Bad food, bad service. We were 1 of 3 tables & had to refill our own drinks bc server was no where to be found. Food was way overpriced.

For what it is (a restaurant in a grocery store) the place exceeds beyond expectations. Great value and great food!

Aldi consistently delivers the most affordable and fresh produce. Their fresh fruit, veggies, and…read moreselection of meats can't be beat at the price. I usually shop at Aldi after going to the gym in Fitchburg as it's very close to everything. The service is very quick and im in and out very quickly. Overall, solid spot.

I really like the recent changes upgrading and expanding the interior [I shop at Fitchburg site near Target] and adding new products. Since COVID I have been ordering my grocs delivery. I like it pretty well but it really irks me when my go-to items [like cottage cheese or my mandarin oranges] aren't available. It has been about 2 mos since I've gotten cottage cheese @ Aldi's. As a "vulnerable shopper" who at the moment is unable to drive I really need to get all my products in one place. Aldi's falls way too short on that. E.g. I hate their options for pet foods [so does my kitty]. So sometimes I have to shop at another store, which means I have to pick up at least $35 of products from the other store to get free delivery when all I want of what they offer is $15-$20 worth. And the fill-in products to make up that $35 are ALWAYS substantially more expensive than Aldi's. After shopping almost exclusively at Aldi's for the past 2-3 years I must say after reading the very negative reviews included here...did they go to the same store I do? Cuz I'm so happy with it I have made it my #1 go-to store. I save between $20-$50 a week with Aldi's prices. And that's over Woodman's (Madison) prices [the $20 is over Woodman's; $50 is over HyVee]. When I was able to drive I'd always go to Aldi's 1st & then pick up the rest of what I needed at surrounding stores. All in all I save between $100-$150/month over Woodman's. And I simply can't stand those gigantic stores any more. So much stuff, so little I would buy. And having all that extra stuff means the giant stores have to charge more than Aldi's because of their overhead. In all the time I've shopped at Aldi's I've never had a problem with service. Indeed many clerks have gone out of their way on my behalf, especially but not only when I show up with my walker. Whereas in the giant stores I get big sighs implying, like...really??

The parking…read moregarage was full, so we had to park on the street--which should've been our first clue to turn around, but we didn't. Inside, it was shoulder-to-shoulder with shoppers. That said, we managed to grab a few items we wanted, and the checkout line moved surprisingly fast. We picked up the Pad See Ew, Paneer Masala with Rice, and a couple of ice creams. Everything we tried was tasty, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good the frozen Pad See Ew was. The portion size is on the smaller side, but at $4-5, it's a solid value. Note to self: avoid Trader Joe's on weekends; weekday trips are much better.

Trader Joe's is a national grocery chain that still manages to feel like a neighborhood store. Most…read moreproducts are their own private label, and you'll find a strong selection of organic produce, vegan options, and even fresh flowers and succulents right at the entrance. The back of the store has a nice beer and wine section--think Whole Foods-style offerings but at lower prices. For example, a six-pack of beer for just $4.99 isn't the best tasting, but at that price, it's hard to complain. Here's my biggest tip: avoid this store on weekends. I made the mistake of visiting on a Sunday around noon, and it was chaos. The underground parking garage holds maybe 20 cars, and the line to get in stretched onto the street. I ended up parking on the street in the neighborhood two blocks away, which wasn't terrible, but once inside, it was a different story. Every register line had 20-30 people, stretching all the way to the back of the store. Overall, Trader Joe's offers great prices and unique finds, but unless you enjoy battling crowds, I'd recommend going on a weekday.

Latino grocery. Notable for a big deli case with tons of meats and cheeses. Large selection of beans, rice, spices, tortillas, Jarritos and chips and such. Small produce area but everything they had was really fresh and not bruised. Small area of household cleaning items. Prices seemed quite good. Staff were friendly and all has masks on correctly when I was there and there was lots of cleaning going on. Several international phones available for calls. Small parking lot but also had very close street parking. Seems like a great addition to the neighborhood!
