Unfortunately, the doc wasn't there but one of the other dental techs was there. Let's call her K. Unreal. I'm so many ways. If how K operated is any indication of how Dr. C is.....which I know it is because I have had family come here....then this place is a no brainer to go to for dental work. I want to say that I addressed my hesitations regarding dental work....specifically, a contraption called...the Cavitron. For those who don't know, the Cavitron version 1 alpha was designed specifically for inducing unbearable and unimaginable pain for which you will be permanently scared for the rest of your life. So much so...even hearing the word Cavitron takes you back to the seat and reliving the trauma. I told K my experience and she reassured me that the old model is bad, she's going to use the newer model but will do some fine tuning work manually so as not to take me back to a bad place. She was amazing. I had to tell K at the end of my session how masterful she was and also that she provided me with much closure from my past. K spoke highly of the dentist as well as what they do there. Don't believe me? Call and try to make a new patient appointment. I had to wait 6 months.....there is a reason for that. This place is top notch. Rarely does it happen where I have one experience completely dispel my fear as well as define an establishment based on limited exposure. This is that place. I just know it. What a amazing experience. I made my 6 month follow up before leaving and I intend to go. Again, if you want a fantastic experience and a place that knows what they are doing for dental work and are not afraid to go above and beyond to make it a good experience for you....this is the place. I have heard awful stories of scammer dentists and unnecessary procedures etc and this office is the polar opposite of that. Just good people doing good work. Nevertheless the service and care is exceptionally great. The office is always clean, staff is great to work with and friendly. Most recently, I called after hours and left a voicemail for a callback to schedule a cleaning. The next day doctor Smith himself returned my call and scheduled my appointment for the following week! I was shocked! He explained they are short handed due to the holidays so he goes in on Fridays (when they're closed) to help catch up! I love that he rolls up his sleeves and does all the work in his business wherever it needs to be done. I will also say that I've been going here for about 12 years and as infrequently as I go, again 2 yrs since my last visit , he sure does have a good memory or takes good notes on patients when they visit. He remembered I have a teenage son and 2 small daughters, and we chatted about his 3 boys and how different parenting teens and young adults is in today's day and age. A couple of years ago, when I inquired about whitening after my first visit in 3 years and having back to back babies, cause pregnancy really took a toll on my teeth, he said it's cheaper and easier to just do the whitening strips at home, and I appreciated that especially since at the time I had two under 2 in diapers and daycare. He's a family man and appreciates his patients for who they are and where they're at in life. 10/10 would recommend Dr. Smith for your dental care and needs.

They worked with me to take care of me, assess my situation and create a plan to take care of it. Now, 5 years later I have continued to go there, with insurance woohoo, and they work with my crazy schedule since I travel for work. The receptionists are thoughtful, always give me options, and insure I'm taken care of. I haven't had a dental assistant I haven't enjoyed and both Dentists are in the loop and take great care of me. I love that they tell me what they are doing so that I understand the process for new restoration. The part that shocks me the most, is no matter how much time has passed or what dental assistant I have, they seem to know about me and it just shows a genuine level of care. Going to the dentist can be expensive, painful in scheduling, and overall just not the best experience but not here. I HIGHLY recommend this office. When I called, I was told that part of the bill was because my insurance did not cover the service. I have had the same insurance for four years, yet the office could not clearly explain when they contacted my insurance or why I was only now being charged. I was also told that approximately $150 was a missed-appointment fee. I explained that I was in the hospital and unable to call, and I had not confirmed the appointment. I asked whether they could waive the fee because of the circumstances, but they refused. They also brought up three previous appointments that I had canceled, even though I had called to cancel those because I was sick. I have been a patient here for two years, and I expected more understanding, transparency, and consideration. Unfortunately, after this experience, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this office.
