Was visiting from out of state and one thing on my bucket list was to find a head spa! They had a special for two treatments which was a perfect intro to head spas in general. I had kind of avoided trying out any back home because a lot of reviews would point out that some of the places used bad smelling water or overall cleanliness was not up to standard. Marma Head Spa is SO cute inside and I noticed how clean it was right away! The salon stations were spotless and organized and it smelled great! I had Jessica doing my treatment and my husband had someone else who he said was very good. Jessica was AMAZING. I appreciated how she explained a bit of what was going to happen throughout because I really had no idea what was included. 45 mins of deep scalp massage is no joke, and I was surprised at how she managed to maintain that pressure the whole time! I opted for air drying, but as soon as I went outside my hair was basically dry in 10 mins. I loved the addition of hot towels over the eyes and under the neck! As someone who typically washes her hair every day-ish, I was able to make it two+ days with my hair still feeling amazing and could have gone more if I hadn't gone swimming. read more

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Marma Head Spa recently. I called and was sent to voicemail - which is okay I left a voicemail and received no call back. So I called again and was initially told that I could reschedule my appointment without any issues but 10 minutes later received a call back. They went back on their word and ended up charging me a fee on top of the service charge. That alone felt extremely unprofessional and misleading. On top of all this, the customer service was poor throughout the entire situation. Instead of trying to resolve the issue or honor what I was originally told, they were dismissive and unhelpful. It felt like they didn't value me as a customer at all. Which is even more unfortunate considering I've gone here numerous times and I've even brought people with me. Overall, I would not recommend Marma Head Spa based on my experience. Clear communication and good customer service are basic expectations, and unfortunately, they failed on both. read more

Went yesterday with a friend to take advantage of a 2 for $99 45min treatment package deal they were offering. It was incredible!! Jessica and Priscilla were wonderful! The chair was so comfortable and the room was very dark with a nice sound machine - instantly relaxed lying in the chair. She spent about 30 minutes scrubbing my hair and massaging my neck and upper back area. Every movement was intentional and was extremely relaxing. Afterward, they put you in a chair and gently comb out her hair and do a little bit more massage on my neck and upper back. I was an absolute zombie afterwards. I am a fan! Came here with a few girlfriends using their two for 99 special that they have for the month of December. The space is very calming and well a little smaller than other places it doesn't compromise on quality. The service itself was very good, although the rooms are separated by curtains so if somebody's chatting next door, you can kind of hear it. I'm not sure if there's other full service options where they would give you headphones, but what we did was amazing enough. My treatment specialist had the best massage and she constantly checked if the pressure was good enough. I love firm pressure on my head and she delivered at the end they can give you a rough blow dry and braid your hair but because they are focused on wellness, they don't do any sort of styling or anything, which I understand. I really liked the hair products they used, which were Milbon from Japan and I ended up buying a couple of bottles to try for home. I've been to pretty much all the head spa places in Vegas (japanese style, vietnamese style, americanized, you named it) and so far this is top of the list. Pros: the treatment from start to finish involved no tools, only hands. That's a huge plus versus so many other places, the tech really went deep with the massages and I loved it. They use Milbon products (which is same as most other head spas) and they offer tea tree scalp care. Their prices are reasonably priced versus other places as well (currently have a promo going on). Double cleansed, steam, massage all were great. Cons: their chair/bed is not flat so it's a bit harder for me to adjust the neck around the sink rim but besides that everything is perfect. I also like the fact that their bed is not the "automatic massage chair" like some other places. All in all 5/5. I really like this place and will come again if they keep this decent pricing. This was a gem I found in search of a head spa to accommodate a group of us in Las Vegas to celebrate a friend's birthday. All of us asked for the Ayurvedic service which was 60 minutes long. There was 5 of us but they only have 4 rooms so we split the group up into 3 for the first hour and two for the second. We were running late unfortunately by 10 minutes and they made it work for us and that was very appreciated. The atmosphere was nice and calming. It was very clean and the staff was amazing and so very nice. I had Europe, the only male staff there at the time I went and he was great! The quality of the service he gave me was so good! My friends all raved about their service from each of their staff members and we were all so relaxed when we left. She's been a consistent, returning customer and has recommended their services to several friends and family members, so this experience was especially disappointing. Rather than showing any appreciation for her loyalty, the situation was handled in a way that felt careless and unfair. There was no real attempt to make things right or even acknowledge the fact that she's supported their business for so long. It came across as if her continued support didn't matter at all. A business should take care of the people who continue to support and promote them, and that clearly didn't happen here. As someone who loves to experiment with new self-care treatments, trying a head spa was on the top of my list. I booked a treatment called Scalp + Mind renewal with Melanie at Marma Head Spa and the experience was wonderful beyond my expectations. Melanie started the session by brushing my hair and inspecting my scalp health. She went over some things with me before doing a glorious neck and shoulder massage. That was followed by scalp oiling and a detoxing clay mask. After that, we went into the head spa room where I was giving a comfy blanket and laid back while Melanie washed the mask out. She gave me the most relaxing therapeutic head and neck massage I've ever experienced. You don't know how badly you need your head massage like this until you've have your head massaged like this. She double cleansed my hair then did a few more magical things that I can't quite remember because I was so relaxed. She ended the session was a procession gun massage, and offered to blow dry my hair. I left feeling absolutely rejuvenated. Well as I previously mentioned, I am obsessed with head spas and have visited pretty much all head spas around town. I decided to come back here and I'm glad I did because I had an amazing experience this time. I previously mentioned that one of the things I thought in my opinion could improve is the lighting in the treatment room. I was in a treatment room where there were no lights above. I also learned that the lights in this place could be dimmed. Kayla did my deep scalp service and she was amazing. Great vibes from her, she was always smiling, and very pleasant to talk to. The water they use in the sink feels like a very smooth and silky waterfall, and it does not feel like they are just spray washing your hair. The entire experience was so relaxing. Unlike my previous experience here, Kayla really took her time with the massage and it was probably the best massage I've had in a head spa. She also finished my service with a neck and shoulder massage after the treatment. Note about head spa massages: there are some head spas where I could feel staff's fingernails as they were scrubbing and massaging my head, and it's sometimes uncomfortable and doesn't feel like it's good for my head. I had no issues with that here, and it shows when they do before and after photos of your scalp. Kayla also took before and after photos of my scalp and my scalp has never looked so good! The products they use feels so good and are the best. I typically bring my own volumizing mousse because my hair is so flat when I don't use it. They also have their own volumizing mousse and other clean products you can use when you dry your hair. I used both their volumizing mousse and mine and my hair still feels and smells amazing. Firstly, I have nothing but great reviews for the therapists. However, the three star is meant for business practices as a whole. I have been to Tea Spa on Jones and Scalp Bar in Henderson and I have had amazing treatments with them. I just do not understand why they let you leave the spa with wet hair!!! I came in with dry hair and I just do not get the reasoning behind letting a customer come out of the salon with wet hair especially in the cold weather. I do not expect blow dry and styling and I find it reasonable to do an up charge for the additional service mentioned. Secondly, the bookings are back to back. Therapist do not have time to entertain questions as there is already a customer waiting. The therapist needs at least 15 minutes to prepare for the next customer. I had the "Refreshing Scalp and Facial Treatment" which is a 30 min facial massage and a 30 min hair cleansing session.
