Cute little spot, great for an easy breakfast or lunch. Was craving a salad and their Sweetheart Salad was so good. Their quiche bites are more like frittata bites since they have no crust but are yummy and were served warmed up. Our kiddos liked the waffle since you can choose your toppings. I got a spiced chai which was a little light in flavor for me, maybe I would have liked the Portland Chai better. Their baked items and cupcakes looked delish too... I would probably frequent this cafe if I was a local.

Not open until 7. Just came in right at 5; stood behind a man who ordered a coffee. Waited a long time for his drink and I just stood there with two baristas looking at me. He got his coffee so I stood infront of the register. It took that 8 minutes or so that I stood there for the girl to say we're closed. Couldn't you have said that when I walked in and stood in line? I won't be back.

Food 10/10! Seriously wish I knew the secret to the cupcakes. Service 10/10, friendly and efficient. Ambiance-super cute locations, visited both during my time in Fairbanks! Spicy mocha was good! Mint mocha latte was good, but a bit sweet for me! Caramel mocha latte was "exceptional" my hubs said!

I ordered a 20 oz. Bluebird smoothie on Saturday May 16, 2026 around 2pm at the Little Owl Cafe on Westwood Way. I also ordered 2 Tuscan Turkey sandwiches, both on a Ciabatta roll. The sandwiches tasted really good, but when I got my drink, it was a 16 oz. instead of a 20 oz. I decided to let that slide even though I paid $7.25 for the drink. The problem came when I took a sip. It wasn't even tolerable!! After having both of my adult sons try it, they had the same feeling that I did. It was DISGUSTING!!! It tasted like Chai, blueberries, and A LOT of water!!! It is supposed to be blueberries, banana, coconut milk, and cinnamon. When I mentioned it to the young ladies at the counter, I was told that I got exactly what I ordered and that it is impossible to mess up since there are only 4 ingredients. I mentioned that I had ordered this particular drink before, but they insisted that I was given the drink that I had ordered. They didn't offer to remake it, or even offer an apology. I know I am only one person, and maybe it doesn't matter to them, but I WON'T be going back! The only reason my review is 2 stars is because the sandwiches were good, and the prices were posted on the menu, otherwise, they would be given a 1-star rating!

Such a cute place! Definitely check it out, it's hard to know where to go when you are not from here and you have limited time, yet can only eat and drink so much in that time. We came on a Tuesday morning and there were two people working at tables with laptops and one guy sitting by the fireplace. We ordered a 16oz mocha and a 16oz iced cold brew. Also got a granola tart, it was delicious, so good and fresh. Had a bed of granola cooked, like a tart, topped with yogurt and blackberries and blueberries. Just a snack but it was great. I think the owner was there, not sure but she was nice. Seemed to be her cafe. Which was cutely decorated with owls. There needs to be a sign by the road on the main sign, it didn't have a sign so we drove by since it's kinda hard to see. Seems to be a little co op area for small businesses?

My daughter is currently living on base and working in Fairbanks. She is gluten free and misses the options the "big city" has in comparison to small North Pole. Enter, Little Owl Cafe! They have some amazing meal options and baked goods that are gluten free, vegan and more! Definitely worth giving them a shot, as she has loved everything she's tried so far today! Thank you for making her day brighter!

Service was friendly and quick. The coffee was really delicious. A lot of options available and you can customize! The carrot cake cupcake had good flavor, but it was a little bit soggy on the bottom. Could've been better. But overall would still recommend!

    Vanilla cardamom latte

I got the vanilla cardamom latte which was super yummy and executed with beautiful latte art. I also got a breakfast sandwich which was a little bland but nothing some ketchup couldn't help. Both service and ambiance was very nice

Absolutely delightful! Little Owl Cafe is my favorite spot in Fairbanks. My traveling companion has a number of food allergies; I do not. We were both able to find delicious things to eat. Everything from vegan Belgian waffles to the best chicken salad I have ever had. The gluten free German chocolate cupcakes are soooooo good! The service is friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back.

Clean, great prices and plenty of great tasting options. The owner has celiac so almost everything can be modified to be gluten free, vegan, dairy free or more. This is the place to go if you want lots of healthy options, or have dietary restrictions. You won't get bored by the number of items on the menu, and the tastes won't disappoint. Portion sizes are reasonable and will fill you up, for a fair price. Great for kids and adults, plenty of small tables inside. Not waited tables. Casual and fun inside with little merchandise to buy. Great place!! We will be coming back.

This place has amazing food, everything I've tried has been amazing! Even my DoorDashed waffles. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The cafe is clean and comfortable with plenty of space. They offer a counter seating space as well. Coffees are handcrafted and smooth.

Yummy coffee and food. I had the Greek spinach wrap and a vanilla latte. Both good and the store next to it was so cute to shop in as well.

Unfortunately, when we…read morearrived, I noticed that all the crepes were being placed on the same skillet once finished. That meant egg-based crepes were potentially touching the vegan ones. I asked if one skillet could be wiped down so I could safely order, but they weren't able to accommodate that (it also wasn't very busy at the time, which is why I asked). Because of this, I decided not to risk ordering a crepe. I did end up getting the hot chocolate, which was actually excellent. It was really well balanced, rich, and chocolatey without being overly sweet. Everyone else in my group ordered crepes and loved them, so it's clear the food is good. I just wish there was a bit more flexibility around cross-contact for people ordering vegan options or with dietary restrictions. Based on my personal experience, I would lean toward a 2, but since others really enjoyed their crepes and the hot chocolate was great, it feels fair to land on a 3 for my rating.

We also ordered a caramel macchiato and a plain black coffee. If you are dining in, they do offer a refillable mug and you can get up to three free refills. The drinks came out pretty quick and to be honest, we were very disappointed. The caramel macchiato tasted medicinal and the black coffee didn't taste like coffee at all. It put quite the damper on what to expect for food if our drinks were this bad. Our food came out shortly after we got our drinks. However, the baguette sandwich wasn't anything to write home about.
