We just had the best Branzino, maybe ever!!! Marsten's is known for breakfast but don't miss dinner! They offer a terrific wine list, but the house Chardonnay is also good and a generous pour. I LOVE this place!! This is my favorite place for brunch. We have so few good restaurants in Santa Clarita and Marston's is a gem!! The food is so delicious too! I always get either the breakfast ciabatta sandwich or the Works French toast. They're both sooo delicious I've gotten great service every time I go too which really makes the experience so much better. I love the look of their restaurant inside and out but sitting inside during busy hours can be difficult bc it gets SO LOUD inside with everyone talking loudly... it just becomes too much. I had a very disappointing experience due to the rudeness of our server with the sleeve tattoos. I grew up going to the Pasadena location, so I was looking forward to the Valencia location. Definitely won't go back due to her dismissive and condescending attitude in the way she spoke to our table. She's defintiely the career server type disgruntled she's still serving tables in her late 50's. Please remember you work in the hospitality industry and shouldn't be so rude to people for asking simple questions. We were so excited to meet friends here today for brunch. SADLY the food was not good. Very disappointed as we've been coming here for years. It has changed. I also ordered a cup of chili before my meal. They brought it out 2 minutes before my meal after I had to ask for it. Half frozen sour cream ball which when mixed into the chili made it very cold.
