This is where I admit to having a minor shopping addiction. You see, I love to cook and Marshalls is like my little treasure hunt spot for kitchen gadgets, pots, pans, knives etc. You never know what will turn up on the shelves but if you see something you think you like you'd best grab it buck-o or it will be gone when you come back. I scored a killer copper pot on my last visit for $24.00! That is pretty dang cheap for copper cookware. I've also suffered major dissapointment by not grabbing the natural cottonwood cheese board. grrr. Such is the law of Marshalls. Buy now or die! read more

Great marshals it's in San Pedro Way better than the other ones. They have more modern clothing than the rest of the marshals I've been too. Not too busy and they have a lot of major brands. I love shopping at this place. The staff is really friendly and helpful. read more

At sometimes they have very nice Shoes, Shirts, Pants, Kitchen wear, Women's clothing and ugly Panties my Female wanted to get. This store is busy depending on time you come here. After having visited several Marshall's it's clear that this one is My Marshall's! The team has done a great job keeping the store organized and clean. It's a great environment to shop in. Customer service: I can not express my gratitude and the relief I get after being helped by Carmen. She is always very helpful and friendly. Carmen is a double edge sword for me because she knows the products but then I leave with more then I should. I have literally used everything she has ever sold me. I have also lowered my stress with these coloring books she recommended. Location: near major streets easy to get to and from Plenty of eateries and movies in the same Plaza. This specific Marshalls location has a small selection for women's clothing. Every time I come to this one, I only end up finding maybe 2 cheap shirts tops, which are exact ones that I could find at Ross, and I despise going to Ross. When I came here to exchange a gift given to me for Christmas last night, it was a huge mess there. Things were out of order, in wrong places, the sizes were all wacky. I ended up finding an adorable shirt on a size small hanger, only to find that the shirt was actually large. The line was a nightmare too. I understand it is during the time that people are exchanging gifts, like I was, but I think they should hire an extra person to go fix that mess. read more

I was shopping tonight and I overheard what seemed to be the floor manager named Rhonda, talking very rudely to Givanna. Rhonda had a very rude and bitchy attitude towards her co-worker. She wasn't letting Givanna speak unless it was something Rhonda wanted to hear. Also having such a hostile attitude with someone you work with is DISGUSTING AND INAPPROPRIATE. It was so uncomfortable to watch. People need to understand you can manage and treat others like a human being. Retail workers aren't robots! Get off your high horse ma'am. Givanna was so sweet and offered to help my family and i. We had a conversation about how well she works. I then realized I probably slowed down her work and she might get in trouble by Rhonda. Givanna also got called to back up at the front registers while i was in line. I shouldn't feel like i got an employee in trouble because i needed her help. Coach your floor managers. This is one of the nicest Marshalls I've shopped at.. It's in RPV on Western in a nice strip mall. I've been going there about once a week since it opened and have only had a couple of bad experiences ....they weren't with the store employees, they were with rude people shopping there, and fortunately there are very few of them. Me and my friends are very grateful to the staff there that they keep the store clean, quiet and a pleasant place to shop, unlike Ross down the street. If you want to let your children run through the store yelling, ripping things off the shelves and running into customers, Go to Ross. If you want to come in with an attitude and ram other shoppers with your cart, argue with the staff working the floor and use foul language.. Go to Ross. Also. Marshalls along with other stores have stopped allowing people to bring their dogs in the stores. It's a store..not a puppy park. I saw a small dog off his leash.. pee on the floor, break a vase, and drool all over a blouse...Even though people were complaining to the manager and an employee had to clean up the broken glass.. The woman proudly allowed her dog to do whatever it wanted to. So.. If you want to take your dog shopping with you..Go to Ross. Or not. I've noticed their not putting up with dog owner bullies any more either!!! If you want to enjoy shopping in a very organized, clean store with friendly checkers and a lot of beautiful items for your home...beautiful clothes, shoes and purses etc Check out this store. I have been shopping in Marshalls for many years and It has been one of my favorite stores. However today I had a very disappointing experience with this specific Marshalls location and will never recommend it again! Here is why: I found a white dress that I really liked but it was the last one in my size and it had a stain. The cashier offered me 10% off if I bought the dress as is (final sale). I was not interested in doing that. Then she checked with someone else, came back and said that I could take the tags off, try to clean it and if it did not work out I could return it. I was a bit hesitant (it was not a cheap dress), but she assured me it would be no problem to bring it back. She even wrote a note on the tag explaining what she told me. I bought the dress and it did not work out. I brought it back with the receipt and the tag but to my surprise the manager Katherine told me that she was not going to allow me to return it! I showed her the note that the cashier wrote and tried to explain what happened, but she abruptly cut me off and said: "No, I will not take it back!" As I tried explaining again what I was told she was literally shoving the dress back towards me! She was quite rude and I walked away as I did not want to make a scene. It was a very upsetting experience! I would expect a lot more integrity and professionalism from a Marshalls store manager! read more

Customer service here sucks ! I had a bad experienced with one of the employees and she dared almost take something out of my childs hands. I got my baby and told her im buying that , seriously was stalking my brother and my friend the whole time and at the end was very rude. I had made a review like 5 months ago and im pretty sure they deleted it so here it is again. If I could rate this 0 stars I would !!! And if they keep deleting my comment im just going to keep posting it. It's thats simple, and beware alot of their products are damaged including the makeup. The quality of the clothes is so much better than Ross, the store is always clean and orderly and the aisles aren't cramped. They also have a wide selection of home items too, from sheets to seasonings. The parking lot gets crowded on Tues. & Thurs. because the movie theater has discount tickets on those days. This review if for the Manager Maria who was very rude and unprofessional. Today I went to this Marshall's to exchange a purse since I had misplaced the receipt. Before even browsing through the store I went up to the registers and asked the first employee I saw a question. Instead of answering my question the first thing she did was ask if I had a receipt. I told her I did not and wanted to exchange or get store credit. You could already tell that she was in a bad mood and seemed bothered since the moment I approached her. Long story short, if she in fact is the manager than the way she spoke to me and handled the situation was very rude. I've been a Marshall's customer for years and this if the first time and employee has spoken to me the way she did. The worst part is the her tone of voice was high and she kept on speaking to me in this manner in front of other employees and customers. This review is for the manager's lack of customer service. I purchased my Son a pair of shoes to wear to a wedding. Unfortunately, the threading began to come off after wearing them for about a couple of hours. I figured they were just a manufacture defect, so I took them back to the store to exchange them for the same model shoe or for something else. I had no clue that the defective $16.99 pair of shoes would be such a big deal! After speaking with THREE different employees about the issue with the shoe, the manager, KATHY, finally came to speak with me. She said there was nothing she could do for me. She said that I could go to the store where I purchased them and see if they could help, if they sold them to me like that. Ummm.....let me explain...AGAIN, that they weren't purchased like that....etc, etc, but she wouldn't listen. She again said I could try to take them back to the store I bought them if they sold them to me like that. This woman wouldn't listen to what I was saying! What if I would've purchased the shoes in a store in another state. Am I to TRY and take them back to rhe store where I purchased them?? The other employees had already printed the tag for the return and had brought it to the register, but apparently, the manager decided not to help me with the issue. NEVER had I experienced such disregard as a customer.....and for $16.99?!?! KATHY said there was nothing she could do regarding my issue.....store policy.....she said. Good luck if you have any issues with defective merchandise, if you go to this store. The store manager, KATHY, doesn't care, is unprofessional, and just walks away with the look on her face like you're no one. I worked on retail for over 20 years, was a manager myself, and never treated anyone like that. I called corporate customer service and they said I could go back to the store, as she was about to call KATHY and speak with her about the issue, and perhaps get her to exchange the item for me. I've been looking for a large mirror to hang in my living room for quite some time now. Today I went to Marshalls and found one that I though would be perfect. All their mirrors come with corner protectors and I couldn't see anything wrong with it without removing protectors right there at the store so I picked it up and decided to purchase it. I carried it very carefully made sure it never touched the ground let alone drop!! Upon removing the protectors I noticed last corner was completely shattered. So ofcourse I headed back to the store to find a replacement and return that one. Unfortunately that was the last one in that color so I didn't find one but still wanted to return the broken one. After waiting for a very long time in line ( I wont even address this issue cause it's irrelevant at this point) the cashier called the manager who refused to take the item back accusing me of dropping it. Let me tell you one thing as a manager of a large company myself I have never been more appalled by someone holding that title. She was completely rude wouldn't even let me finish a sentence, asked to take me to see rest of the mirrors to show how " well protected" they are....? It's not the money, it is never about money its about this woman who calls herself MANAGER that has horrible people skills and is utterly unethical! I would have settled with " I'm sorry ma'am but our policy is the way it is..." instead " looks like YOU dropped it.." I won't even write her name down because it doesn't matter. I will call the main office and file a complaint just because she accused me of breaking it. This review is solely regarding Kathy, one the managers. ( I love this Marshalls and come here often) Kathy is SO rude. I noticed a dog in a car with the windows rolled up, it was also around 75-80 degrees outside, so I decided to ask if she could make an announcement hoping someone would return to the car and at least roll the windows down. The first thing she says to me is "do you really think that person will listen to the announcement?" I was polite and responded with, "well it doesn't hurt to try!" I told her the make and model of the car and when she made the announcement she said the wrong make of Car! I'm pretty sure she wasn't listening to much of what I told her. I then witnessed her be a complete bitch to another customer who was there because the hairspray his wife had bought was missing the plastic piece that makes it spray. A few of the other cashiers were talking crap about him saying "why can't he just pay the $1 we are charging him for it?" Why she he have to pay a dollar in the first place? It's not his fault, nor his wives, that the bottle was missing the spray piece! Kathy was so rude to him and didn't make eye contact with him at all. Nor with me. I heard Kathy talking to another customer who happened to be talking to her to complain about her attitude. I could hear the sass and attitude in her voice as well as her making no eye contact.
