Recently ordered two sandwiches here for pick up, a Baja chipotle and a garden turkey. For their size, the price was a bit much, but it definitely reflects Alaska prices at ~$14/sandwich. I got the garden turkey and while I did enjoy the freshness of the sandwich, the entirety of the sandwich was very dry. I think it's because the bread was so dry (got it on sourdough. The best place in town to go to especially if you're wanting fresh baked bread they do it daily and their food is always top-notch their service excellence always I'm very proud to be a patron of this establishment. Before you spend your money on a salad thinking it will come with all the things in the picture and description just know it won't. This is the second time I've ordered from here in 3 months and both times they didn't get my order right and it was simple. The Cobb Salad. I was so excited for all the toppings especially the blue cheese, croutons and cherry tomatoes instead of regular ones and those are the things I didn't get on my salad. It's still a decent salad but when you order a Cobb salad you're expecting all the goodies especially for the price these days. Was very happy with our quick lunch here. We got the Harvest Veggie sandwich which was very fresh, packed with all the veggies, and the bread was nice and soft. It was a bit pricey at $14.75 given the size, but still overall worth it based on the quality. We also had the berry cream cheese scone, which was excellent. We loved their fresh made to order sandwiches. I would highly recommend their veggie and chicken sandwich. The bread is always so fresh!

This was really good! Good, wholesome food, and really tasty and healthy. Very thoughtfully made. The cookie was good too! Plenty of seating inside and parking is easy outside. They have some other gift shops type items available too for purchase. It was a good quick meal, perfect for lunch. I'm confused why the drive thru is a thing here. I waited over 10 minutes to get to the window and once I got there over 6 minutes and no one has come to greet me or take my money. I've seen 5 different people walk by but not one has acknowledged me. When the girl finally came to the window she pulled the cash out my hand so quickly that the change fell to the ground. I just ordered a cinnamon roll. This process shouldn't be a 20 min process. read more

Sunday morning, no one was in line before me when we entered and ordered, and only 1st her person was seated and yet it took 22 minutes for me to get a lukewarm mocha and 10/10 sandwich-after going back to counter twice to see what was taking so long. The sandwich was barely warm. Definitely NOT a 10/10-barely a 3/10. I had been excited that you finally were open on Sunday but the time it took was crazy, especially with a staff of 5. I love the turkey pesto sandwich on sourdough! The prices are very steep though, and it can be quite a wait when they are busy.

One thing that was immediately obvious was that the bread was sliced only 1/4 inch thick. A regular loaf of bread is sliced almost twice as thick. As a result, both sandwiches quickly fell apart. The avocado in my wife's sandwich had already broken through the center of the bread before she picked it up. I wish the chicken salad came without strong tasting Cajun seasoning on the pecans. It ruined the flavor of the sandwich, which would have been fine otherwise. For a combined 30 bucks, I expected better. read more

I chose the Cobb Sandwich and it was great! I loved how much meat was on the sandwich, and the price wasn't overwhelming. I'll say the only con, was the drive thru. I understand this is not fast food. But waiting 10 minutes seemed a little long for ordering one sandwich. Especially since it was not cooked, nor do they do any sides. Most bazaar experience. We went to the counter, ordered a sandwich and an order of a bowl of soup with bread. They bring it all out on one plate, there are two of us setting there, two meals. No bread with the soup as stated. $12.50 for a cup of soup. They said it was a bowl but it was in an 8 oz cup. I got up and asked them for a plate so I could put my soup and bread that I hadn't gotten on something. They acted confused, like it was an inconvenience. I then asked for the bread. She goes back and comes back out and hands me two slices of bread out of her hands, no butter, not on a plate, out of her hand. I ask for some butter, she said there is a charge for butter. So, you offer bread with your soup but if you want some butter for the bread, you have to pay for it? I basically said no, not paying for butter and turned around and sat down. The gal then comes out and plops some butter by my plate. Needless to say to say, I would never go back. Was a pretty bazaar experience. read more

The sandwich was amazing. I got the hot buffalo chicken bleu and I could have slammed another one. I could have eaten two full sandwiches but it was incredibly tasty. Atmosphere is nice, overall it's clean and well put together. I didn't check the bathroom. They were handing out generous free samples which made it feel like a pleasant welcome. Honestly I'll probably come back to eat another (2) sandwiches while I'm visiting. I won't get the power bar again though. It was like a giant cookie and not a granola bar. Wow you can smell the fresh bread outside. Was going on a road trip to the Artic Circle stopped by for sandwiches and snacks great variety. Friendly staff. We had the Ham and Swiss, Roast Beef and Italian all were delicious. Bought some in house granola and trail mix super fresh. You can see the bakers baking all the goods. A chain, but a tempting one. Lots of good choices for sandwiches and treats, and they have the charming habit of offering samples while you're in line to order. We stopped here on the last day of our week in Alaska, but had we stayed longer we would have been tempted to buy some bread and goodies to enjoy later. This place was fanominal! Four of us friends went here for lunch and we all enjoyed the delicious food so much we went back two days later!! I found it listed on YELP and was not disappointed at all. The staff were friendly and efficient. The bread is made right there and it looks and smells so good! They offer you a slice of various breads to sample as you come in.
