Came in to browse around real quick but got sucked into the shoe section this time around. Good selection! It can be a hit or miss

Ceramic bowls and cups

This is my neighborhood Marshall's and I am always in love with what they have to offer! I have been there a plethora of times since becoming an HB resident 7 years ago. I have come here for everyday household things like brooms, towels, kitchen appliances, pots, pans, so many things to stock up a new home. Everything I've bought here has been brand new, I've loved them all, they have all lasted for years and I was able to pick them up at a much lower price than your staple stores like target. During my last visit, I was looking for Crème Shop face masks (made in Korea) and I totally scored! I was able to pick up 15 face masks (3 masks in each package) with the following characters: Piglet, Keroppi, Belle and Ariel. I really love these masks and so this was a total score for me - they are hard to find and at $5.99, they are a steal! I perused the ceramic bowl and cup aisles and totally fell in love with a Winnie the Pooh Mug and Tea Infuser set and another Winnie the Pooh mug that says "today is my new favorite day". I also found a whole bunch of gorgeous teacups with matching saucers including a Belle teacup that totally caught my eye that I HAD to come back and get, HAHA. At Marshall's, TJ Maxx, Ross, stores like this, it is hard to find the same thing twice, so if you like it, you gotta take it! I'm looking forward to coming back soon. Spring is right around the corner and more of those gorgeous custom teacups and saucers are calling my name If you're into holiday decor, athletic clothes, household goods, shoes, fashionable new clothes, workout gear, etc, Marshall's is your store! This location is always stocked up, pretty organized/clean and the employees are always in a great mood. Just an FYI - it can get pretty hectic/busy so plan to be patient in line a it can get pretty long.

I can't believe I'm reviewing a Marshall's but this is the WORST store I've ever been in. There is 0 organization, even in non-clearance sections. Nothing is organized by size, and the same items are no where near each other it's a total free for all and if you find something you like with a hanger that says it's your size, too bad because the hangers don't represent the size of the item hanging from it at all. Not to mention everything is dirty and marked up. Hands down this place is worse than any 2nd hand store I've ever been to.

This young woman at the checkout gave me an attitude when I told her what the price was of this random last-minute item I decided to get at checkout. I was getting around $60 worth of stuff. This particular item was missing a tag so I told her what the price was of the same exact item next to it when I saw it. It was one of those small items in the checkout line. She held up the line and made me wait so "the manager could check and verify". It said around $6.99 for the other one but she glared at me and said "no it's $10.99" I thought to myself there's no way this small item is $10.99. I asked her where she got that number since I had seen the other one and she made up some answer. "Oh see the little line?" No, I definitely do not. What? There's no way she could've seen that price on the ripped off tag. I took a photo as proof. I spend hundreds of dollars at this chain, do you really think I have time to lie about the price of some nail accessory? Not to mention the dismissive tone when I asked about rewards and if they're associated with TJ Maxx. I asked her "aren't they supposed to apply the rewards?" and she said "no. We don't have access to that" like it was the most obvious thing in the world. Pretty sure that's inaccurate because the survey I took later said the employees in fact ARE supposed to ask about rewards, which I should have plenty of considering how frequently I shop here and the fact that I have a credit card here. After all that, the manager ended up giving me the price I had mentioned it was anyway. Unbelievable. There are alot of these Marshalls in OC, the best is in The District. Go there, that one is alot more organized and cleaner, too. And you don't have to deal with employees with power complexes who obviously hate their job. Her cashier # was 1058 at the bottom of the receipt and it was around 7:45 on a Friday night. They don't have names on it so I'm not sure if that was her number but that's what it was on the receipt.

Over the last decade, streetwear has really come into its own- building up from brands like LRG, Obey, and Stussy into The Hundreds, Triumvir, and countless others. Avenue's been through all of that, and the minute you walk in, you get a feeling that these guys really ain't no joke. The folks at Avenue live the lifestyle and believe in the art- because of that, the stuff they carry is always fresh and legit. I remember stumbling into Avenue back in high school, trying to find a place to quench my LRG fix. The main man behind the register, Arthur, not only helped me with what I was looking for, but really took the time out to explain the finer points of streetwear. Every time I stop by, he's always there doing his thing, and mindful of stuff I'd be interested in that's already out or coming out soon. It's places like Avenue that really show what OC is all about- not all that pretentiousness you see on Laguna Beach. Avenue represents this drive for a changing culture that I wish more people could appreciate and acknowledge for what it's worth.

I like the ones in Hawaii and Florida. I think those stores had nice selection of merchandise. I was surprised how clean this store was. It also looked newer. Perhaps they maintain the store well? No because it's a direct reflection of the type of employee these folks are. On the other hand, is it absolutely maddening? Yes of course haha But that's when I kindly tell myself to take a seat because... it's Ross lol You go there for a value buy and to bargain hunt, not for customer service

There are signs but for me it's fun to go hunting and consider my daily workout.. the place is big, with big parking lot. The store is clean and well organized and with staff everywhere so if you need help, just ask one of them. Prices are reasonable and of course it's Target so they have almost everything for household essentials plus garden plus animals and seasonal holidays. Did the self checkout so easy and fast. Overall, enjoyed my time shopping here.

This is the WORST Target I've ever been to. Even the Targets in the "rougher" neighborhoods are…read morebetter than this one. The number one, biggest problem is, by far, their stock issues. I go in with a shopping list of 10 items and I'll be lucky to actually be able to leave with 5 of the products I need. This is all across the board - not a single department/section is immune to the almost completely bare shelves. Some examples: *The shelf compartments of makeup brushes - There are 20-30 different types of brushes on display. About 5 are actually available. And of those 5 different types, there's literally just ONE of each brush. The rest of the slots are completely empty. *Leggings/tights - the wall is, without exaggeration, appx. 75% empty. The extremely limited selection that DOES exist is of the only sizes L/XL. So if that's not your size, you don't get ANYTHING. *Kitchen tools/accessories - again, about 75% bare with no products. I could go on for every department. I really could. Oh - and half the time when their app/website says they have an item in stock, it's NOT actually in stock. And not just when it says there's ONE. No - the site will say there are 5 or 6 of a specific product (most recently, Downy Wrinkle Release is what I needed) and there are actually ZERO in stock. The employees are awful. If you are actually ABLE to find someone to ask for help, they act like a deer in headlights or just flat out annoyed that they have to actually help a customer. And 90% of the time they can't answer my question anyway. If I ask where an item is located, the answer is usually "Yeah... I'm not sure...." When it comes to the cashiers, there are a few that are actually pretty polite and efficient, but the majority of them have the same annoyed attitude as the employees on the floor. Half the time they don't even say "Hi." If you have to return something and go to customer service, be prepared to stand at that counter for a good while with no one behind it. And while you're standing there waiting for someone to notice you, at least 5 employees will walk by - go behind the customer service area, then come back out, and they won't say a word or acknowledge you in any way. I get that those employees are probably not customer service, but they COULD at least say "Let me get someone to help you out." Nope. That would be asking waaaaaay too much. Awful store. Awful service. But I could honestly deal with all the other crap if they at least HAD ANYTHING IN STOCK EVER. Typical corporation that's gotten too big for its britches and doesn't give a rat's a$$ about the customers that are that reason for its existence and success.

The few times I've had an issue, they took care of it right away. - The prices are reasonable for most items. - The selection is wide.
