I came to Mark IV Hair Design because I really needed a hair makeover. I have naturally curly/wavy hair and it gets frizzy. I wanted an effortless and easy look that wouldn't require much to get ready in the morning. I brought a picture of what I imagined my hair could look like and Krista made my hair way better than the picture. She listened to what I wanted, asked questions, and described each step of the process. I got a balayage, trim, and keratin treatment. The balayage looks so soft and natural with my hair. The way she trimmed it makes it look way healthier and fuller. The keratin treatment has completely smoothed and straightened my hair. It looks great. This was my first visit at this salon, my appointment was with Donna. I hadn't had my hair cut in a long time and after she worked her magic I'll definitely be returning. She checked in with me throughout the cut to make sure I was getting what I had in mind (I brought a picture). She gave me styling tips and recommended products without pushing for me to buy anything. I am very happy with how my hair turned out. Donna is great and the staff were all really friendly. I love this Salon, and the Stylist are all amazing. A family of knowledgeable and skillful women runs this Salon. The stylists communicate all services with their clients, so you are never surprised with extra charges at the end of your visit. I've been going here for two years and feel like part of the family. It's also great to have a stylist that you can depend on. If you have ever experienced seeing a regular stylist at a salon only to show up one day and they no longer work there... Mark IV is just beyond wonderful, I have been going there for years and couldn't see myself going anywhere else ever again. The atmosphere is just so warm and welcoming. You are treated as a person, rather than just another person on the schedule. Great people with great conversation always and people you are able to actually build meaningful relationships with. Donna was my stylist and she was fast, efficient and really charming!!! She was the stabilizer of the two of us , when I wanted to go pretty short! She figured out the most flattering style and executed it flawlessly! I felt renewed with my sassy new haircut and style! It's a beautiful family run salon. I have visited 5 times now and great experience every single time. Donna is a wonderful stylist. She listens and understands individual styles and needs very well. My son and I had gone together one time and they treated him so nicely. I was blown away that they had kept his book for over 2 months which he had forgotten there, and when I checked in, they had a reminder set in to give it back to me. Very impressive!! read more

I go here for stylist, Lisa. Lisa is a great stylist, she always cuts my hair exactly like I want. I go to a salon to relax and not have a stylist talk non stop. Lisa will talk as much or as little as I want. which is great. I gave a 4 star because this Salon can be extremely noisy. They have a couple employees that talk very loud back and forth while customers are present. It's hard to relax when this happens.The Salon is very pretty. read more

As always, I walked out of the salon extremely happy. Brenda is always very honest and never cuts my hair the way she feels it should be cut.
