Victoria usually helps me and she has amazing style and will frequently pull out a pair of shoes I didn't see or ask for that turn out to be just perfect for the outfit where I'm needing new shoes. I am so appreciative of her product knowledge and customer service. When you walk in it feels like you're an instant friend. They have a great selection of shoes and especially stylish looking athletic shoes that are so comfortable for running around town. Since they closed Marina del Rey and El Segundo, this is the closest store to us, and worth the 60+ mile drive. The customer service is excellent, the selection is excellent and they stock sizes most stores don't: that is a huge reason for us to make this drive twice per year. If we don't want to make the drive, we call and order from Andrea, who can help with how shoes fit so we order the correct size. I can't say enough good about this shopping experience except to say, this is the kind of service that used to be normal but is now difficult to find. I came in two weeks late from when I said I would on the phone, and she still remembered me and helped me without bitterness (which would have been deserved-- she had to pull boxes of shoes down for me to prepare for my visit BOTH TIMES). I was having a pretty emotional day when I visited the store and she not only helped me find my perfect shoes, but comforted me as well. She's also extremely complimentary. I have lived in Corona Del Mar for a long time and my next door neighbor shops here and loves it. I had some extra time today and thought I would drop by. I was impressed with the lovely collection of very good quality shoes similarly found in a Neiman Marcus. They had their summer sale and I found a pair that were adorable. I asked for my size and the gentleman with the cool Gucci sneakers helped me. The store was actually busy, there was a group of 4 women having a good time and keeping them busy. The shoes unfortunately were too tight and I thanked him and told him so and WOW he snatched them out of my hands as if I asked him to give them to me for free! A snippy "okay" and walked away. I probably would have tried others but he was not welcoming in any way, shape or form. I guess I didn't fit his Newport Beach profile. Won't ever go in there again. read more

Who doesn't like finding a fashionable pair of shoes that you know you won't have to break in? I'm a 7W and when I visit Marmi, I always leave with a pair of shoes I know I will love and wear out, not something that I can wear only for a couple of hours with my pups screaming for relief. This was my first visit to this store, previously visited one in Marina Del Ray that has relocated. The store is easy to move around in, shoes nicely displayed and grouped well, inviting to sit and try on shoes - just like Cinderella. Quy brought out the shoe I wanted to try on along with 2 other styles. I ended up buying one of the other styles based on fit and how darn cute they were. Great service and a good use of my time. My mother has 2 pairs of shoes from this store. I have none, because the age range I'd say for Marmi is about 40 & up. Very mature shoes. They look beautiful on my mother, though. I have been in here with her twice, and I know there is only one review, so here I am! We have only experienced great service here. I walked in today and received compliments on my shoes by the saleswomen. The young man helping my mother find the right pair of flats was extremely helpful - he even used leather softener on a pair of flats she had been mulling over to make them more comfortable for her. Huge selection! Pretty high-end, but doable if you need a nice pair of shoes. As a 19-year old, there is very little appeal here for my age range and style, so beware of that. read more

Marmi is a great shoe store and has always been important to me. My very slim feet are difficult to fit and Marmi has always come through for me no matter the occasion. Unfortunately I live in Chicago where Marmi does not exist but I know who to call when I need help. That person, and perhaps one of the most important people to me is Andrea Aldonado She is Marmi Shoes and I don't think Marmi would be as successful as it is without her. To my deep dismay Andrea lives nowhere close to Chicago! To me she encompasses Marmi and I am lost without her. We walked in and the store seemed cleaned and organized. We asked the clerk for the size and he came back with 3 shoes none of which we wanted. His attitude was quite rude. Telling us that if we always wear flip flops we will never get used to dress shoes. Questioning the brands we wear, acting as if we are some low life's walking in to his store. Then he recommended us to go to Louis Vuitton which is a complete different price point, we left the store feeling uncomfortable and upset. We will not be returning to this store. read more

Just experienced the BEST SALE ever at Marmi Newport Beach. The more shoes you buy the better the discount. I have purchased over 20 pairs of shoes from Marmi and LOVE THEM ALL!! I've never seen a sale like this........blew my mind. Walked out of the store with 5 pairs of shoes. This recent visit with Quy Hoang was especially gratifying as he was quick to find similar shoes that he felt I might like. I found him to be very knowledgeable and helpful.
