    10. Chicken Shawarma Bowl

I'm glad I finally had a chance to eat here. I dined during lunch but it wasn't too busy. It was clean inside and so was the bathroom. I ate in, and it took about 5-6 minutes for my food to come out. I had the chicken shawarma bowl with green beans. The chicken was seasoned well and wasn't dry. The sauce on top went well with the dish and I enjoyed the pita and hummus. I've never had green beans cooked that way but they were good. I also had a specialty tea, which I can't remember the name but it was good. I hope this gem stays in Smyrna.

Fun for the whole family. We loved this place! Even our baby, who enjoyed chewing on her first pita! The service was so nice and helpful, and they let us sample the chickens before ordering so we could decide which one we wanted. The chicken tanjiya had a wonderful fresh lemon flavor, and the chicken shawarma was equally delicious. I loved the variety of veggies and hummus that came with the shawarma bowl. A feast of flavors. The food was ready quickly (it's fast casual), and I was shocked it wasn't packed on a weekend afternoon. We can't wait to go back and try more. I thought it was a good amount of food for the value.

Dining at Marrakesh Express was a last minute decision, but I'm very happy I went! The highlight of this visit was the service, we had the owner take our order and prepare the meal and she was excellent. When my girlfriend and I were unsure of what we wanted to eat she immediately offered us samples of a few dishes which were very tasty. She was such a nice person to interact and discuss the menu with and it really made the visit. On top of that the food was also delicious, we had the chicken shawarma plate, falafel sandwich, and baklawa, and all were really tasty. My favorite was the falafel sandwich as it was something I wasn't sure about at first but I really enjoyed. I wish I had heard about Marrakesh sooner and I can't wait to come back!

After running errands Saturday morning, stopped by for lunch. I'd read great things about this spot since it took over this location. There was no one inside, a party eating on the patio and one person working. The employee greeted me and advised to give them a few minutes as I looked over the menu. There's a variety of plates, bowls, sandwiches, salads desserts and sides. Mostly vegetarian but they sell chicken and lamb too. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma bowl with everything. While I waited there was a tray of baklava sitting on the display case. I asked if it was coming out or going back in. He never replied but it sat uncovered the entire time. Overall the location is cozy, clean and food was great quality. The flavors weren't that outstanding - more Morrocan than Mediterranean flavor. Some veggies in the bowl seemed overcooked. I'd return to try other things and hope they last in Smyrna!

Very tasty. Cute inside. Lovely owner. Had the falafel bowl. Very filling. Lots of flavor.

Dear Smyrna Family, Marrakech Express is open and excited for our business! Just visited yesterday evening (1/13/26)--and WHAT A FIND!! First, the restaurant is clean as a whistle!! Everything sparkles and there's a cool patio for outdoor dining. weather permitting (See pics). Got to speak with the owner/chef, and SHE IS AMAZING! She has successfully run a catering business for the past 20 years, has a busy restaurant in Midtown, and has blessed Smyrna with her talent for delectable Moroccan/Mediterranean cuisine using her own recipes passed down through her family for generations! We ordered the chicken shawarma bowl, a falafel sandwich, and a side of baba ghanoush. HEAVEN!! The food is melt-in-your-mouth scrumptious with distinctive flavors and ample servings. The bowls give an opportunity to explore a variety delicious "sides" all in one bowl. And the price is totally reasonable for what you get!! Marrakech Express is not just a place to eat--it's a delightful culinary experience you and your friends and family MUST check out!! I have already set another friend gathering to visit again next week!! I'm so glad this place chose SMYRNA!! Let's show Marrakech Express some love!! Check out my pics!!

I ordered plate #3 with chicken and my husband ordered plate #4 with lamb. The portions were an excellent size and plates well. My chicken was tasty and seasoned well but the biggest thing I can say about the chicken was it was moist and fell apart easily. It wasn't dry or overcooked and I wanted to finish my entire plate, even though I was very full. My husband's lamb came in a bone but was so fall off the bone, literally, and it was delicious. I would go back for this dish but based on the two dishes I really can't wait to try more of the menu.

It's a cute little restaurant serving Moroccan /middle Eastern food. The place is clean and simply done with nice outside patio. The chicken shawarma was cooked well and delicious. It almost feels like home cooked. I also ordered a vegetarian platter with extra side of harissa. This was great too. The server was friendly and welcoming.

    2. Chicken Tanjiya

The food was absolutely delicious and people were extremely friendly. She even let us try samples before we ordered. The chicken tanjiya was so tender and flavorful. Restaurant was super clean and in a well lit and populated high end shopping center. I will definitely be back.

From the moment we walked in, the staff was friendly and the restaurant was very clean. There was plenty of seating options inside as well as an outdoor patio. I had the chicken shawarma bowl and my husband had the chicken Taniya. Both dishes were beautifully presented, they were incredibly flavorful and there is enough food for a couple of meals. We will absolutely be coming back! What a wonderful addition to our Smyrna community. Well done!

Juicy, perfectly seasoned, and wrapped in warm, fresh tortillas. No dryness, no shortcuts, just clean flavor that lets the grill speak for itself. You can tell the chicken wasn't rushed or drowned in sauce to hide mistakes. Now let's talk about the Adana mix grill. This is the kind of plate that makes the table go silent for a minute. Everything was cooked with intention. Smoky, tender, well-spiced meats that tasted like they came straight off an open flame, not a reheated pan. Portions were generous without being sloppy, and every bite held its own. The service was warm, attentive, and unpretentious. Staff actually checked in without hovering, knew the menu, and made solid recommendations. That alone puts Adana ahead of a lot of places. The ambiance ties it all together. Cozy but upscale, relaxed without feeling casual. Great lighting, clean space, and a vibe that works whether you're on a date, with family, or just treating yourself to a good meal. Adana isn't trying to be trendy. It's just focused on doing good food, good service, and good atmosphere consistently. And honestly, that's rare these days. Definitely a repeat visit.

Never had convenience and quality come together so beautifully. The food, the service, the ambiance are all fantastic. I was torn between shawarma and lamb shank - the staff recommended the lamb shank, which I'm happy about. It was fall off the bone tender. They could have gone heavier on the spices but they give you sauce (tahini and garlic mayo-ish). The bread was amazing too... fresh, fluffy and warm. The food came out super quick. There's plenty of seating - it's a large space with many booths and tables. The decor is lovely. I wish they were playing some Arabic music to round off the experience. There's ample parking in the lot. If you're wondering if the restaurant is Palestinian - it is. I asked the staff lol. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu before I leave Marietta.

Let's start of with how beautifully embellished the restaurant is. It's a refined fusion of modern elegance & old-world Persian heritage, that celebrates Persian hospitality & culture. Once seated you're gifted a complimentary starter Sabzi Plate that includes fresh herbs, feta cheese, walnuts, Castelvetrano olives, crunchy radish, and premium walnuts. It also comes with side of freshly baked Persian flatbread. We ordered a plethora of dishes. Our favorite plates were the hummus [we paired with the mushroom add on], lamb chops, and the Adas Polo rice. Trust me get the Adas Polo rice, it absolutely mouthwatering. As for beverages there is a variety of curated cocktails that we tasted but my top pick had to be the Tehran Mule! As for desserts our favorite was the Persian ice cream sandwich, it has unique flavors with rose being one of them. So good! For parking they offer a combination of valet services and validated garage parking depending on which location you go. The dress code is business casual. It's a perfect place for any accession, I definitely am planning on coming back to try more dishes. Take my word and come check it out! Your taste buds will thank you!
