She has great memories from going to a different Marty's location for work lunches years ago. Apps: -We started our order with some of the mozzarella sticks, which my wife and MIL liked (I'm not huge on breaded mozzarella sticks, so I didn't try them out). Mains: -Pepperoni pizza (Wife)-- really good thin crust pizza -Spinach lasagna (MIL)-- over seasoned to me, but my MIL seemed to enjoy it -Steak Sandwich (Me)-- not great, one little slice of overcooked, thin steak with some cheese. It also came with a cold side of fries. Overall, I would stop back in for pizza but probably would probably skip for anything else. read more

Three of us had the lasagna and found it very tasty. Two of us had it with Italian sausage and the other person had the homemade meatballs. I would order it that way next time. We stopped next door for gas and it was lunch time, so we decided to give Marty's Pizza a try. Our server was very nice. She was the only one taking care of the tables at the time and did a great job. The hubby decided on the lunch pizza. It was a thin crust individual pizza and it came with a piece of yummy garlic bread. I got two pieces of garlic bread for my check in on Yelp! I had the Italian sandwich, which I really enjoyed. I got a grilled chicken sub. They were out of their sub buns, but said their sandwich buns were essentially the same. WOW, the bread was delicious!!! Homemade too. We love the pizza at Marry's Pizza. We have eaten both in the dining area as well as ordered it to go. Both are always hot and delicious. The sauce is not too sweet, which I prefer and has an addictive and robust flavor. The dough is just the right texture. Best pizza in the area in our opinion. Martys is my go to pizza joint for office events in Delafield for pick up and delivery. If you are like me and don't always plan ahead like calling your order in advance, Marty's always gets your food taken care of in a reasonable time, even during the busy lunch hour. I also appreciate Martys for having a gluten free crust option but it only comes in a personal pizza size. They have a variety of options to cater to many different food restrictions. Their pizza comes in a square and the crust is thin but not crispy. The cheese perfectly browned on their pepperoni pizzas. I highly recommend the Spinach Chicken Alfredo for a change. The food was okay. I must comment on the ambience of this place after we had a very poor experience eating there this evening. It was a 90° day today and we went in to have pizza for dinner on our way home from Western Wisconsin. It was so hot in there due to no air conditioning. Do you think they would let customers know that we're dining in but no one said a word. When we went to leave and got outside, it was actually cooler outside than it was in the restaurant! Just ate here. Was served a rotten meatball on my spinach lasagna. Literally cut into it and immediately could smell the rotten stench. I had eaten only two bites of the lasagna and was obviously done eating now. Waitress was super kind and wanted to get the manager (I did not ask for a manager lol). Manager seemed decent but kept saying "they were made yesterday ". I recommended she smell it and it was taken back to the kitchen. As we were leaving and getting the check, the sweet Waitress apologized that her manager only took of half the cost of the lasagna. I was polite and understanding with them because stuff happens in kitchens and my server was not at fault in any way. Upon exiting I did ask for the manager again and told her I've never ever been served rotten food and then been asked to pay for 1/2 of it. Manager reiterated "they were made yesterday". Well, I guess they were made with rotten meat or not stored properly. I mean the meatball seriously stunk. You know that rotten meat smell that you can't mistake! I have no problem paying for what I ate (salad and garlic bread) but to be charged for lasagna served with rotten meat? Yikes. On a good note, the service from our waitress was wonderful and we left her a nice $20+ tip. TLDR: Served rotten meatball and charged 1/2 cost for meal I didn't eat. This is a review that I should have done a couple of years ago. Marty's has been our "go-to" place for over 35 years. The pizza is both good and consistently made. When my ex-wife and I remarried, deciding to use Marty's as our reception was an easy choice. Unfortunately, we were a bit too free in extending our invitations and (accidently) essentially took over the place. The wait staff and cooks were superb about it. read more

Marty's pizza has a unique sauce which I actually love. It's the pizza I grew up with as a kid and it's totally one-of-a-kind. I especially like its square shape because you get a lot more pizza for per pie. Go math! First time I've been to this MARTY'S. My family are long time patrons and actually knew the original owners, so my uncle brought us here to share in the memories of good pizza! We were greeted right away. Sat down and ordered a family size pizza with all kinds of toppings and some beers. Our waitress was a little flighty and forgot to bring one of our beers.. and being that we were 1 of only 2 families in the place, it did seem to take a bit longer than expected to get our pizza. But nonetheless, we enjoyed our free garlic toast (thanks to YELP check-in) and beers while we waited and enjoyed each other's company. The pizza came out and it was delicious! I love the thin crust, cut in squares and fennel seasoned sausage. I feel like the MARTY'S in Waukesha had different pepperoni (I could be wrong.. all the same I prefer a spicier pepperoni). The pizza was still amazing and I'd come back again and again! I feel our server was perhaps new. She came to our table a few too many times while we were eating, but when it was time to pay, she just disappeared for a bit. But I give the place a solid 4 star! Clean restrooms. I used to have Marty's growing up at the Brookfield location. I moved away in 2009 and haven't been back to Marty's since then. This passed week I was able to go to the Delafield location and it was JUST as good as I recall. Amazing pizza. My absolute favorite. I got the meat deluxe and a Buffalo chicken, both were awesome. This is a pretty decent sized restaurant. I've never seen it busy! I've eaten here a couple times over the past months, both times were consistently "blah." The service was ok, the place is pretty outdated looking, but it's clean. Value is iffy, as the pizzas are pretty pricey. The pizza itself is just ok. Not good, just ok! They bring it to your table in a beat up baking pan. Both times our pizza was partially stuck to the pan and we had to destroy a piece or two to disconnect it from the pan. Not a ton of flavor to the pizza sauce. Just ok. There are a lot of other good pizza places in the area. This ones been around awhile, but it's not good. We (two adults and two kids) were looking forward to some Marty's pizza, so we stopped in on Wednesday night (8.24.2022). I was shocked at how dirty the restaurant was and the smell in contained. I understand that building is a bit on the older side - as I believe its the all exactly the same as it was when I was a child - but that is no excuse for dust filled window shades, food/grease/finger print covered table tents and menus, to salt and pepper shakers that clearly have not been wiped down in some time, etc. I sure hope the kitchen is cleaned better than the front of the house. But I think it is safe that we will avoid visiting again. read more

Gluten free crust and garlic bread definitely not worth the prices. The crust is (of course) an upcharge for a 10 inch crust. The employees understood cross contamination which was great, but the crust could break teeth. The garlic bread was two pieces of gf bread (small)- with seasoning. That's it. Two pieces. And the second they cool off it's really not good tasting. My husband had the meat lovers pizza and said it had no seasoning. Neither of our pizzas had much of any sauce. I will not be going back. Adding a second star for customer service. Not worth the prices, this was nearly $50. Much better off going to Eric's Pizza in Oconomoc. read more

Lots of toppings and a unique, tangy sauce covered a great crisp crust. It was one of the best delivery pizzas I've ever had. The next night, we had a Margarita Pizza, with Basil, Tomatoes and Garlic and an order of Honey Mustard Wings. It was another outstanding pizza and the wings were Crispy, Juicy and Flavorful! I concur with another reviewer, don't go for the atmosphere, go for the pizza. On an early Saturday evening, the dining room was teeming with families and large groups, and is a bit new looking and bright, but tidy and comfortable. The nachos were good to tide us over while waiting for pizza, crispy warmed chips topped with real shredded cheese. The not-cracker-thin pizza crust had a nice char flavor while not being burnt or browned, most likely from an oven with some age on it. The sausage, pepperoni and cheese were all nice quality, and the service was good. If you are in the area and jonesing for pie, give it a try. read more

I grew up going to Marty's after hockey games at Nag and Eble; to this day I look forward to going there (probably frequent it every other month).The environment is nice and clean, but nothing special - unless your a kid and you love the arcade games- but he food is GREAT. I love their pizza; one of the best in Waukesha (and I'd give that honor to two establishments, one being here). They have a thin, crispy crust, which I do enjoy - so if thick is your thing, you may not appreciate this pizza as much as I do. My favorite pizza is their BBQ Chicken or Veggie, of course they do the classics well. They also have great spaghetti and meatballs. If you are looking to cater a party, the pizza and subs are always a hit (and they have plenty of size offerings at a reasonable rate). They do deliver (as does their Brookfield restaurant). Back to the actually environment, they have two rooms, with plenty of seating, so its great for bringing the family or a group of friends. They are quick and efficient, but keep in mind that they cook the pizza fresh. read more
