Burnt sausage croissant Daily special Strawberry guava kolache

This place was sooooo good. The food was definitely worth getting. We had the burnt sausage croissant. And we tried the special. Definitely check it out. Just no there is no seating. So be prepared to grab it and go.

This is such a cute local bakery. It's small inside but very cozy with lovely decor. We got a ham & cheese croissant and a chocolate croissant. They are really soft, flaky, and buttery. Will definitely be back to try their other pastries in the future :)

The croissants here are AMAZING.

The best croissants in town. This place is the best bakery in Fairbanks, I would visit even more often if the hours were longer.

For the best French Pastry north of Anchorage this is the place to go. Almond croissants and chocolate croissants are my favorites.

I stop by at least once a week for a Goat cheese beet muffin, almond croissant or a cheesecake brownie.

We were excited to find a place where you can sit and enjoy a sandwich and coffee. I ordered a…read morebreakfast bagel, egg cheese and veggies on a jalapeño cheddar bagel and my husband ordered the ham and cheese on a baguette. We also ordered a caramel macchiato and a plain black coffee. If you are dining in, they do offer a refillable mug and you can get up to three free refills. The drinks came out pretty quick and to be honest, we were very disappointed. The caramel macchiato tasted medicinal and the black coffee didn't taste like coffee at all. It put quite the damper on what to expect for food if our drinks were this bad. Our food came out shortly after we got our drinks. However, the baguette sandwich wasn't anything to write home about. It was dense and pretty dry. The bagel sandwich on the other hand exceeded my expectations. I didn't have high hopes especially after having the coffee and trying the baguette sandwich, but the bagel was perfection. The cheddar on the bagel was toasted and crushed to perfected, the cheese, egg, and veggie combo was fluffy and gooey. My husband agreed that the bagel sandwich was definitely worth it and would come back for. Customer service was nice, everything came out very promptly and fairly quickly. There is quite a bit of tables inside with a variety of high and low chairs and felt very cozy.

But I'd like…read moreto echo what others have said about this place- the bagels are good but the service is horrible. And I'd venture to say its intentional. The people who run this place are putting out some very bad, judgemental, shitty energy. The party I arrived with all purchased and paid for their items separately. After we left, we discussed our experience and we agreed that my feeling was not isolated. I ordered last and got some items to consume on site and a half dozen of bagels to go. I let the cashier know Id let their help chosing, but I would like to include a Rosemary Salt and to exclude sweet bagels such as Raisin. She confirmed my order. When I got home, I had no Rosemary and TWO Raisin. In hindsight I'm sure it was spite. She just seemed like that kind of person (mean girl, anyone?) Since I told her I was from Anchorage she knew there was nothing I could do about it. I gave her a good tip. WTF?!?! As a business owner that is just another D move. I hope she gets a flat tire when its -35 and whoever she calls for help doesnt answer her call.
