I also love that it's easy to make returns here from Nordstrom.com, with a free in-store return for eligible items (some exceptions), which is especially convenient now that the Nordstrom in Escondido is closed. I frequent this location because it's accessible, well-organized, and I always leave happy with my purchases. It's one of my favorite spots for both browsing and snagging great finds. I'll definitely keep coming back! It's free to join the Nordy Club, no points at Rack, but you get seasonal discounts, a birthday perk, 5% off with a Nordstrom card, plus bonus coupons and early sale access. Shopping center is right in front of Costco, and has Kohl's, plus tons of restaurants and smaller shops. Be in the watch for people doing crazy stuff, because they aren't paying attention. Larger than the Walmart in Escondido, with a slightly different selection. I have to come here when my location is out of stock on something. But they don't carry some of the food that Escondido does, even though they have a larger selection. Lots of self-checkout stations, although they often close a few down to limit the number of people scanning at one time. I had an issue with a coupon on a product not scanning, and the the employee overseeing the self-check was very helpful.

A few moments later, another employee (male Asian) approached me and asked if I could wait until they finished stocking before looking at the toys. He told me it was "disrespectful" to browse while they were working, and his tone came across as rude and confrontational. I explained that I wasn't the only customer browsing in the aisle, as several other shoppers were there as well. I was surprised because I was simply shopping during normal business hours. I don't understand how browsing merchandise in an open store could be considered disrespectful while employees are stocking shelves. I've never had this experience at any other Target location. At other Target stores, employees are usually friendly and even ask if I need help while continuing to stock the shelves. If it's important for employees to stock shelves without customers nearby, it would make more sense to do so during closing hours or at less busy times. I hope management reviews this incident and reminds employees to treat customers with courtesy and professionalism. Shopping during regular business hours should never make customers feel unwelcome.

The parking can be a bit of a nightmare almost any day, because it's in a plaza with several other popular businesses, one of which is a Target in very close proximity. If you don't go first thing in the morning, it's going to be pretty busy and hard to get up close parking especially during holidays. The makeup area is one of the areas that can get a bit messy, and people are constantly opening and trying items, and leaving empty boxes. They finally started locking up some of the more popular brands which I'm glad about. However there are a few that they hardly ever lock up but should, like Pat McGrath. Ive found numerous empty boxes of their lipstick. They get new inventory pretty often, but as to be expected there is often limited sizing or numbers of pieces. I do find some great deals and quality items on my visits though.

Okay the store its self is clean and has some cute items, However..... The staff was pretty rude to me. I bought a pair of shoes and that same day wore them and they started ripping/loosing gems. I went back in with my receipt and asked if i could exchange for a pair that wasnt defective or just exchange. They pulled up my receipt and said the shoes wern't on there that it was a Sku for something else...I had only bought those shoes there that day, and have never shopped there before. It had the right date and amount. So after talking with them and telling them the girl ringing me up a few hours earlier must have scanned another same priced item because she couldnt find the sku on them or something like that. Then After dealing with that they looked at the bottom of the shoe and said no this has been worn longer than just a day..They really made me feel like a liar. All and all not worse a pair of cheaply made shoes. read more

And a lot of people eat after they shop, so watch out for carts parked everywhere. The rest of the warehouse is similar to the smaller locations, but each has its own layout inside. They don't seem to get the specialized items that some locations do, but they have all the standard items.
