Our experience with Mark Mazda was very positive, despite some challenges. We ordered a vehicle from Edgar Olivera (good and kind salesperson) and all was good. There were some delays in the shipping that caused some issues. Adam Struse the General Sales Manager had to get involved and both Edgar and Adam did everything they could to appease our challenges including some concessions (oil changes etc). There was a point where I was very difficult to deal with and both Adam and Edgar completely kept their cool and handled me perfectly. They also resolved the issue to our satisfaction. Worst customer service from the time I bought my car to the time I sold them my car. They quoted me a price to sell my car and when I brought my car to sell them they changed the amount. They steal your money!!!! Never buy a car from them ever! If you do they will lie to you and steal your money! They call you names and refused to talk to us when we are customers! Who does that? After a self inspection of the car I fixed minor issues like missing fasteners (skid pan bolts) , convertible tension belts Manufacturer recalls. purchased my vehicle in December of 2023, I have purchased vehicles from several different dealerships in my life. This by far is the worst experience I have ever had. After they had my money they treated me like trash. When I went to pick up the vehicle after purchasing it they gave me the wrong registration for the vehicle. I did not notice for a couple of weeks until a friend pointed it out. I am from Tucson, when I called they expected me to drive up to them for them to fix it. I had to escalate to a manager to get them to email me the registration. The bed of the truck is set up for gooseneck and fifth wheel towing but has some caps for the holes missing. The gentleman who sold me the truck said he would get them replaced for me and never did. They also never gave me any paperwork for the purchase of the vehicle. I called and spoke to a manager three times, all saying they would email it to me. They never did. I had to drive to Scottsdale and speak to a manager to finally get my paperwork after months of lies. While I was there complaining about my experience so far I requested a higher up manager call me back (they were unavailable then) so I could give my grievances. I never got a call. It was also at this time that I found out they lied to me when I purchased the car. They told me they were removing the charge for the LoJack they put in the vehicle. What they actually did was remove the LoJack altogether. Now only eight months after spending over $70,000 on a vehicle I have to replace my tires because they lied about the condition of the tires when they sold it to me. I have been nothing but dismissed. Bad business, do not buy from here. They will take your money and act like you don't exist after. read more

Mark Mazda in Scottsdale, I had a 7:30 AM appointment for an oil change and finally left at 9:00 AM. With all the specialized equipment that they have there it should not have taken that long to do an oil change. Also, I was informed that my air filter and cabin filter needed replacement. I was quoted $39.99 for the engine air filter and $13.99 went for "labor service" and $26.00 for the cost of the filter. Also the tire pressure was set by the "technician" to 39 PSI when the pressure should have only been set to 34 PSI. When they sent the video for me to watch the "mechanic" was talking so fast I thought he was an auctioneer he was incomprehensible, Slow the F down it's not a race. Then the ac was cranked to low. Why? I had it set to 71 deg. Total cost was $162.82. I learned my lesson for the simple fixes buy your parts from AMAZON or K&N. In conclusion my vehicle sounds strange there is a humming that was not there prior to me taking it in for "service". Im going somewhere else next time. read more

I stopped here because I was ready to shop for a new car. I had previously seen some of their inventory online but didn't have the guts to request any information. I came here on a Saturday early afternoon and it was fairly busy. First I drove around the lot looking at the vehicles and finally parked and went inside. As soon as I did, a lady greeted me and asked me how she could help and if I wanted her to talk to a sales person, I said yes and shortly after someone was assisting me. Juan Reyes was my sales consultant and I think he did a great job at hearing what I was looking for and needed but also explaining other options I had. As a first time car buyer, this was very helpful. To say the least, I ended up with a better car than what I had expected for a great deal. I also want to mention that Kevin Veliz, the finance manager, was very thorough in explaining exactly what I was getting myself into, payment options, plan options, rates etc. Towards the end, they provided all the documents in a fancy flash drive which I thought was cool. Lastly, I had the keys, I took my photos, and Juan made sure I didn't leave the lot with ANY questions. He spent his time explaining everything about my brand new car so that I can enjoy all its features. We were set to test drive and buy the 2019 white Ford Explorer XLT. Price and Financing done. After we test drove the vehicle. I noticed damage to the right fender and paint cracks on the hood. Carfax said no damage. Probably $1500 or so. I asked Dave what they could do about. He said, they couldn't do anything and evidently the deal was over. I'm the owner of two Mazdas (Miata and CX-5). Both are pretty new, so nothing's needed to be fixed, but I have been in for the basic oil change, 5,000-mile service stuff and I'm so delighted I had to write a review. Our last experience with Chapman Mazda wasn't stellar, so I'm thrilled to have found a better option. Believe it or not, my experience with Mark Mazda is absolutely on par with my experience with Lexus dealerships. Of course, the facility is new, which helps, but every step of the service process --from online booking to the appointment itself--is seamless and outstanding. I don't usually call out individuals, but I was so impressed with Jorge (I think he handled my car the last time too). He was very warm, welcoming and hospitable, which is super-nice when you're doing a "chore" like this. But he went above and beyond...I'd forgotten I had a card for repeat customers that had been stamped on my first visit, but he asked about that so I was able to get credit for this visit. Small thing? Yes, but small things win customer loyalty. This is now my "regular" Mazda dealership, so there you have it. read more

I'm giving this place 2 stars instead of 1 because the people were very friendly. Unfortunately, the way they conduct business is not the best. I was looking for a truck with certain specifics within a price range. I was able to find and test drive the truck I had been looking for, but I had to make sure it was within budget. Once we got back, they took my vehicle to check the trade in value. Everyone was very friendly and cordial, and when they came back with the trade in value and the out the door price, that's when the negotiation really started to happen. After a while of back and forth, we came to an agreement on the out the door price, and it was a price I was happy and comfortable with. As we were in the middle of doing paperwork, the salesman stands up and leaves for a few minutes. He then comes back and tells me the car has already been sold. I have been here for about 3 to 4 hours at this point, so of course I'm not happy, but I kept that to myself. I've been buying cars for 25 years and every time I've been interested in a vehicle, they take it up front and take the keys so that way no one else can purchase it while someone is in the process of negotiating it. The car was on a lot a few blocks away, which is not uncommon and dealerships have always had someone bring the vehicle up front to their lot whenever I start negotiating or indicating I'm interested. This time, I wasn't paying attention and I should have noticed that they hadn't brought the vehicle up when they were doing the appraisal and we were negotiating. So I do put part of the blame on me for not holding them accountable. In the end, the salesman were nice, but I'm not looking for a friend, I was looking to do business, and they fell short. I run a business in finance, and i often give recommendations for referrals to businesses. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place to my clients from a business aspect. If they can sell a vehicle that you are in the process of doing paperwork on to buy that same vehicle, then who knows what other mistakes they can make and take up your time. read more

I am giving them one star because it has been 4 weeks and they still have not completed our transaction of my car purchase. Eddie Garcia their sales guy promised me the roof rack would be changed out. When we went to sign the paperwork they tried to add a charge of 200$ for a 15 min project that I would have done myself but I still had stiches from surgery. We shook hands Eddy !!! You promised. But what I was really ticked about was the battery. I saw it on the lot with a triple A replacement. I asked for it to be changed out for a new one.. I asked again was this done, they said yes no problem.. Should have never drove off without double checking. A few days later the car wouldn't turn over.. They NEVER DID IT!! I was shocked.
