I wonder how these fail employees even got a job at Marshalls because there are millions of other people in this world that don't have a job & can do better then these idiots. I'm just curious how did they get a interview when they are so stupid. Fact - 90% of the employees in Marshalls don't have a High School diploma or GED. I just met the weirdest cashier today (and trust me, this is not the first time I shop at Marshall's, so...). She started asking me to apply for the TJX card that I already have, so I said I already have one. Then she told me if I do not use it for a while, I can just re-apply for another one. I was like, but I use it all the time. Then she said "Oh, I was just trying to help you." with a disappointing look. (How does telling me to apply for a card that I'm already using all the time helping me?!?) Then she started checking out my items and she mentioned that one of the item (Bananagrams which is made of alphabet tiles) seemed heavy and she kept trying to check if I stuffed something else inside. For god's sake, it was an item that is totally sealed so you cannot even move the zipper but she still stood there to try to open it for like 3 whole minutes while keeps mumbling "oh what's this, cannot open this...". Then after she finally gave up, she checked out the rest of my items. She would say I have two items even I have four clearly. Then when I paid for it, I had the option to pick "e-mail and print receipt" or just "print receipt" so I picked "e-mail and print". Then she commented about why would anyone want it certain way (not sure what she was really saying) and asked if I was going to use my purchases. Then I realized I still have one item left in the shopping cart and asked her to ring me up again. Then this time around, I showed her the screen and said "I cannot choose just to have the receipt e-mailed" because I thought she was saying something about why I wanted my receipt printed earlier. Then she suddenly used her finger on the screen and chose "print receipt" for me without even saying anything. I was stunned. She is such a weirdo. I am thinking either she did not understand English or she was just rude enough not to care. Either way, that was the weirdest check-out moments! read more

A huge Marshall's with a furniture section. The shoes are usually a mess, the lotion/scent section and accessories well picked over and the clearance can be so jammed packed you can't move the hangers, but I can't always find a deal here. read more

Marshalls is where I drop by every time I visit the Great Mall. They have bunch of clearance all the time.

I like the shoes department and the accessories department here. So many cute brand names shoes at a fraction of the price. But you have to come when the merchandise are just displayed because the smaller sizes run fast. I like the brand of the hair products they have like Rusk and Sebastian. If I find a hair product that I like I always have a tendency to buy two since I know it might not come again and it's only a fraction of the price. I was able to buy a Lancome tanning spray for my legs twice. I was a little shocked when I first saw Lancome products here. I was thinking to myself, "Oh my gosh, Lancome products at Marshall? I'm all in!" I bought my hair cripper here too and it works great. This location has so many neat things to check out. You do have to dig through the merchandise because there are so many products but it is well worth it. read more

I love Marshall's! Well this Marshall's is the only one I've ever gone to but I shop here a lot. I almost always can find some cute top... although when my parents wash my clothes all my Marshall's tops get ruined because the tops here are not very wash friendly! Marshall's has definitely taught me this lesson and I'll be taking better care of my clothes from now on, so my cute tops from here can last longer! read more

Great Mall is not one of my favorite malls & this Marshalls seems to slightly messier than other Marshalls I've been to, but I think it's more frequented cause it's connected to the mall. It's like a Ross to me so you have to dig around to find a "treasure" and unfortunately I never really have the patient for that. I think the only things I've ever bought here was cooking ware. Marshalls is in my opinion the guys Ross. They have a good selection of Men's dress ware at good prices and that's what sets them apart. I can find the entire dress out fit here minus the shoes which I prefer to buy at Bass. My only complaint is I wish they would staff the registers a little better. Lines are too long. read more

I do enjoy shopping here, although Home Goods/TJ Maxx in Santa Clara is my favorite discount store. What I love about TJ Maxx and Marshalls is value for money, plain and simple. Also, this particular store has good customer service. There is a huge variety of goods on display, ranging from little girls' dresses to fine china (spotted lenox and ralph lauren) and gourmet pasta. :) I love the food/ housewares section and often buy these items as small gifts. They do have a large assortment of clothes and shoes but it's hard to find something that looks good AND fits well. Cheap basics can be found, like plain camis and tshirts. Nice luggage selection, including Heys and other fancy hardsided cases. Come in here on a weekday if possible, with a little time on hand and no fixed agenda. Some of my Marshalls acquisitions: a Batman tshirt, pale green serveware, striped bowtie pasta and... 'The Great Gatsby' by F. Scott Fitzgerald. :) read more

I've never been one to enjoy hunting for good clothing and prices. I have to admit, I shopped here today and I found almost everything I need for my upcoming trip to Mexico and the prices were great! Literally everything I bought was $14.99 and under. I bought 12 items and I spent a total of $139.39 with tax; not too shabby. I'm giving a two star rating for two reasons. First, The woman in the fitting room was very rude and began to scold every costumer who did not check in for a fitting room. I understand policy and doing your job, but she totally crossed the line with several costumers, myself included. Her tone and words were unacceptable and unprofessional. Another reason for a two star rating is because when I got home I noticed an item was missing. Of course I checked the car and surrounding area to see if it fell out. Nope. The cashier appeared a bit distracted and missed one of my essential items. This is a huge inconvenience and is very frustrating. read more

Buy something cheap - this location is good. Lots of shoes, dress, bag, and household goods. I mostly brought the showpieces from here - they are cheap but nice design. Prefer to check for $10 - $15 items. Dress are looks old - factory rejected most of the time. If you love shopping and roaming around other shops, this one should be in your list. read more

This place is great if you just want socks or underwears for cheap price or if you that guy that want to find cheap clothes or presents for you friend or girlfriend or family member. Be aware of the food or snack they sell cause some are over dated. read more

This one is connected to the mall (yuck I hate malls) and is pretty damn messy. Crowded obviously too. But they have some good sports bra selections. The dressing room is big and has great hooks and racks to hang items, I almost ran into 2 women leaving the fitting rooms, badly designed. Idk its marshals and I love a good bargain, I've seen better and it seems TJ maxx is always cleaner and has a bigger selection in general. Reminds me of a much more organized Ross store. I went in here to buy a gift for a friend, but ended up getting myself a couple cheap t-shirts that I saw on sale. They have a lot of common clothing brands such as under armor, nike, DC, and I particularly like their fitness clothing. Some items you can get for a good price, but then again I saw some price tags that were a bit ridiculous (mostly on jackets). I think that's where a store like Ross might have an advantage. Still, I like the selection a bit better here and the customer service isn't too bad either. Just wish it wasn't in the mall because it gets really crowded! read more

Okay, as a big fan and spender at Marshalls at any store, I must say that I was really disappointed finding out that all the rewards and purchase credit does not account on the TJX Rewards cards. (W-T-F) I should have researched it up myself, but I've had two counter ladies from different locations express that my points would rack up on the card and that I did not need the credit card I registered with. After finding out that I should've been using my credit card, I decided to "return" items based on receipt and "repurchase" (most of items) to allocate purchasing points toward my credit card. So I headed to this location with the complications with "returning", then "partial repurchasing". I was really satisfied with the customer service I received there. Manager lady (will get her name and update) was extremely helpful and explained the TJX program very well. She suggested how I may receive gift cards and special discounts with my usage. My annoying issue was resolved with immediate attention. Also, a great stop to check out at Great Mall before thinking on purchasing pricier yoga pants at Victoria's Secret or the fly shoes at Shoe Palace that you could find at a better bargain at Marshall's! Everything is fine with the store except for some of the tagalog-speaking female cashiers up front. They have a problem with their own tagging system. It's like there's some ad-hoc policy about their tags. If there's something on sale with a red tag, they may not honor it and tell you it's the wrong tag and will mark it back up. At that point, no, I don't want it. Maybe they want it for themselves. If you ever need to return something, they'll tell you it's the wrong tag and won't let you return it. Well, why didn't it come up when they rang it up? It's also best to keep your receipts separate rather than do return/purchases on one receipt because they'll expect you to keep a thread of your old receipts!! Customer service here is deplorable! It's only at this store though as I've never come across this in any of the other Marshalls. read more

Horrid customer service, bought a bag that during the transaction was found to be defective and went to look for the exact same bad which I knew they had. Found it and took for the exchange, keep in mind at this point my sister hasn't left the store or the counter and when I came back with the EXACT SAME BAG they said they couldn't price match because one was older, even though the previous one was defective and it was in fact the SAME BAG. Manager Rossana was no help at all and just proceeded to stay with crossed arms. Why would a manager even exist if they are no help at all? Bad customer service all around even at the exchange. Good thing Marshals has enough stores that I can skip this one or go to Burlington which is in the same mall. read more

Sorting through a somewhat disorganized store is somewhat tiring. But if you have some time on your hands and spend a little time here you can find some great deals on a lot of things. I bought a set of beautiful drapes here for 20.00. Something you'd buy at pottery barn for 200.00. I'm really into interior decorating and I find a lot of my home decor items here. Picture frames, lamps and bathroom accessories are plentiful here. read more

Hello there, I love Marshalls period. This particular Marshall's is customer friendly and is one of my favorites. I am always greeted and asked if I need help with something. The sizes are usually in order and I can almost always find my size in most all clothing. Which is a size 4. I never have to wait long in line either, even when there is a long line the customer service attendants are fast and friendly! I however, do not mind waiting in line at Marshall's because everything I buy there is worth the wait. read more

we were there 15 mins before they close to get some toys, at 9pm they turned off some lights. the lady worked there yell from a distant "hey, excuse me, we are closing", I look at her, then she yell again, "we are closing, they turn off the lights", I was looking for hubby, I found him in the men's section, the lady followed me there, and said again "we are closing, check out is in the back"....and just stand right next to my hubby waiting for him to go pay.. very rude, never been treat like that. say it once is enough... read more

I absolutely love this store, mostly because of the customer service. I came here looking for a gift for a Secret Santa Exchange and found the PERFECT tea cup/saucer/pot set. The only problem? Some bozo thought jamming the lid back in place was the way to fix it. Luckily, I was met with the Heaven-sent angel named Evony who fought and fought with the little cermaic (aka DELICATE) lid of the teapot. She even checked the back for another and, while she was away, I was able to finally lift the lid right off (of course after much of her tinkering with it). I was so very impressed by her customer service skills and how she went the extra mile to assist me all the way to check-out. She is a star employee and the company should be proud to have a girl like her working for them! It's this kind of dedication and service that brings me back to the store time and time again! Before when I thought of Marshalls, I thought of old people clothing or I didnt think that their stuff would be to my liking. But anyway, I decided to give this place a chance, and I am really glad I did. Their clothes are cheap and their quality is pretty good. (Stores like demasque, papaya, wetseal, f21 are overpriced and their items have bad quality). At marshalls, you can get the in style clothes like sheer button ups for 13 dollars instead of $20-30 at other stores like f21. I wanted to buy many things there, but i didnt have the money to , so i just bought a chiffon blush colored dress with a cool cut out on the back for 20 bucks that would probably be 30-40 bucks elsewhere. Another great thing about Marshalls is that they sell designer shoes, purses, perfume... Etc for a discounted price. If youre looking for a place for cute clothes, good quality, and cheap price, come to marshalls. I did not give this place 5 stars because i felt like i was in a thrift shop. There is like 1-3 of the same clothing pieces and you would have to dig for clothes. Their clothes are organized into sizes- not style- which is helpful, but frustrating sometimes because i would see a really cute dress- not in my size and its pretty likely that is the only size they got. Overall, great store if youre on a budget , but still desire quality and trendy clothes. read more

it IS a high class goodwill store, but the stuff is new. mostly last seasons unsold and discontinued styles. prices are reasonable, though. but be careful what you buy. they told me they dont do exchanges, so you have to return your item, then re-buy what you want to exchange it for.okay place to shop on a budget, but beware! they have at least 2 filipino transexual/transvestites working here. read more

Many thanks to the team at the Marshalls in Milpitas mall, my husband and I were in the store, my husband said I'm going to the mens dept. and I was going to houseware when our 4 yr old son wanted to go with his dad so I called to dad here come our son, watch him reach hubby so I went to shop, 30 later met up with hubby who didn't have our son. He said he thought he was with me and I thought he was with him. I went to the CS who called the mgr on walkie, meanwhile took what my son was wearing, Mgr asked how long missing, stood with me by the door, mgr told team amber alert, team members went to all doors no was let in or out explained to customer why so one would be mad. Mgr had someone check cameras and saw what happened. Our son changed his mind and went looking for me when he saw the bottom shelf with towels and laid down and fell asleep. Team member brought him to me. WOW Manager had his team do all this in less then 10min. My son now 17, I thank the Mgr and his team for being prepared for the worst. read more
