You are able to order delivery, carry-out, or eat-in at this location! They've got a few tables inside for you to eat your grub w/ tvs and all. Normal working staff - friendly and helpful. I have heard some negative reviews on their pizza because of the cheese to dough ratio. I have been a loyal customer the Buffalo Rd location but tonight's meal was not good at all! The garlic parm wings had absolutely no flavor and the pizza we ordered was terrible! All the cheese was lumped in the middle, it all fell off when we picked up a slice. we asked for onions on half and we counted maybe, maybe 5 pieces of onion! My family has ordered from Marks for over 15 years, but recently we have only received negative service. We order lots of pizza and wings for our whole extended family to celebrate the night before my cousins wedding. They got the order completely wrong so we called and we're blown away about how rude they were. We told them our order was wrong and the man over the phone said in an extremely rude tone "Well what do you want us to do about it" as if it was our fault our order was wrong. Even with the overplayed jingle, Marks is a decent chain for pizza. Good deal with two topping large and medium cheese, though price had crept up over the years. Can be hit or miss depending on who prepares, sometimes too much cheese or greasy, or can skimp on toppings. Good portion sizes and dough is thicker. Ordering process also fairly quick and pizza usually ready in about 20 minutes if not too busy. Location also has decent seating area (obviously closed as time of writing), nice upgrade from past takeout only location in WinJeff plaza. Parking lot is good sized, though has some tight near-unusable spaces. read more

Needed a quick lunch and this new Marks was close. Called in a half Philly steak sub for pick up. While waiting for the sub, I paid and I got a slice of supreme pizza to eat. Slice was ok. Toppings were well placed. I just can't figure why there is no flavor. I think they forgot the garlic because the sauce was there. But the pizza is just an "eh". Now I am waiting for the hot steak. 20 minutes later I realize that I was forgotten about because eventually I was asked what I am here for. I said half of hot steak with hot peppers and onions. There it was, just sitting on the rack. I sat down and opened the rappings to find the worst looking steak sub in my life. Small isn't the word but could be forgiven if it was shaved steak as the menu said. Looked and tasted like a cheap "steak ums". Plus it was light on the meat and peppers. I've got to say, strangely enough, that the garden salad at Marks has to be one of the best salads of any take out place in town. Yes, I recognize that it's a pizza joint and you may not have high expectations for your sides but their salad is always fresh, never skimpy and is consistently good. The croutons are obviously homemade and extremely tasty. I pretty much never order a pizza there without getting a salad. Oh yes, the pizza (large, thin crust pepperoni) was delicious too. Next time I think I will take advantage of their option to customize the cooking instructions and ask for a more well done pizza which may make the crust nice and crispy but the pizza was delicious anyway. OK, so for lunch, I eat here way more than I care to admit. I think the staff knows my lovely face better than my friends. First, I am a big fan of the new location. Plenty of seating, along with a big flat screen usually showing ESPN's Sportscenter during the lunch hour. The pizza is a-ok. Neither extraordinary nor bad. The slices are large (generally larger than other pizza joints) and the dough is somewhat thick. For about ~$3, you can get a great slice of peperoni pizza. For less than $4, you can get a specialty slice (i.e., meatlovers, supreme). All in, it's just a regular pizza joint with average pizza (and for most of us who love pizza, average is just fine). If you need a slice, you could do much much worse. read more

Went to Mark's for lunch. Ordered a slice and a cup of water. They said they don't give out water - you have to buy overpriced bottled water. After some discussion they gave me a cup and told me to take it to the bathroom sink to fill. I have never seen such bad customer service. And the pizza is dripping with fat, definitely nothing special. I have had better at Pizza Hut. And when ordering pizza (which we will never do again) they skimp on cheese and sauce, leaving a big area around the edge with nothing on it. read more

While I'm not a huge fan of Mark's Pizzeria (& I really dislike their "treat you like a family" jingle), they are a solid alternative to Dominos, Papa John, Pizza Hut and the local Pontillo's Pizza. Nothing great here, but the pizza is fairly consistent. The main distinguishing characteristic (for what it's worth) of a Mark's style pizza is it's crust, which has a distinctively doughy consistency that, at times, can be quite chewy. I have to say that their sauce is (to my tastes) somewhat bland and can get fairly overwhelmed by cheese (which is, well, fairly non-descript). However, it is a nice alternative to the other pizza delivery chains. For the most part,when you order from Mark's there are no surprises. Of course, if you're willing to pick up a pizza from one of the joints that do not deliver, there are MUCH better pizza options. As far as delivery options go (in this neck of the woods), Mark's is the only one the whole family agrees on. read more
