I wanted to like/ love this place...but none of the above happened. Place is cute, small, stylish and attempting to be upscale. I was not impressed with the looks or taste of food. There are no prices on the menu and it's overpriced for the food to just a little above frozen food standards. Just my opinion. Service was good, drinks were decent. I will not be back. Continuing our fun foodie weekend we spent Sunday, Father's Day and National Martini Day at Martini Me. We didn't have reservations and got there right when they opened so it was not a problem. We were in and out in a little over an hour. The martini menu is extensive and creative. I had two. A gin blood orange and a raspberry lemon drop. For $12 a pop I wouldn't be able to drink here all the time because they go down about as quickly as a shot!! For food we all got something different. I tried a bite of the crab cake and I had the shrimp and grits. The crab cake bite was easily my favorite. It had a great sauce on it. The grits were good, but I'm not crazy about a deep brown gravy and that's what they use. I was hoping for way more egg options for brunch. That's just my favorite!! All they offered was a veggie omelet. They've done a ton of work to remodel the location which used to be a late night bar. Again happy to support local I wish them continued success. read more

This establishment is my go to place on Fridays for karaoke. And I always order two fried shrimp appetizers and a watermelon martini and it always hit the spot! The music is good but sometimes, it can be louder than normal. I decided to try their brunch and I'm normally skeptical about trying other establishments grits but I went for it anyway. Ordered the shrimp and grits and it was really good! Shocked me! The flavor was all there! The grits was seasoned just right! The hostess and the waitress Toya is so accommodating and so nice! We walked in and were told the wait would be about a hour and 15 minutes. We placed our names on the wait list and received a call within 15 minutes to notify us our table was ready. The decor and atmosphere was nice. There was live music playing which presented with pros and cons. I ordered an amaretto sour and the shrimp and grits. The amaretto sour was awful. Our waitress was nice about returning the drink twice. I opted for Moscato. The waitress wasn't keen on the drink list or the bartender's capabilities. The shrimp and grits was good but for the price I was expecting a bigger serving. I'm not used to shrimp and grits with brown gravy but the flavor was definitely there! Once we were done, the waitress took our cards at the table and came back with printed merchant receipts for us to sign and leave a tip. I didn't like that there wasn't a way to preview my bill beforehand Our receive a copy of the customer's receipt. The restaurant advertises a two hour maximum for the table once your order is placed. I'm not sure if they actually enforce that as we weren't seated for a full two hours. This is odd as it took the kitchen a good while to bring our food. I can try a restaurant once but this isn't a place I'd return to. read more

Location being not what you would expect from a great restaurant and bar, but worth the visit. The decor is sexy and romantic but with a masculine flair. Would say great for business meetings as it is moderate in volume and has great food and drinks. We had several drinks from a dry martini to their watermelon martini. The bartender was also the server, but we were never neglected and everything came out with great timing. We appreciated the nice and friendly service we received the entire time dinning. They brought water out without having to ask and it looked clean unlike other restaurants downtown that the water bottle they use has mold around the rim. Not here. Here the bottle was clean. The drink presentation was beautiful with a beautiful flower each time. The food was all delicious which exceeded all our expectations. We are looking forward to going back. read more

We found this place on a reel on IG and decided to try it out. We are so glad that we did!! Our bachelorette party of 5 was welcomed with open arms. Toya was our waitress and she was absolutely AMAZING! She recommended food and drinks and everything we ordered came out fast and fresh. I had the crab cake, caprese salad, and cucumber martini and all were fabulous. My caprese salad had spinach instead of basil which was interesting but it was still delicious. My husband ordered food last night to go specifically TWO Alfredos with shrimp & chicken, to no surprise our food was SOUR! The food stunk so bad, you can smell it through the bag. I would love to give this place 5 stars but there are reasons why I cannot. My husband an I went out for drinks. I wanted to stop here for the longest but they were closed as always. Come to find out they changed the times they opened. But since it was close to opening they let us in. First off the bar wasn't cleaned well. It was very streaky and oily. We brought it to the general managers attention but no rag or nothing to make us feel more comfortable. At first, Things were lovely and going great. The bartender even gave us his special cocktail. We didn't ask for it so I assumed it was complimentary. Boy was I wrong. He charged us for the two drinks we never even asked for. If I knew the bartender who is also the general manager would have done that, I would have never accepted those drinks. Because of that I don't think I'll ever return. I like honestly. I don't think it was fair that we were charged for drinks we've never even asked for considering we already had fresh drinks before he brought us his specialty. Horrible experience. Met a group of friends there this past Friday. We were excited because with everything going on, we had not hung out in awhile. It honestly felt as if we were being discriminated against. The room was filled with African American females mostly and a few males. When we walked in we drew attention and automatically felt unwelcome. I'm Hispanic and grew up in a diverse environment so it didn't phase me... the food and drinks were good but small portion and a bit high for North Charleston -$13 for a martini. the service sucked. We were served martini drinks in regular wine glasees and were told they didn't have enough martini glasses for everyone, while all the ladies across our table got their drinks before us regularly in nothing but martini glasses. We asked for an extra chair and were told they don't move chairs around. The place had several empty chairs, it was only 6pm, not crowded and the ladies on the next table had a chair on the side like we were hoping to and It was ok for them to do. About 10 minutes later a gentleman brought us an extra chair as if he was doing us a big old favor. Lastly to top it off. We paid our bills and sipped the last of our drinks when the chair guy came back and said they had a 2 hour limit on the tables. There were a few people that had been there before us but they insisted on singling us out. I would not recommend this place. read more
