I love shopping at Marshall's. I do wish they had one closer to Grand Blanc. They always have a great selection of shoes and clothes.

This place isn't far from me, yet I never knew this place was here at all. I have been inside this shopping complex multiple times too. It's on the other side of Walmart, also another place I haven't been to here, yet. Found some no show socks for my hubby. I also found a cute hunter green dress for romping around on the weekends and a green flowy top too. All for under $70. read more

Received my bowls completed broken into pieces when mailed to my home. The bowls were just in a cardboard box and absolutely no wrapping to protect them. I went store 101425 and the manager aggressively stated "I cannot accept that it's completely broken." I was in awe that not only were my items completely shattered but the customer service from the manager was utterly disappointing and shameful. She said "what do you want me to do with this? I can't sell this in my store," and kept putting the responsibility on me as the customer. She would be familiar with store policies, I had to show her the slip with the policy on the back and prove that I could return an online purchase in store. She's the reason I won't be back. read more

HELPFUL STAFF This is the first Marshalls that i've been to and i will be going back a few more times. This is very organized and easy to find things, not to mention all of the cute last minute house items that i found. I really don't like searching for things but this Marshalls made it so easy for me to navigate all of the house goods. read more

5 stars for the staff! I don't know what it is about Marshalls, but every single one I've ever gone into has just the best staff. Most of the people working there seem to genuinely enjoy working in retail. If they don't, they certainly do not let their frustration show, even at the busiest times of year. Onto the store itself. For being located in a relatively high income and high traffic area, this marshals quite honestly sucks. The clothing section is embarrassing. There aren't any high end options - and no elegant / cocktail attire sections (there's a few dresses from multiple seasons clumped together to "make up" for it). The shoe section is rarely anything good - most of the same quality shoes can be found at Target. The beauty section is the real reason I go to this location. In the past the make up and face care sections have been top-notch. However, this is recently changed. The section was re-organized and now an abundance of stock is kept locked up I mean an abundance. Essentially anything worth looking at is in a glass case. Which means if you want to look at things, you have to call a sales person over and make them stand there while you pull out the 22 different items you want to actually look at. I understand deterring theft, however, for the shoppers that want to buy things this deter purchasing. I don't go to Marshalls to wait 15 minutes for someone to help me buy an eyeshadow palette. The decoration section is always spot on here. If you need holiday decorations, this is definitely a great location to go to. The purses located at this store are typically low end for the area. There's an abundance of Kate Spade and Michael Kors. However, there is rarely any coach bags or anything worth actually purchasing. A lot of Patricia Nash. It ends up at this store so if you're a fan of those bags, this may be a location where you can snag a sick deal. Most people do not buy these bags in this area. I'm not entirely sure why, Patricia Nash is a fantastic brand of leather and has unique styles. Hint for anybody that's into them. Anyway, I guess my point is I used to go to Marshalls to relax and buy a bunch of shit I don't really need. But now that the shit I don't really need is locked up, it dissuades me from buying it. I go to this Marshall's a lot because it is close to my work and has decent selection. I go here for presents mostly and I rarely find something for myself shoes or clothes wise. The shoe and clothing section is usually messy and all over the place. I don't have the patience to dig through all this stuff but if you have the patience then you will find the deals. There is a small section in the back of the store for the home such as bedding, décor, and bath. Holiday stuff is hit or miss but if you dig then you can find some great stuff. Furniture not so much of a selection (go to Home Goods for this). Lots of good gift giving products for the holidays - stocking stuffers and other tables are sectioned off by price (perfect for white elephants gifts). A ton of toys/presents for kids that were spread all over the store for the holidays. Layaway is in the back left corner of the store. Usually there are a good amount of cashiers and the lines go fast. But today it was in the morning on a weekday and only one cashier with about 6-8 people in line. No one jumped on to help her but there were store associates in the aisles. The cashier was friendly though but I give her credit with not one helping her. I also appreciate the ledge when you check-out in order to set your purse or other stuff down. read more

This chain department store, which is part of the TJMaxx family of stores, offers nice discounts on major brand name items. This store has a heavy emphasis on Women's wear but also has baby wear, girls wear, mens wear, shoes, limited kitchen merchandise, some luggage, some Pet merchandise and some limited home decor/furniture. If you're looking for some new clothes in particular from the well known brand names/fashions than you definitely should check out this store especially if you are a value conscious shopper. The other non clothing merchandize seem to offer good deals as well but with much less selection to choose from and will be kind of more hit and miss than the clothing. Overall four stars based on quality and value of the merchandise. read more

I've been to this Marshalls a few times. I'd probably give it a 3 or 4 star overall rating, but today it gets 3 from me because it didn't really have what I needed. I was looking for a Christmas present for my bf, who I've been dating for a month (what do you get someone you've only dated a month?!) ... he has no scarf or gloves so I was looking for one of those. I did purchase a nice scarf for $9.99 but their selection was woefully limited - there was literally ONE table up front with them. They had a bigger selection of gloves but I couldn't find any I wanted, and all of the hats looked pretty small - I myself have a big head (lol) and tried some on and they didn't fit. They look to have a nice selection of other stuff though, I browsed through housewares a bit. This location is pretty close to me (and closer than TJ Maxx) so I'd probably stop in again if looking for something specific. read more

I'm an RN in Detroit and I dread going shopping during the pandemic. Marshall's was absolutley wonderful and I felt safe shopping there. A staff member at the door was cleaning carts and counting the number of people that came in. There were wipes and hand sanitizer available. All staff were wearing masks and were patient and helpful. Kudos to Marshall's for doing everything they can to ensure the safety of their staff and customers. read more

No matter what I go in looking for, I come out with something else I found that I had to have. Today I went in looking for kids' sheets and toddler shoes but walked out with a new purse, two books, and some storage containers. There's always a nice assortment of stuff to browse, though some areas get a bit crazy messy and picked through. All other times I've been here the lines have been short, but today when there was a sudden huge line (reaching outside the corral) they immediately called two backup cashiers and the line quickly disappeared. They get definite kudos for that. Overall, a fun place to browse and shop that I would recommend. read more

I love Marshalls. & this location does not disappoint. I found an amazing pair of booties for $14. I also found lots of amazing clothes for a reasonable price. This is why I love this place. This location is a bit far from my place, but I like to make the drive. It is not as crowded as the other locations. They also have lots of great furniture on clearance. Definitely stop by if you are in the area. It is also conveniently located between Walmart and Dollar Tree. You can run multiple errand at once. read more

I'm not afraid to admit I shop here. If I am trying to get something quick and have no care what so ever as to what I look like... it's a fair option. A good example of this is a swimsuit for the gym. You know that the suit won't stay nice from all the chlorine, and do you really need to look hot for the gym? Unless you have a thing for senior citizens, I think you're safe. Best buy I picked up from Marshalls? Temporary knuckle tattoos spelling out "band geek". What is not to love about name brand items at half price? I'd have a lot of luck at this particular location, I usually leave with more than what I truly need (dangerous). Like today I went with my friend for her to pick up a gift and I left with a rug, front door mat and clock all for less than $50. Bargain hunters rejoice! Shun the Walmart next door and instead come prowl around Marshalls for a bit! True, half the time you may leave sorely disappointed, but on those days when you score an AMAZING deal, it makes it all worth it! Marshalls reminds me most of an "upscale" (said with some sarcasm) Big Lots. You can score a king-size Eddie Bauer down comforter for $40...which I have. You may also confront expired perfume and some ugly-ass clothing that hurts your eyes. Hey, you want to find the goods, you have to be willing to work to do so! I would most recommend Marshalls for homewares/goods...I found my trusty Henckels French knife there years ago for about 80% off retail, and it's my go-to for sheets, comforters, towels, etc. Shoes and clothes, not so much. But much like the SalArmy Boutique, arrive with patience and time, and you'll probably be rewarded in the long run. read more

Every light was on at registers but 2 were there for service I watched two people leave when they saw the line . My turn I said to the girl they needed to turn off some register lights it was a little deceiving that they were losing customers. I've had great success at this Marshalls location, guys, well discerning fashion concious guys you might wanna check this one out. Get ready to dig a litttle bit tho, the deals are never just in you're face, nor are they always in the right place so you might have to thumb thru the regular priced merchandise too. I've managed to scope thru any Marshalls in a flash. The messiness doesnt bother me, because Im only checking out key spots and I only buy things normally if they have a clearance sticker on them. If I do find something that I like on clearance, I always try to find another one of the same things because most of the time the other item is always less expensive. Watch out! They will rip you off if you're not careful. Because, the lower price doesnt come up at the register. If you want both items, take them up to the register and usually they will sell you the items for the same lower price, but glance at skew numbers to make sure that they are the same. Sometimes they will make a big deal out of that and try to tell you a bullshit lie about this product comming in before that one. I've managed to find great prices on mens designer underwear like Rips, 2xist, Diesel, Cin2, One, Ralph Lauren, Gant, Lucky brand.. Sometimes two in a pack within the $3- $10 range. Right, I know I have a knack for finding great deals, all my friends are jealous. Designer jeans, and I'm not talking Buffalo, and Calvin Klien, thats not high end or designer to me. I'm talking selvedge denim like RRL, Unbranded, and I've even found some Big Star jeans in the $10- $35 range. No cut tags, crossed out tags, nothing irregular about them. ( I dont buy anything from them thats like that) I've also found really soft Tee's by brands like Drifter, Aqua VI, BC Ethic, Local Celebrity... well made stuff for around $10. Occassionally there are shoes, but, I've never been to impressed w/ that. Its a go to place to find Converse's if thats your thing. I've also seen an occassional Diesel shoe, or a Cole Haan chukka. Guys if you have huge feet, I'm forever seeing gigantic shoes in sizes like 15s and 16s. This is also a great spot for Dog Treats and toys, tea's, room sprays, candles, shampoo's, bodywash, and headphones.. you'll find some randomness, you just never know from week to week what you'll find. read more

Everything concerning Marshalls itself was perfectly fine, but one of the women working in the fitting room is really rude. She kind of ruined my day and I felt like crap afterward. It was just unnecessary. She didn't even look up at me when I first got there, just pointed the way to go, and then when I left she treated me like a 5 year old.
