First time coming here since I was in a rush to get a dress cleaned before an event and the spots on my dress wouldn't come out. Dropped off by 10am and my dress was ready for pick up by the time I passed by at 4pm. For this particular double layer chiffon/poly dress, $18 for this quick turn around seems reasonable to me! The staff were knowledgeable and very friendly! I did not feel like I was pressured into anything and they did give me very reasonable expectations if the spotting was going to be a little more difficult to come out. Highly recommend in a pinch, but will look to come again in the future! read more

No good! I took a nice puffer jacket to be cleaned, and when I picked it up the first time, I noticed additional stains. I left it there again to be cleaned, and when I went back to pick it up, they said they couldn't remove the stains and tried to blame me, saying they were the initial stains. They didn't try to reimburse us or fix the problem. They were super rude and unprofessional. Very unfortunate, the jacket was a gift. read more

Hopeful they could help me, I asked if they had a safety pin I could buy to prevent any further tearing, when the woman said she could sow it rather then taking a risk of a safety pin poking her. I have been here before, but i wont be coming back. Dropped off clothes day before and asked specifically to have all my buttons ups dry cleaned. Came to pickup today tried to use there coupon for $10 off dry cleaning. Was told she only could give me $5 off because my shirts were laundered. I didn't ask for my shirts to be laundered. The least that should have been done was honor the coupon as it was your mistake. $5 lost you a customer. I pass pleats and willies dry cleaning on the way over. I will no longer be recommending your business or returning. read more

And the hours of operation & 24-hour drop off are a great benefit, not to mention the same day service! The service was quick and courteous. Usually I'm used to slow service and ineffective workers, but this place is different. I dropped off my suits at around 9:45. They were quick to attend me and communicated effectively. They got my, tough to spell, name correct on the first try. I was in and out of there in five minutes. I came back to pick up my suits at 6:45. They promptly went to get my suits and they were clean. The suits were still warm even in the cold winter night. They charged a fair rate, and I was on my way, again in under 5 minutes. The only knock I have on their service was that the Credit Card machine was a little old. This could potentially harm them for not having a card chip reader, but it still picked up my new card. All in all this is a great dry cleaning place. I have no idea how this place has 4.5 stars. Their customer service is not good. They asked for my last name and I stated that this was my first time there (thinking they were trying to look up an account) and the lady repeated again, "last name?". I was then handed a receipt after I paid without any further explanation. The receipt stated that the promise date for pick up was the following day, no time listed. I then went back at 10 am the next day and they stated it wouldn't be ready until 4. I wish the lady would have explained this to me the prior day. I've been coming to Marketplace Cleaners for a few years now. Before today, service had always been good, same day cleaning was quick, and prices were fair. However, today I took in a dress to be cleaned and I got it back with more damage then it went in with. It already had a snag and small hole at the bottom, but I got it back with even more snags on the left side of the dress. Truly disappointed, I went back in to see if they could somehow fix it or offer a solution. They denied causing the damage and said it was dropped off that way. I know it wasn't perfect when I dropped it off, but the extra snags were definitely not there when it left my hands. I just wanted them to try and fix the bunching that the new snags caused. Perhaps iron it to help smooth the bunching? I didn't expect anything more, but they wouldn't even attempt to fix it. Instead, I was rudely turned away to deal with it on my own. I spent $90 today, which is a typical amount I spend there very often. I WILL NOT BE BACK. They've lost a customer and I will be sure to let everyone know my experience so they don't make the same mistake. They made me pay for them to clean something and the stain did not come out. I was extremely disappointed by the poor customer service and unfriendly attitude. They do not stand by their work. If a service cannot be done it is their responsibility to make a professional judgment and inform the customer of that fact before charging. Happy to find a quality dry cleaner in my area. Friendly and fast (next day) service. My suit had a lot of dirt and food and/or makeup marks on it and they were able to find/clean everything. Their attention to detail seems to be above normal, including how they bagged my suit, which included a plastic button holder type of device to ensure the jacket stayed folded properly. Not a good experience here. We are new to the area so I looked up our options for dry cleaning and found Marketplace cleaners. They had a good website along with printable coupons so I thought u would give it a try. I print up the coupons and go drop off the items. The lady checking me in was unpleasant, almost annoyed at my couple of questions. I handed her the coupon and she said no I didn't spend enough money (only about $16) to use the coupon. So I go back today to pick up my items and the rural comes to $29 so I inquire about that the lady had told me when I dropped off the items. They then tell me no that coupon isn't good for laundered shirts only the dry cleaning, which the lady did not explain to me at all when I dropped my items off. Everyone was rude today, bad customer service. I will not be back. read more

Finally I called Marketplace Cleaners and they were still open over the weekend after Thanksgiving. I was able to drop off my laundry and pick it up Friday Afternoon. Ruin my class a Uniform shirt. Brought in a new shirt to have it press and ended up with off center creases by more then five inches to the left. I bought the shirt back and they told me they were sorry and that they would fix it. I picked up my shirt today and now it has four creases in the back and double creases It looks terrible. Our clothes come back looking good, the service is fast and they have a nice before hours drop off option. The owner is always very pleasant and accommodating.
