One of the best diners I have been too. The service is fast and friendly and the food is amazing.

I came here for lunch one day as I was in the area for business. It's like stepping into the 1950's (minus the smoking indoors). I ordered their potato leek soup and a turkey melt. The soup was quite good, but they put way too much Russian dressing on the sandwich. The service was very attentive and it was reasonably priced. I bet their breakfasts are excellent. I also wish I had ordered a milkshake...maybe next time! read more

This diner in Derry is a fun place to go, that has consistency, quality and value. I could easily become a regular here if I lived in the area, as the quality of food and service, make this an easy place to fall in love with. We ate here several times during our visit, and the food was perfectly prepared each time, and the amount of food you get for the price is great, for example, a large Orange Juice, 32 ounces will run you the meager sum of $3.49, yup you read that right! Our bill ran $22.50 almost every time both of us went, that was for 2 meals, coffee and either iced tea or large orang juice, I feel that's a great deal. This is my third time ordering breakfast from this establishment on DoorDash, before AND after COVID. For reference I live right down the street, the orders are always quick I have my food within a half hour of placing the order so the issue is not travel time or anything. I always want to give a place multiple shots before making a decision but All three meals were awful honestly. I would not recommend ordering out from this place, dine in only. They must not care at all about their delivery orders because every single time the food is bland and half cooked. My French toast has consistently been disgusting - not battered correctly and barely fried I have yellow streaks of egg on the bread and some corners look like dry toast? It was completely tasteless too. Their pancakes are not much better. The Belgium waffle was OK but it's hard to mess up a waffle iron. No care or quality is put into cooking these meals from my experience. Maybe going in person is better but you can make better French toast by hacking it together yourself I bet. read more

I go to Derry two to three times a month on a Sat morning and Mary Ann's is the first stop. They give you an awesome breakfast for little money, the service is always fast and friendly. Everything is fresh all the time they have plenty of parking as well. I have three favorite breakfast places and Mary Ann's is one. read more

Being a Derry native for the past 2 decades, Mary Anne's is a household name in Derry. It's simply, "the spot" to get breakfast or some pretty basic luncheon. Throughout the years the restaurant has had its ups and downs, and I've had some bad experiences and some great ones. HOWEVER, I found my significant other and myself stumbling into Mary Anne's for the first time in a while the other day and I was blown away. Great service, great food and a great price. I had a chicken cutlet sandwich and it was PHENOMONAL. And for some reason, the Coca Cola at Maryanne's is so good. I don't know why. But anyways, real proud of the current team Mary Anne's has going on, I'll definitely be coming back more often. read more

I am a semi-regular here, maybe six or eight times a year. Most recent trip just before New Year's Eve 2016 (into 2017). Latest breakfast was two egg over easy with sausage strips and home fires, plus coffee. The price for the amount of food is a good value. Though the place was busy the service was on the ball. Coffee always seems to need a second sweetener to make it more tasty. The food itself always tastes good. The 50's motif is kind of old hat too me because I've been here many times, but if they changed it, I would probable flip. read more

Atmosphere is awesome. I love how the staff wears the poodle skirts. Food comes out on time, always hot, and very good. Prices are pretty decent. I can never get away from the breakfast menu, its just that good! Everyone from derry goes to MaryAnn's. When I was a senior in highschool, everyone would ALWAYS go to maryann's before going off to their adventures on senior skip day. The only down side, is that its only open until 2 in the afternoon. Thats simply not enough time. You pretty much have to be an early bird to go here. I work second shift and its very hard to get up early in the morning to actually enjoy a breakfast. My husband and I were told to check this place out. We were not disappointed. The waitstaff all were full of energy and quite friendly. We had a basic breakfast order of pancakes and bacon, it was served quickly, was hearty and very tasty. Our coffee cups were filled constantly and we thoroughly enjoyed that, as most times, that is overlooked at the places we frequent here at home. First off, this place is VERY busy at all times. The decor is cool and vintage, but doesn't feel "old" or "dated". My dish was good (eggs Benedict) but my side order stole the show! Raspberry BBQ steak tips! They were the best thing I've had in a while. The meat itself was good and the sauce was out of this world! It was pretty sweet though, so I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for a spicy dish. If I wasn't a vegetarian now I'd easily return just for the steak tips! I also got a chocolate shake that was HUGE and easily enough for 2 people! The eggs Benedict was delicious & a big serving just like the shake. The one thing I didn't like, was that our waitress was very inattentive. My mom finished her drink & placed it on the edge of the table but our waitress never came back to offer a refill. Mary Ann's Diner is the breakfast spot that my fiance and I both love. For me, I love a nostalgic diner with no-frills, stick-to-your-ribs food--so Mary Ann's doesn't disappoint. The homefries are the best we've had in Southern NH, the service is fast and always with a smile, and the coffee is good (I drink coffee black, so I count on a true good cup of coffee).
