Solid solid pizza. I used solid twice so you know it won't disappoint. If thin crust is not your thing then don't bother, but if a softer thin crust pizza is your wheelhouse, then you can't go wrong at Marty's. The pizza is consistently good. Marty's is a pizza joint right off I-94 in Delafield. They serve takeout and sit-down customers in a modest restaurant, the interior is old, but it has comfortable tables and TVs. I came with my grandfather and ordered a large pizza - half with "the works" (sausage, mushroom, onion and green peppers) for me and half plain sausage for him. About 30 minutes into waiting for the pizza, a manager came and informed us that they had accidentally put "the works" on the entire pizza and that they had already started a plain one for my grandfather and that the additional pizza would be free. This news was pretty frustrating and the second pizza came about 20 minutes after mine, delaying our meal and forcing my grandfather to watch me eat... At any rate, the pizza was pretty good. Nice thin crust, tangy sauce, fresh ingredients, and generous with the meat. This is Wisconsin, so you can order a beer with your pizza. I can't believe I've never yelp reviewed Marty's. I consider myself somewhat of a regular !!!! The pizza is DELISH. and also awesome (and big ) salads ! I like that they serve local beers too. We had my sons bday party there a few years ago n it was very accommodating. I really enjoy the atmosphere and also in the past (@ the Brookfield location ) I had the Italian sausage sandwich; also very flavorful. I will be back again and again. We ordered a calzone. It was very large and heavy. We cut into it, it was almost all dough. There was very little sauce inside, very little cheese, hardly any ingredients. The dough was very thick, like a pizza crust.Calzone dough should be half the thickness of pizza crust. We couldn't even cut through it without a steak knife. When you cut into a calzone there should be steaming hot cheese and pizza sauce oozing out, more like a Stromboli, but even less cheese. Ours was bone dry inside. The ratio of ingredients inside compared to the dough was ridiculous. Inedible. read more

I have been going to Marty's for at least 10 years and I have to say, you don't go to Marty's for the atmosphere. It is all about the pizza baby. One of my favorite pizza places on the planet (so far) and I have had my fair share of pizza from around the country. If you like sausage on your pizza, I don't know what it is, but this is one of my favorite toppings on any pizza ever. Theirs is so good in comparison with other places. Solid pizza, but our server had dirt under her fingernails. Talk about a turn off. Lots of pizza choices in a very family-oriented environment. The pizza is good and reasonably priced. The service from both the host and our server was not good. Both were high school aged and either inexperienced or did not care (I lean towards did not care, because even an inexperienced server putting in the effort gets kudos from me, that's how one gets experience). I have been eating Marty's Pizza since the 60's when I lived in Brookfield. I now make it a point to have it at least once whenever I am in town visiting family. This visit on June 28, 2018 was not so pleasant at first. We were greeted by hostess "Maddy" and she led us into a very noisy and croweded room (to the right of hostess stand). I noticed the room off to the left was much quieter and had 5 tables in use, as she was walking back from laying out the menus at each of our 4 seats I asked her kindly if we could please eat in the other dining room as my 85yr old mother was hard of hearing and in a noisy room it would be difficult communicating with her. I received a huff and a put out look as she rudely spun around and grabbed the menus from in front of my kids and said nothing to them. As she walked past me...I thanked her, as we entered the other room I noticed there was a sign that said it was closed. That was never conveyed to me. She dropped the stack of menus in the middle of a table as all the booths needed bussing or wiping down. And said "how is this?" Again I thanked her my kids noticed a grimice on her face as she stormed off. Our Waitress Maddie was AWESOME!! She took great care of us! The food Spectacular as always! It was great to catch up and visit with my mother in a quieter location. If we didn't have a waitress of Maddie's caliber this would only have 1 star. If Maddy was as good as Maddie this would have been 5 stars! While we ate I noticed a 2 top being seated. Was a visitor from out of town, ate here twice. My daughter and I both had fettuccine Alfredo, garlic bread and salads. The meals were enough to bring home for lunch the next day. We were looking for a place that was open on a Sunday night, and this was close and open. Staff was friendly and all the customers seemed to be enjoying themselves. Wasn't in the mood for pizza, so I tried a calamari. Menu said the crust was "light and flaky". Wouldn't have called it that, but it wasn't near as tough as some calamari's are. Not impressed. Service was very, very slow. Way too much sauce for the spaghetti served. It was all you can eat spaghetti, and we should have asked for more spaghetti to go with the sauce. While I enjoyed the dry crust (and the thinner, smaller boxes for some reason) nothing else stood out for me, which is unfortunate because the pizza looked as good as it smelled. I've heard tale of Marty's Pizza for many years, and it's never seemed appealing, but hey, we were hungry and thought we'd give it a try. The decor was unimpressive and the atmosphere left much to be desired. The lighting was terrible, just terrible... I can be very particular about the lighting, so maybe I'm being harsh, but harsh is the word I'd use to describe the lighting. The pizza itself was uninspiring, lacking of taste, flavor, or anything else that would serve to impress us. All in all, I would not return here, or recommend it. They also deliver, and I while your own house may be better atmosphere-wise, I don't think it will improve the pizza. I've heard that the other Marty's (the original one, in Brookfield) is much better, but I can't speak to that. read more

Our group of 5 stopped here on our way to Miller Park to get take-out for tailgating at the Brewers Game. We were looking for subs that were a step-up from Subway, and we found it at Marty's. My husband and I both got Philly Cheesesteak subs, and they were delicious. Everyone else in our group agreed that their subs were very good. I'm reviewing Marty's for delivery pizza only as I've never been inside the place. If you like thin crust rectangular pizzas, this is the place for you. Price-wise, you can probably do better. A pizza for our family (half-supreme, half-cheese) runs about $25. Add in a delivery change and tip, and you are getting close to $30. It is a definite upgrade over the chains though. read more
