We had a hard time choosing two drinks from the huge menu, and eventually settled on a Campfire Cold Brew and Banana Bread Chai. The server was incredibly helpful in helping me figure out what I wanted, as I was trying to avoid caffeine. The Banana Bread Chai was very delicious, although it could have been a bit thicker and could've used a little more banana flavoring. I'm comparing it to the Starbucks banana bread latte, which I actually prefer, although I'm not a huge Starbucks fan. The Campfire Cold Brew was tasty and had lots of chocolate syrup, but the coffee also tasted a little bitter and watery.

Posted a comment and was asked to send a private message. I am so glad I did. The Macarons I ordered were St Patty's day themed. Lucky charms cereal, Shamrock Shake and Baileys Irish creme! Too die for flavors! The cookie part perfectly baked, the creme filling inside is out of this world flavored! I also order their special box. It is a heart filled chocolate box filled with chocolate and or candy. Hot cocoa bombs (choices of dark, milk or white chocolate) and chocolate dipped strawberries! Which are huge by the way and just as delicious! The best part about this entire thing is I am Gluten free, they double checked the chocolate to verify it was GF! It is by the way, they asked if I had a favorite GF candy for the chocolate box. Which they did add! They have a customer for life! I would strongly recommend checking them out!

They also have a small gift shop too, where they sell housemade spa salt cubes and lotions. You need to make a reservation for spa services here. I visit a lot of these types of places. I was surprised at how different Soakology was compared to most of my other experiences. We were taken to a large communal space which was divided into semi-private rooms made from dark curtains, and the lights are down low. They ask for no phones, and quiet. I sat in a raised arm chair and they wheel in a copper tub under us, that they filled with hot water and whatever scented salt cube you choose. The soaks range in price from $35 to $53, depending on which scented salt cube you pick. I choose the CBD (to attempt to make up for my lack of massage, $53). They came and refilled our hot water in the tub twice, and refilled our tea water. We visited on a warm day, and I image this service would be a staple for me in winter. I left sweating! I have inflammatory arthritis, and it did helped me to soak. Anyhow, the experience surpassed my expectations in terms of relaxation. When we left my feet were like 75% relaxed, which is not bad. I could do this all at home at a fraction of the cost, but there is something more luxurious about not having to set up, and clean up. If you are in Portland, check them out!

We drive down once every few months, from Gardiner. So it's nice to see the choices rotate on some things. It's always crowded in here, but Mainers are nicer than other TJ shoppers in other states, so it's tolerable. Love the artwork on the signs. Loveeeee the prices! So affordable. Such great quality food too. Just wish there was a Trader Joe's in central Maine. Begging you! Please! Augusta area desperately needs one! There is only one tiny health food store in the entire area.
