The deep tissue is definitely not your "relax and fall asleep" kind of massage -- it's more of a true deep tissue massage where she really gets in there and works out the knots. I walked in carrying a ton of tension and walked out feeling like my shoulders had finally unclenched for the first time in forever! What's crazy is she's tiny, but so strong and relentless when it comes to getting those knots out. Don't let the size fool you -- she will find every tight muscle you didn't even know you had... and probably a few you were hoping she wouldn't find. The place itself is clean and has a nice atmosphere. It's not a luxury spa-type place, but it's comfortable and welcoming. If you carry a lot of stress or muscle tension and want someone who actually works things out, Queen is amazing and I highly recommend her.

Found this place through social media after seeing how highly rated and recommended it was. Queen…read morewas incredibly accommodating and even fit me in a day earlier than scheduled. Now...her style is not for the weak. She will get every knot out of your back and release tension throughout your entire body, and sometimes that requires full-on pressure that not everyone can handle. That said, you can absolutely ask her to go lighter, she's very attentive and will tailor the pressure to your comfort. In my opinion, she's perfect for blue-collar workers who are on their feet all day, caregivers, nurses, athletes, and regular gym-goers who truly need relief. She knows exactly what she's doing and is deeply in tune with her work. I felt immediate relief after my Swedish hot stone massage. The pressure was intense at times, but I breathed through it and didn't ask her to go easier because I knew my body needed it. I did notice a previous review mentioning bruising..this can be normal with deep tissue work, but again, communication is key and she will adjust to your preference. Thank you, Queen T! you are a gem.

Parking is fine with three spots in front of the business and more areas to park on the sides. It did not seem like a busy area and parking does not seem to be an issue here. Amanda asked me if there were any areas she should focus on and also let me know I could let her know if I needed her to adjust the pressure. I've been getting massages in the San Jose area for years and Amanda is the first masseuse to ever ask me those questions. They also did a layer of heated towels between the sheet and the blanket that was magical and again, not something we've had done in other massage locations. The room was calming with low, warm lighting while we undressed. It was mostly shut off during our massage. The music was also playing low. Very easy to let yourself relax here. The lobby and overall space is well curated. The lobby has a coffee and tea bar that also has water post massage. 100/10 be sure to call and make an appt for you're girl! Can't wait to be back!

I called around 1:37 PM on a Friday hoping to book a couples massage for later that day, but they were fully booked. Fortunately, they had two openings available which was 2:15 PM and 6:00 PM. My partner encouraged me to go without him, so I took the 2:15 PM appointment. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the receptionist, Josalyn (or Jocelyn... sorry if I misspelled your name!). Very pleasant on the phone and in-person. She had me fill out a form detailing the type of massage I wanted, pressure preference, areas of focus, and any add-ons I was interested in. I chose the 60-minute deep tissue massage with extra attention to my back, neck, and shoulders. My massage therapist, Gib, was absolutely amazing. Bless her hands because she really got to work on all the tension and knots in my upper back that I didn't even realize I had. There were even moments when we both laughed because the relief felt so good I'd let out an involuntary grunt. It was intense in the best possible way. The hour flew by, and I honestly wished I had booked a 90-minute or even 2-hour session. Now I know I'll need to plan ahead next time. Safe to say, I'll definitely be back, and hopefully next time my partner can experience it with me as well.

Penny was the massage therapist who helped me on this day! She was excellent! She managed to address the problem area with expert technique and skill! I'm very satisfied with the massage and plan on returning for more recuperative treatment.

A steam, hottub and a cold plunge! They also gave us totes with robes so we could move to and fro areas. The massage was the best massage Ive ever gotten. It was a deep tissue with I believe her name was Jessica or Jesse. It was dim and very relaxing! I will say this place was pretty pricey so I'd do it for a special occasion! The only blip, and it really is a small blip is that one of the front desk ladies misheard my friend when she said she was paying for 2 of us and charged her for 3. We able to sort it out amongst ourselves (Thanks zelle lol) but they were very apologetic! I'll be sure to come back for an anniversary or something!

I'll start by saying that Mark was absolutely fantastic, and I'll get back to him in a moment. As for Watercourse Spa itself, I've been coming here for many years, and I honestly think it's time for a renovation. The facility is starting to show its age. During my massage, I couldn't help but notice a large stain on the ceiling above me. The sink in the treatment room also appeared quite dirty. I had planned on taking a shower after my massage, but after using the restroom and seeing the shower area, I decided against it because both the shower and bathroom looked like they needed a much more thorough cleaning. Another thing that stood out to me was the massage table itself. When I laid down, the sheets weren't very soft, and the blanket covering me felt rough. When I visit a spa, I expect plush, freshly laundered linens that feel luxurious against the skin. Soft sheets, fluffy blankets, a spotless environment, and a relaxing atmosphere are all part of what makes a spa experience feel truly indulgent. Those little details make a big difference and help create the comfort and tranquility that guests are paying for. It's a spa I've always enjoyed visiting, which is why it was disappointing to see it in this condition. I truly hope management invests in renovating the facility, replacing worn linens, and paying closer attention to cleanliness and upkeep. The spa has so much potential, and with a few improvements, it could once again feel like the relaxing retreat it was meant to be. Now, onto the highlight of my visit--Mark. He was an absolute sweetheart and an exceptional massage therapist. He was friendly, easy to talk to, and incredibly knowledgeable. We spoke about a few personal issues related to why I needed certain areas of my body worked on, and he took the time to offer thoughtful advice and even recommended some helpful resources. I genuinely appreciated his kindness and willingness to help. Mark was wonderful to both my husband and me. His experience truly shows--he's been a massage therapist for over two decades, and it was evident throughout the entire session. He applied excellent pressure during my deep tissue massage, took his time, and never made the treatment feel rushed. You can tell he genuinely cares about his clients and takes pride in his work. If you're looking for an outstanding massage therapist, look no further--Mark is your guy. Lastly, I'd also like to compliment the front desk staff. They were warm, welcoming, and professional. My only hope is that the spa invests in renovating and better maintaining the facility so it matches the quality of the excellent therapists who work there. The staff and therapists deserve a space that reflects the same level of care and professionalism they provide to their guests.

They try to accommodate you with appointments at either locations if possible. They always greet you with a smile, actually listen to your pain, and make you feel completely welcome and comfortable from the moment you walk in. I am incredibly grateful for this practice!" I don't enjoy my time (so good it hurts) with her but know the end results will payoff. This is a no frills deep tissue massage experience. Ross (Rosalyn) works for herself and by herself so she manages all the bookings via text so allow some time for responses. As for commentary on her candor, if it's not for you, then it isn't. Grow some thicker skin. She's frank but not disrespectful. Her talent, pricing, and results make it worthwhile for many of us, based on her regulars. Her space is a bit dated but clean, dark, and comfortable. As someone mentioned, it's no Burke Williams so manage your expectations here. Cash preferred and considering she keeps her prices reasonable-it would behoove you to return the hard work with a nice tip. She offers 1 hr, 1.5 hr, and 2 hr sessions. If you're new, I'd recommend the 1 hr to start with and maintain with the 1.5 hr sessions to make the effort worthwhile.
