THEY FOCUS ON STEALING YOUR MONEY AND NOT COMING TO YOUR HOME TO FIX YOUR APPLIANCES. THEY REQUIRE A $79.99 DEPOSIT BEFORE SHOWING UP AND THEN REFUSING TO REVERSE THE MONEY BACK TO YOUR ACCOUNT. THEY ALSO HAVE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY SAY THAT IF YOU PAY WITH DEBIT THAT YOUR CARD IS A CASH PAYMENT FOR DEPOSIT THEY MAKE YOU PAY AND NOT REFUND YOUR MONEY BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO RECORD OF THE DEPOSIT. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. THEY HAVE A 1-2 STARS AND IF IT WAS UP TO ME IT WOULD BE LOWER OR IN THE NEGATIVE. They were supposed to come the same day as the $79.99 deposit and the appointment was scheduled for 5-7pm. Someone would call 30 minutes before the technician would come. The admin called an hour before at 4pm to say the tech had a family emergency and that they tech would have to come the NEXT day from 5-7pm. THE DEPOSIT was pending on my account. The admin said she would REVERSE OR DELETE THE CHARGE and it would take a couple days. Fine. BUT then she said the technician could come from 12-3pm. It's now the NEXT DAY. I waited to call because I did NOT receive a call from admin 30 minutes prior to the appointment. It's now 4PM and I give the company a call to tell them to reverse the deposit and cancel my appointment. The admin said my appointment was scheduled for 5-7pm instead of 12-3pm. The admin also said the technician is STUCK at a hotel project and will be running late. Why would I want to continue the service with a company that is LATE, LIES, STEALS YOUR MONEY, MAKES YOU PAY A DEPOSIT BEFORE THE SERVICE, HAS TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, CLUELESS, AND SCAMMERS? The admin said the deposit would take a couple days to clear and they would get rid of my card information. This started on 10/10 with the deposit and no show. 10/11 no show, LATENESS, and I canceled the appointment. 10/15 I call the company about the $79.99 deposit and file a claim with my bank. For the call, the admin could see my number, appointment information before I could even say anything, and the deposit. I asked if the company could tell me anything about the pending transaction, when it would come back, and that's it's been well over a few days for said pending transaction of $79.99. The admin said theres no card on file and that I paid in CASH for the deposit over the phone (how is that possible), but continues to say the company didn't charge me and that I didnt pay anything at all. It's conflicting because HE SAID the transaction was VOIDED and my appointment was canceled on their end. IT MAKES NO SENSE. HE THEN PROCEEDS TO ASK ME FOR MY CARD INFORMATION to "check" if my card was charged. SCAMMERS. I SAID NO and he said how will I know if we charged you or not????? AFTER HE JUST SAID HE COULD SEE EVERYTHING ABOUT MY APPOINTMENT AND DEPOSIT. SCAM. I talked to 3 different people and the same person twice! NO ONE knew what was going on. DO NOT, AND I REPEAT DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I wish I wouldve seen richard's review. Marreno Appliance repair has the worst customer service. As you can see by most of my reviews I usually post positive but this was the worst customer service I ever received. Had an appointment for 9 am yesterday (Saturday January 2) they did say the window was until noon but because we were a business depending on dryers the would get there close to 9 am. At 1230 I called and they had the tech call me. He was just finishing a job and would be to us by about 115. At 230 I called again she told me he had an issue with the truck and would be to me by 330. At 4 he finally arrived stayed literally 2 minutes mumbled something to the receptionist about calling me to let me know what was going on. As of this post Sunday at 730 pm I have not heard from anyone. This was truly the most unprofessional business I have ever dealt with. You were warned!! Richard read more

I used Marreno Appliance Repair a year ago repair my RCA Oven. Everything was fine until recently when the same problem occurred. The oven wouldn't light. I called Marreno Appliance Repair to see if the work was possibly still covered under warranty and I was told that it was only covered for 90 days. I am a reasonable person and understand that warranties are usually discussed at the time of purchase so obviously this was my fault for not paying better attention. Given the fact that the work only lasted for a year I decided to call someone else to come and fix the oven this time. Here in lies my issue. The new repair man advised me that the work that had been done on the oven was very shoddy and that he could see the igniter had been recently replaced but wires were cut and never taped off and that they were black and charred. He said given the condition of the work I am lucky that the entire thing didn't catch fire. This is a perfect example of getting what you pay for. Marreno Appliance Repair has the cheapest service call price but if you have to fix it again a year later (if your house doesn't burn down first) is it really worth it? read more
