out, they are so clean and literally clean up the plates off the table in a quiet and fast manner. They deserve every tip, they're awesome. My hubby and I ordered two drink mixes, delicious! Also, we had 2 shrimp plates and fish tacos.... mouth watering just thinking about it!! We were so happy we didn't even think about taking pictures, which is unusual for us! Good food, great prices, but DAMN horrible tequila. Beware the cheap margaritas that they offer with their dinner for two specials. They may taste great, but DAMN do they pack a nasty headache afterwards. That is a sign of a bad tequila. Best ceviche I have had!! I honestly only come for the ceviche and a beer /or michealada . Great combo for hangovers The actual Mexican food to me isn't good at all. When u get the plate u can tell the beans and rice aren't fresh and just came out the microwave you'll see the crusty edges on the plate.. Went in for drinks and to enjoy the music on a Saturday night. They had a small conjunto Norteno that seemed to only play slow romantic music, we asked the waitress if the group took requests and she said yes at $20 a song... for a 4 man group???? The server we got was drunk!!!! She almost fell. She had slurred speech , took her 15 min to come to our table then 10 min to ring us our drinks. We were they 1 1/2 hour in total and most of it was waiting for food and refills. But on the bright side she was very out of it and only charged is half our check. Thanks girl! read more

Wanted to visit a new Mexican Marisco place nearby and stubbled upon this place. From the outside it doesn't look appealing but once inside the atmosphere is authentic, welcoming, and social. Great menu options to pick from to satisfy your fancy. The day I was here there was a two man band playing traditional Mexican music at request, another great touch. I opted for the sopa de albóndigas de camarón ( a spin on meatball soup made from shrimp ). I thought at first the soup broth base would be over acidic from the tomato but, was surprised to find a nice balance to the broth. The soup shrimpballs were very appetizing. If I could give this restaurant a one star I would they have you worst service refuse to speak English and gave out cold food.the waiter even had an attitude. Disappointed... Waitress kept touching her hair and then handling the silverware (gross)... My daughter ordered a bowl of menudo... As she was eating she found shrimp in her menudo.. Dad was pretty upset, our daughter is allergic to shrimp... Obviously cross contamination goes on in that kitchen... Will never go back there. Went yesterday for the first time with my boyfriend and we both loved the place. Food wise we ordered 3 plates the first one was the mango ceviche in green salsa And I was in love with it super spicy but addicting I couldn't stop eating it even thought my mouth was on fire. Second plate was the camarones zarandeados super delicious not spicy at all but it had a very good taste and our last plate was the camarones cucarachos which are peeling shrimp in a mangy sauce a bit salty but still good. My bf ordered a bucket of beers and I ordered a michelada it wasn't the best I've ever tasted but still pretty good and a cantarito which was amazing it actually had actual flavor to it and not just plain tequila like in most places I've tried them. The banda was super entertaining and the service was good the waitress came around a few time during the time we were there and was good at recommending items. So pretty much to sum it all up we will definitely be going back even though it's pretty far from where we live. read more

Over priced food & drinks for the quality of the food. For two people, we spent $100 on two caldos & five micheladas. Caldos weren't even that great we had to add a bunch of stuff into it to taste good. They also had a live band which was great & all, except for the part that I had to yell into someone's ear to continue a conversation. I'm all for live entertainment & enjoy the ambiance of eating while listening to good music but the music was too loud for anyone to hold a conversation. I used to think this place was the place to go. Not anymore. My friend ordered a molcajete that was supposed to have chorizo in it. It wasn't there. I believe he paid $25 for this. I ordered a tostada mixta, which used to be my favorite from this place. ..menu price said $5.99. It was jacked up to $8.99 because they gave it to me with a plate of rice, beans and small salad. Didn't ask for that. The kicker of the evening. I ordered a campechana to go. This was, what seemed to be in a 16 ounce plastic cup. How much was it? $17.99!!!!! Are you kidding me? ?? My wife, son and I went and got seated right away, the server brought our drinks, and literally, sat there for 20-25 minutes and she never came back to take our order. well.. went there n tho there is pretty waitresses, the service was bad. I asked for nachos with just chicken and cheese and they brings me chicken and cheese with bell peppers and tomato. It tasted very bland but it wasnt what i ordered for my 5 year old. When i pointed out the mistake i was told thats the ways it is. So i ordered a taquito plate with rice and beans plain. I got a plate half with salad and a little of rice and beans and the plate had been nuked. I couldnt even hold it in my hand and my boy couldnt eat any of it cuz it burned. 16 min it took for him to get his plate! I was eager to get out of there.
