Had a really nice experience in the Tap room. We were helped by the bartender, Griffin and he was great! Great personality, attentive to all his patrons... overall just a joy. Ordered mango & strawberry margaritas both were delicious. Then had cobb salad, lamb meatballs and California Mac& cheese. The Mac&cheese was not noteworthy. Jacks Taps is the hidden Gem you guys have all been looking for, for a second imagine one of the coolest tap houses located in downtown Pleasant Hill with the best rotating beer on tap and the best food courtesy of Jack's next door. The bartenders and the wait staff are so on top of their game and the inside the tap houses is vide is exactly where it should be. First time at Jack's Taps and I'll definitely be back. Service was great, friendly and fast. We had the French Dip and the Reuben sandwich and both were amazing. The sweet potato fries were hands down the best I've ever had. Food came out quick, and everything was hot and delicious. It wasn't too busy, which made for a chill vibe. Good music, sports on the TVs, and 20 local beers on tap. Street and lot parking available. Solid spot all around. read more

Service was great. Came in right before 6pm. There was a wait. But it sure didn't feel like it. And it was busy on a Tuesday. Sat down, ordered waiter was nice and helpful. We got our food so quick. We were in and out in about an hour. We ordered calamari, coconut shrimp and the lamb meatballs. All were good. Also received some bread and butter. Great place for a bite and some brew. Many tvs at the bar to catch your sports team too. The vibe is casual and service is prompt. I ordered a burger that came with sourdough bread as the bun, which sounded good at first, but about halfway through I wish I went with a brioche bun instead. My friend ordered the fried chicken sandwich and the chicken filet was HUGE! I do prefer a fried chicken sandwich with a lot more sauce or slaw inside the sandwich. It looked more like fried chicken than a sandwich. It was a quick bite, but satisfying. I'd come here again for sure! read more

This is the best place to stop by and grab one of their rotating beer selections. They always have a stout on tap which is rare to find these days. I love grabbing buffalo wings and a nice cold beer. Love this place. I can't speak to their taps, because I generally order a Manhattan here. But - the food is scrumdillyicious. I'd say we do brunch most often then dinner. Plenty to choose from on their diverse menu. The staff are very attentive and a manager frequently checks in with guests. The outdoor seating area in front is doggo friendly. The service is top notch and the food is tasteful and abundant. My friend and I stumbled upon this gem when we were trying to decide where to have lunch in an area we were unfamiliar with. We were very happy that we stumbled upon this delicious and amazing restaurant. Everyone who we encountered from the hostess to the servers were all very friendly and welcoming. I have been in search of a really good French dip sandwich. So I thought I'd give Jack's a try. It wasn't that the sandwich was bad but rather just average. The portion was good but I was hoping for house roasted beef vs deli a precooked deli style roast beef. The jus was average as well most likely made from a dry concentrate. The bread was good. My fries had to have been sitting under a warmer for a while(definitely not fresh). The service was good and very prompt and the atmosphere was nice as far as a corporate chain can be. What can I say? Good food, good beer. Came in to watch the game with a little bite to eat for the night. Ordered the garlic fries, calamari and half chicken. Everything was perfect and complemented our drinks very nicely. Ambiance is chill and located in the downtown area. This is a smaller restaurant located on the other side. Excellent choice of beers, plus the regular menu. If there's a long wait at jacks, this might be an option for couples. They only have high top tables so if you prefer a lower table, go to jacks. read more

Definitely a happenin' spot! This taproom is an extension of Jack's Restaurant & Bar right next door. The taproom is way more laid back compared to the actual restaurant itself. It's a great spot to catch a game or to have dinner when the restaurant is busy and overcrowded. You can enjoy the same happy hour bites menu from the restaurant here as well as the rest of their menu. They have three large big screen TV's at the bar and over 20 different beers on tap! The best part about their tap beers is that they actually offer variety! Yes, they have their standard IPA's, but they also usually keep several ales, sours, ciders, and guest beers too. They rotate their tap list pretty often, but it's easy to find something that you like. If you're with someone who isn't really a fan of beer, they have wine options too (they get it from next door). The bartenders are awesome! They will check in on you and chat you up if you're up for it. All in all, Jack's taps is a solid option for great beer and a fun time. read more

I'd normally give them a free pass if it was busy and they were the only server but the bar top had 2 people and 2 tables of 2. Great place to come for a beer, today I selected The Patsy which was simply amazing. The pour looks chocolatey from the deep froth head with notes of coffee, coconut, spice chocolate and tastes fabulous!!! The Orchid Cider tastes like a sweet wine. The Mediterranean sampler is perfect treat to snack on while we have pleasant conversation. No happy hour on weekends. read more

Came to watch the Niners game on a rainy day. Had a great time at Jack's with my fiance and two friends. Emily was amazing, she was attentive to our table and had a good report with all of us. Half way through the game, Emily had to leave so we closed out with her. GRIFFIN came in, and he ignored us while he attended to all of the other tables. It took some time before he came to talk to us and when he did we noticed that Griffin was wearing a mask at his chin, but only when he came to our table did he put his mask up plus he was rude to us. Absolutely felt disrespected by him and I feel bad having invited my friends to this place and they were treated that way by him. We arrived today and they have ALL outdoor seating. It is nice to be back out with people again, enjoying a nice meal. The waitstaff were so nice and everyone really seemed to be back to work. There were a lot of people but the service was still quick. Half of our table got breakfast and I can say it looked well cooked and are some of the best dishes I've seen. I personally got a Caesar salad with steak and holy goodness! The steak was PERFECT and their Caesar dressing seemed handmade. We ordered Bloody Mary's and Moscow Mules all of which were amazing drinks. We are now trying to make this our regular weekend spot! Thank you Jack's!! read more

I love Jack's in Pleasant Hill!! All the crew are so nice and considerate and always have a smile for you!! The food here is the BOMB!! OMG!!!! Outstanding food, and beverages. Hands down this was the best dining experience we have had since the reopening of restaurants from the pandemic. To start we had the Mediterranean platter, which was complete heaven. And we also had the lamb meatballs, which were well flavored as well. To drink I had the mango fro mo. This drink, is sooo refreshing and delicious. My hubby had the citrus wheat beer. This was after asking for tastings of about 4 beers on tap to make a decision. The waitress offered, and my husband was happy to try the selections to make a decision. Awesome service. My main meal, I had the hot dog Mac and cheese, a nostalgia of my childhood. However this mac and cheese is far better then anything I ever had in my childhood. We didn't have a single bad thing while here. Now, if they could just open a location in Roseville/Rocklin, where we live that would be fantastic read more

Jacks Restaurant is also a taproom. Good beers and really interesting bar menu. Had the Lamb Sliders and a pint of their house IPA, both were just fine. The price for both was under $15, not bad for a tourist zone. Highly recommended if you're in Concord for the night and want a brew. read more

This is our go-to place prior to going to a movie or meeting friends just because. The serving staff is always friendly, but Caitlin goes above and beyond every time. Needed me a breakfast burrito fix. My bff Mikey advised the breakfast burritos at this joint were on point, so I tested. I must say, Mikey knows his breakfast burritos and wowzers - it was flamas. Pulled up in the lot in my clean ass whip on some freshly polished 22's and walked up to the front to obtain my bounty. I went for the southwest breakfast burrito which contains two eggs scrambled, hash browns, grilled chicken, new mexico hatch chiles, pepper jack cheese, pico de gallo and I added pickled jalapeños. The jalapeños added a delicious crunch to the bohemoth and I was highly satisfied. Sure they aren't cheap, but these beauty's have been crafted by a burrito artisan and love. The service is top notch as well, attentive without being overbearing, and the staff always makes the experience enjoyable. Meanwhile, other guests who walked in without reservations were greeted warmly and seated right away. The host's attitude was rude and unwelcoming from the start. Because of the way we were treated, we decided to leave and take our business elsewhere. Very disappointing experience. No wonder you have a broken arm buddy! However, we were very glad we left that place and dined at SP2 Communal Bar where respected and greeted us with a warm welcome. The manager also gave us free shooters and their food was very good! We're coming to that place for sure!

I enjoyed the No Tanlines IPA, & the Tropidank IPA. Both were phenomenal. Great taste profile, went down easy and not too heavy on the ABV. Those beers paired nicely with the food that I enjoyed. Speaking of food their menu is just the right size with the right amount of options. I didn't find it overwhelming because honestly nothing is worse than a large menu with excessive options especially at a brewery. Lastly, the ambience of the brewery was very enjoyable. It's just the right size, and they also have a rather eclectic music playlist that I particularly enjoyed and it seems that the Staff there enjoys it along with many of the other patrons. Overall, this establishment will be a place that I revisit again probably more than once during my time in Dublin California and it will certainly be my go to place for a post round of golf meal & beer(s).

The last time I was there, I sat at the bar and noticed more of the staff dynamic than I've seen before. The bartender never once wiped down the bar top even though it was obviously covered in sticky spilled beer and bits of food. The staff were grumpy and didn't seem to be enjoying each other or serving people. One staff person complained about patrons and said they can either wait or order off the QR code...ouch. I got so tired of the bar vibe that I paid and took my beer outside to enjoy in peace. The beer selection seemed decent but I wasn't that impressed to think that I would frequent the place on future visits. They call themselves a brewery but I honestly didn't see any signs of brewing equipment and most of their beers were from other breweries. I'll give it another try but I might have to find a new beer spot.
