I went in to pick them up and the problem wasn't solved. The arms/legs of the glasses were still loose and charged me $200 and did not document what they replaced or fixed. I indicated that they didn't solve the problem and was not happy. They said glasses were fine as they replaced the bridge. I asked them if they did a full assessment of the glasses, and they "said" they replaced the bridge. I said I cannot wear them because they are loose and still flimsy. How do you charge someone but don't fix the problem? I will be filing with the better business bureau especially since I'm a senior. Very Dissatisfied Customer.

Routine exam, picked out frames and tech support measured the lenses. During the year my husband continued to visit the optical department because something was not right. The frames continued to be adjusted and his vision got worse. We finally went to an ophthalmologist who told us there were no prisims in his lenses! We took the new prescription back to Meijer Optical and after checking with the district manager there was nothing they could do. No attempt to correct the wrong lenses, no apology for the inconvenience, no refund for giving us the wrong prescription... nothing. This is not what we expected. My husband had no idea the prisim was missing he trusted the professionals. We are sorry we went there and more sorry that we would never be able to trust their optical department for their lack of professionalism. Word to the wise...if your glasses don't feel right make them check everything until you are completely satisfied....your vision is very important.

I wanted to return both pair, but they would not give me a refund for the lenses! Only refunded me for the frames. Even when I could not see out of them. I had been to another eye dr about a year ago, and when the glasses didn't work, they refunded in full. I guess with a new office, they need the money.....
