I had my first visit to Marseille Nails last night. I was a bit nervous because I usually go to another place in town, but Marseille is closer to me. I'm not sure the gentleman's name who did my nails, but he did a fantastic job! He was very gentle and detailed! I had gel and some dip tips from my previous place and he took such great care of getting the past polish off. I wanted to go for a more natural look with my natural nails showing, and I am so pleased! I love to get fun designs too! So I'll be back and see what they can do! Great place!! read more

Very disappointed in the salon, i have gone there twice, won't go back. First time it was $82 for pedi and dip nails. I was not told there is not tip added to the total, I had no cash , so techs did not get tips. Bothe were rude, no conversation..... I went there today to get dip nails. same thing tech was rude, I felt I was bothering him, This time I had cash for the tip, I didn't get thank you and I was over charged, why have prices listed on the wall, when you charge what ever you want. I moved to CR last summer looking for good, inexpensive nail place. still no luck. It is sad, because this one was so close to me. read more

If I could give it less than 1 star I would. They were sloppily done. Completely different lengths and very patchy color. My cuticles and actual fingers were cut as well. I had them done less that five days and have already lost one and the rest are beginning to lift and crack as well. read more

Never returning! SIX of my cuticles look like this...I keep bumping them and they hurt like hell. The nail tech (didn't catch her name) noticed when it happened (on two) and put some sort of antiseptic on them, but never apologized. A manicure should be a relaxing experience...instead I'm left with with red, swollen, painful cuticles. The tech was clearly in a hurry and not paying any attention to what she was doing - I had to stop her when she started the dip and ask her to trim my nails because she just started right in. I came to get Manicure with Dip powder and it was far worst place to come do your nails I didn't even get a full manicure the color was not fully on my nail and filed off my nails off. The only male person they have working is the one that did my nails. He used brushes that looked super old. I do not recommend this place what's so ever and still had the nerve to charge me for a full manicure I paid him in full just because I believe in karma. Couldn't even give me back my fully change in return. read more

The woman who helped me was very nice and they did a good job. My only complaint is I wish they asked if i liked the shape when they were doing it. Wow, so many things wrong with this place! My nails are terrible. The man doing my dip was so aggressive with my hands pulling me closer to him and scolding me for not relaxing my fingers. He burned me three with the dremel, the whole process was painful. All of my cuticles are a mess full of leftover drip powder and gel polish. I should honestly go back for a refund. I've never left with nails that look this bad!!! read more

People are rude and they do a horrible job. They treated my wife poorly. My wife made an appointment and showed up to be told they were busy and needed to come back. They said something in their native language and all laughed. Made us feel super uncomfortable. The first time I went here, I figured it was just a rough day. My nail tech was silent the entire time and when I asked her to fix an edge, she rolled her eyes? It was uneven at best. Second time, I got a pedicure and dip once again. When it was time to check out, they ran my card without an option to tip and when I asked if I was able to add, they said "cash only". Went and got an acrylic rebase on wednesday for my sisters wedding which i'm a bridesmaid in. Thursday morning while i was getting ready my thumb nail broke in half after doing literally nothing to it. I had no time to go get it fixed so i improvised which has been extremely annoying. This morning, the DAY of the wedding, another nail broke in half!!! Not to mention the lady doing my nails was extremely agressive with how she was pulling my arm and she was burning my nail. I'm soooooo annoyed and soooo pissed. First and last time here. Because I had already cut my nails due to not being able to get a pedi in time for other reasons (and I hate having toe nails!), I severely needed my feet soaked and scrubbed. After 3 people deciding amongst themselves over the span of 15 mins and each doing something different to set me up, my pedicure began. A total of 3 sentences from the technician to me; just kept watching others and tv. I explained what i needed--cuticles and skin cleared and nails short and buffed. 10 mins later the tech decided he was done and it was time for massage. Nope! I said, you need to do my nails! I want them short and round. No nail. Then he finally at least filed the nails. Then i insisted for the second time, I need the grater. Finally, he did that. I was done in 30 mins which is fine for me considering i don't use color and he literally didn't even clip my nails. But good gracious, why do I need to tell you what is the minimum requirement for a pedi?!?! Fyi: they will try to sell you the pedi from a list without prices ($36) and the normal pedi is $26. Also, they won't allow you to tip on your card. read more

I honestly have never written a bad review, but this was the worst manicure of my life. I got a gel dip, and to be honest it seemed like it was his first time. By the end, my nails were 1/4 of an inch thick because he kept having to re-dip them because he'd chip them with the grinding tool, not be paying attention and dip into the wrong color, etc. My cuticles were also bleeding at the end and he proceeded to brush cuticle oil over the bloody cuticles and put the brush right back in the bottle!! read more

My sister in law and I came here for pedicures. We got the deluxe package which was really nice. The workers don't rush and made it very relaxing. My massage chair wasn't so great. Kind of hurt my back. I noticed most of the massage chairs were very worn down. But don't let that stop u from going here. The leg and feet massage makes up for it. Will return. read more

Unsanitary, staff unable to communicate in English and they refuse to allow tips on a debit card. Nails were not setting right (probably because they dryers were broken), so they didn't say anything but just kept redoing them without a word. This nail salon is very clean and professional, they do excellent work and my nails look wonderful and they last a long time and make my hands look nice, I have recommended neighbors and family members and they have all been very pleased. First time here and I will not be back. I went in for a gel mani, and was talked into the powder dip. It turned out so awful that another nail tech had to redo them. I didn't get cuticle clipping or my fingers soaked, so I thought I'd be charged for just the polish part, not a full mani. I was wrong. $41 for a messed up powder dip polish job with no cuticle clipping, etc. When I asked if that price included a full mani with cuticle clipping, I was told yes. When I told her that's not what I got, she said it would still be $41?? Also, I asked the nail tech to not use the dremel on my nails, he said okay, but 10 minutes later used it on all of my nails. Giving 2 stars only because of the nail tech that "fixed" my nails that the original tech was trying to send me home with. read more

I came the first time for a gel mani for my birthday and had 2 of my fingers cut deeply, which in hind sight should have sent me out the door immediately, but I was enjoying company and decided to stay. Within a week the gel was peeling off, so I foolishly decided to give a second chance for a dip powder.. I was cut AGAIN after warning the tech that it had happened the week prior, and then the powder was applied crazy thick after asking specifically for it to be thinner, and I was rudely ushered out with it stuck under every nail and all over my hands. Ridiculous. I thinned and shaped at home to avoid paying more for them to correct. The last time I went in was to have the powder polish removed and every employee cast dirty looks at me and did not speak to me for the 1.5 hours they had me sitting in a chair. When someone finally came to remove it they didnt speak to me, and used the dremel in such excess that over a month later my nails are still paper thin. Horrible horrible horrible read more

Sad to say, I am not 100% sure their equipment was sterilized and I don't know why I didn't just walk out based upon that alone. My clippers were just taken out of a box, not out of a little bag like at the station next to me. The nail file had dust in it, plus it was an acrylic nail file and I just have natural nails so it chewed down my nails so extremely low. Then while doing the massage on us they were more interested in watching what was on tv rather than paying attention to what they were doing. I am sure they could do the massage with their eyes closed, but it just showed how little they cared. After the polish was on, a little clean up was done on the surrounding skin, but there was still a lot left to clean up when I got home. The decor was ok, just your typical nail salon that is starting to show its age. So disappointed. read more

Of all the nail salons I've tried in Castle Rock, I think Marseille is my favorite. Their prices can't be beat, and I'm completely satisfied with the service! My nails look great for up to a week after, and I'm pretty hard on my hands...usually my manicures are looking shredded before that. The atmosphere isn't super luxe, but I don't need that; I'm more psyched about quality service at a bargain price than carved wood paneling and waterfalls. read more

I have to say I'm not impressed. Big minus for lack of sanitary procedures! Same gloves worn between customers, tools not sanitized. The language barrier is very evident and when you say "no" to something they try repeatedly to do it anyway. Towels and wax are extremely hot. I usually only come here when in a time pinch because it's just down the road from my house. Nail quality runs hot and cold but alot of the time service is poor. They have one technician that doesn't speak English well so she just grunts at you. And when you ask for a specific they often get confused, even after showing them a photo. read more

I've tried probably 10 different salons for my pink & whites. I finally found a place I LOVE! The owner did my nails and I will definitely be going back. He actually got them wide how I like and they last forever (minus the grow-out of course!)- he speaks passable English and is very kind. Just moved to Castle Rock. Every nail place that I checked reviews for had equal negative and positive comments, so I just picked this one , closest to me. The owner did my nails. He was very nice, gental, took his time, and consistently asked if the shape, color, and length suited me. My nails look lovely. The only thing I'm picky about is the extra acrylic that gets stuck underneath. Could have cleaned it out better but I'm sure if I asked he would have. Not bad! I love this place! So far, I can literally show up and have anyone in the salon do my nails - they do natural looking, NOT THICK (ew), nails. It's not noisy with loud talking & gossip between the employees like other salons - it's usually quiet outside of quick conversations. One thing though, they allow walk-ins, so if you have an appt, don't be surprised if they're 10-15 mins late - that would be my only gripe. read more
