The assortment of apparel on the men's side is good, but I wish they carried a couple more items. The service is great tho. I hope they create a better system for returns because I should have been directed to customer service or even just been assisted by anyone to make a return. I picked the item up via curbside, but realized immediately it wasn't right and returned it to the store within minutes of it being brought to my car. While the necklace refund was processed, the jewelry department supervisor refused to refund the protection plan. She told me I had to call an "800 number" found in my email receipt to get my money back. I checked my email thoroughly; neither a company name nor a phone number was listed anywhere. After I insisted multiple times, she finally made a call and gave me a number for the insurance, but not yhr name of the company. When I called the company (Asurion) the next day, they informed me that they cannot process an immediate refund. Instead, I have to send an email request and wait for them to mail me a physical check. This is absolutely unacceptable. A warranty should be automatically cancelled and refunded the moment the product is returned to the store. Save yourself the headache and do not buy their protection plans online. Once they have your money, they make it as difficult as possible to get it back.

Today, there were only a few department stores left. Today, I went to revisit this so-called department store with a high expectation. One big problem I have with this JC Penney is the signage. I was clueless as where they put men's clothes. Unlike Macy's and other department stores, there are signs at the escalator as which floor sells what. But not this one. I walked all over the women's department and decided to try 2nd level. Bummer. Men's department only filled half of floor space. Not much to shop there, except the clearance aisles. After my initial navigation, I think I remember where is what on the 2nd level. I will return when I need something fancy.

I found it on the website after questioning my own memory of events. I, myself, and my husband have both worked in retail in the past, so I understand being both an employee and a customer. I couldn't 100% hear and the woman assisting me still didn't speak so the woman next to her explained that since the items have to match, I can't return in store. I said that's fine, my other item is exactly what I ordered, but didn't fit so I am returning it. I handed over the bag that it came in (delivered last night) and the receipt. The woman then decided to speak and said "we need a receipt"...even though I have handed it to her. I said this is the receipt and she responded "yea that's what we need" and glared. Ok. lol. She glanced at the dress, glanced at me, glanced at the receipt and said the numbers don't match. The numbers do match. I said yes they do match and she said they don't without looking to check her error and at this point I don't feel like dealing with her vibe so I grabbed my items and repeatedly said thanksssss while she tried to tell me they do not match and as I left the store they laugh as if something was funny. If she was confused say that but as soon as I had said a return she didn't want to help. I don't appreciate causing a scene and being rude for nothing and I'll likely drive 15 miles out of my way than to deal with childlike behavior.

I bought it a month ago this week for a business trip because my last luggage I bought from Burlington lasted 10 years and the wheels started wearing down. Now they won't be fair. Be careful what you buy and if it is malfunctioned or is damage, they will not return it is you happed to use it. Well how the HELL else are you going to know if it damaged.
