I was so so anxious after reading some of the reviews here and I'm sure there have probably been some genuine bad experiences by some patients but I couldn't imagine Lea'Tasha or Kim having ANYTHING to do with those negative experiences at this hospital. This prompted me more urgently to see if my prescription was up. I checked the Kaiser app to see if the prescription was up and BINGO! It was . Makes sense I was having vision challenges. Anywho, I'm from Fresno and the earliest I can be be seen was end of June 2026. I definitely can't be waiting that long unfortunately as I need new glasses and prescription. Luckily we were headed to the Bay Area for Easter and Martinez had 1 appointment open for 4/2 at 3pm. I booked it immediately as it's not too far from the dudes grandmas house. We ran into some car trouble and gps said we won't be there until 3:45 pm. I called Kaiser and they recommended I reschedule. I am not taking no for an answer and I saw on their site they take walk ins. I let the advice line know. I think we can make it. We made it at 3:50pm. It took me a little to find the location but I found it. 4pm. I registered online and checked in with staff to let them know. YES I am about an hour late. Took accountability 100% . They asked Dr. Angela Wong if she will take me. The staff member said she is with a patient but will ask. A few minutes later they call me. They said Dr. Angela Wong is ready for me. I cry. Before I can walk back Dr. Wong greets me so warm and excited to see me. I can feel my body relax as she reassures me she will take me in. Dr. Angela Wong is an amazing soul. She is so warm, funny, exciting and just refreshing. I have had bad optometrist experiences growing up but she has healed my trauma from just by her being her. So understanding and very supportive! Do not give her up Kaiser at all. She is a GEM to the optometry world . We had a blast together in the appointment and made it go by so fast. She gave me words of encouragement as I let her know I'm getting married. It was like talking to a bestie! Seriously recommend her. She was surprised I came from Fresno but lack of availability had me come up North. I left with a new prescription and ordering my glasses this week! Thank you Dr. Wong . Systemic stress is real! And barriers too but she closed the gap. Highly recommend her!

She did not check my Lungs, heart rate, ears or eyes like my previous doctor did. She did provide me a copy of my lab results which were printed so small and light that they are hard to read. I received a more legible copy in the mail. It is apparent that the Veterans do not seek quality in their selections of doctors and each Doctor has limited pateint time. Seem like no one knows who places meds in this status, and CCHP has no answers, and worse, they have no mechanism to correct this, barring grievance. If you can endure a system that is increasingly bureaupathic, profit driven, and seemingly age discriminatory, CCHP is fine, and yes, I would prefer CCHP any day if given the choice between CCHP and Kaiser Always be prepared to file complaints or grievances which are surprisingly easy to find on the CCHP website. We were happy with the care she received, that's why we brought her back again. First of all, it's a very clean facility, small and personal, but most of all great staff. The nurses my Mom had were professional & helpful. The CNA's were amazing. The ones I will mention were the very best. Mario, Smile, Rain, and one special CNA on swing shift named Michelle. Jessica on the weekends was also an excellent help with my Mom, Nursing director Teri was extremely helpful, always available to help. Vanessa social worker was also fantastic at assisting with so much. The physical therapists & occupational therapists were also great. I hope my Mom never has to go back, but if she ever did, Legacy would surely be our number 1 pick. Much love & thanks to the staff. I was sent to Legacy for nursing and physical therapy services, following Spinal Surgery. This…read morefacility was clean. The frontline staff was professional, kind, and engaging. However, I experienced a lack of preparation, an absence of communication, and a failure to reorder necessary medications --on multiple occasions. These negative aspects of my time at the Legacy stemmed from the Administration's systemic failure. Administration provided no orientation or introduction to the facility. Thus, I had no knowledge of visiting hours, food menus, or any patient rules. I did not even know there was an onsite Social Worker until the last week of my 5 week stay. I had to track her down to find out if administration had a discharge plan for me. I was initially provided a wheel chair with no foot rests and a bed with no arm rests. This was at a time when I was non ambulatory. Eventually, these medical items were provided. Still., when the facility ran out of my two heart medications (needed 2x a day) I wasn't told til the time I was to receive them that they ran out and had not yet reordered. It took 24 hours to get these medicines. All in all, my review of the Legacy is mixed.. I think if the Administrators strengthened themselves into a team that promoted clarity and transparency to their patients/clients this would be a very good facility. Patricia McGuire Lopas

She ordered X-rays and thought it may be a bacterial infection.. she wrote me a prescription for antibiotics. I do appreciate her. She was awesome. They do not have xray here. You must go elsewhere. X-rays came back clear. I started antibiotics. Good news! It seemed to work! My foot was getting better! I was already writing my 5 star review! Now for the bad, Then, after I stopped taking them, pain started getting worse again. Just need a refill so the rest of the infection goes away. To be clear the meds I am speaking of are used for acne and the like (bacteria). They are not pain meds or anything someone would want too much of. The app they have you use is not connected to a human and has been very frustrating. The app also allowed me to ask for a refill automatically with no response at all. They are not returning my phone call. I find this very unprofessional. It appears they won't help me at all until I make another appointment! Which of course costs $$$. I shouldn't have to make another appointment even virtual and pay you more money to show you the same thing. All that does is waste my time and money and double your profit. They were quick and convenient but not effective. I will go John Muir urgent care from now on. Rounded up to 3 stars because Madison figured it out.

So if you think you might need x-rays, might want to seek elsewhere for purposes of a consolidated visit in the already difficult situation.
