Bucko's Coffee was a great stop. We went through the food & drink line, which was super easy and quick, and the person taking our order at the window was really kind. I ordered the Brr Berry, which was absolutely delicious. The blackberry soft top was out of this world, making the drink unique. The drink was incredibly refreshing and unlike anything I've had before. I also tried the trail bites and had all three flavors. My favorite was the white chocolate, super yummy. They're also vegan and gluten-free, which is great. They have a lot of drink options, along with some food choices. Overall, a really great coffee stop with creative drinks and friendly service. Needed a lil pick me up and saw Buckos by Costco. Decided to give it a try! There were 2 lines - one just for drinks and one for food and drinks. We only wanted a drink so we were in that line. I got a specialty drink - a pizookie but no salt (it's salted caramel) so I got regular caramel - iced. It was so good. Not too sweet, a good taste of coffee. We also mentioned how we were out of town and the girl at the window gave us a little treat!!! She was super sweet ! I wish I got her name. The line was pretty long but went by at a moderate speed. I came in Feb so it was only drive thru (I'm not sure if it's different without all the snow lol). Overall an amazing experience! If I'm ever back in town, will def be back! read more

Buckos has great coffee! 10/10 for coffee! Strong!! The first time I got a cold brew (pictured) and it was great. Not watered down. The second time I got an iced latte and it was even better!! They make their drinks strong. Love! The food is good if you're in a pinch and on the go, but I'd rather cook at home. My husband gave his breakfast burrito 3/5 and said it was "mid" but that he has has a lot of good breakfast burritos. My egg sandwich was as expected. Egg & bagel! The bagels were okay, but were from the east coast, so for Fairbanks I'd say everything is amazing! The staff is always so friendly and asks about my day. First time at Buckos and love this cute find! Tourists looking for great coffee to start our day and a little bite to eat and this was perfect! The lead pusher was a perfect strong hot coffee, served at the perfect temp so we could ACTUALLY DRINK it immediately without burning our mouths!! Mason, who took our order was so friendly and helpful and just plain adorable. He even gave us a one of the coffees on the house because it was our first time! Grabbed a quick breakfast before heading off for activities. The drive thru line was longer/slower than expected around 9-10AM on a Wed but there was a staff member who came up to take our order and try to expedite the wait. The breakfast sandwich was basic but I liked the warm cinnamon roll from Marlo's. Tried the seasonal Jack Johnson drink with banana, maple and chocolate but it was very sweet. Tried something called Blush Berry Tea. Tasted very boring, especially after reading all the flavors that it was supposed to have. I was impressed that they carry local bakery items (Marlo's Bakery). The star of my visit was the soft pretzel and cheese. It's from another local business called Friar Tucks. The cheese is slightly spicy and made with a little beer. So good! Best Mocha ever! (Pretty sure all their drinks are delicious) The queue line is insane it's the longest I've seen for drive through coffee and it's even 2 channels. We were in Fairbanks for our honeymoon (we are from Texas), and we were desperate to see the northern lights. Having to stay up that late/get up that early made me and my husband super tired, so having Bucko's right next to our Airbnb was awesome! Their food is spectacular, and their coffee is addicting!!! Overpriced and not tasty. The young lady at the window didn't tell me to stay at the first window , so I pulled up to the next window. While waiting a young lady drops off my drink to tell me she knew I wasn't told to wait at the first window but next time don't leave the window until the drinks are served. Why wouldn't there be a sign at the window or the employee state that. Not only that I decided to do a custom tip and the young lady was more concern with staring at the tip then making the order correctly. How does two burritos and a specialty coffee come up to $29.00? It wouldn't have been too disappointed but when I opened the food the burritos were extremely dry like they had just been sitting and were warmed up. The tater tots tasted like a freezer and I'm pretty sure there was only sausage and egg in the burrito. If I'm paying $10 per burrito there should be more options than bacon or sausage. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Lastly, it looks like there's a trash bin sitting in front of the back window.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] To be hosed with you , the employees may need to get paid more as they fish for the tip and the customer hasn't even received the service yet. Unfortunately, I didn't appreciate my experience today. Perhaps offer the tip jar at the second window after services are rendered and the customer can actually check their order. Two thumbs down. After traveling through Alaska, my husband and I finally decided to try one of these small, roadside coffee shops. Granted, Bucko's coffee was a little better developed than some of the ones we saw off on the side of the highway. I opted for the Rattler; A dark chocolate mocha. I substituted soy milk for regular milk, to prevent any tummy troubles. My husband ordered another one of their specialty drinks, I can't remember the name right now. Both beverages were very tasty and provided a much-needed caffeine boost. The drinks were not overly sweet or artificial in flavor. Simple menu with good food offerings and multiple sugar free options including some rare ones like coconut. The barista was incredibly friendly - some of the best service in a long time. The latte is hot and tasty - just a tad too sweet for me but still enjoyable. No latte art at all - foam was quite bubbly. But overall I'd come back for another latte for sure. I recommend this place. Unroasted: very busy small coffee shop with two drive thru windows. The staff is extremely friendly which is always a good sign. Plenty of flavors for everyone to enjoy.
