On this evening, we had the pleasure of seeing Hotel California; a Toronto, Canada based coverband for the Eagles! What a treat! It was 2 hrs (with 15 min intermission) of pure nostalgia! It's stately looking but inside is rather dated. I came here to watch a live show with Ira Glass, one of the OG podcasters. The show itself was good, but as a superfan who has seen a lot of his work it was dull to see a lot of his old hit an no new material. No fault of the theater itself, but the seating wasn't ideal. The theater is large, with old auditorium chairs that remind me of my elementary school and a tiny stage upfront without good acoustics. It's fine for local artists but I doubt you'd want to see anything large scale here.

My Wife and I could see after the first year this was not a school we wanted our daughter to learn in. I walked in to Scilla one day and struck up a conversation with Mr. Gary. I explained that I was unhappy at our current dance studio and was looking for a change. Mr. Gary left me with a good feeling that Scilla was where we wanted to be. 8 years and many fond memories later we are still at Scilla. Was recommended by my sister in law after a previous horrific experience…read moreat another school for my daughter nearby my house (even though this is the same distance from last school and not realizing it) She is currently taking beginning ballet 2 and it was the best experience I could ever ask for. Everyone is so nice and professional that it was an amazing departure from the last school that I took my daughter to! Showed up 1st day of class on time and they were ready to go. It's because all the information were given to us during registration without any guessing game like I had in the last dance school. My daughter learned so much about ballet with techniques that she knew what most of the terms are and showed me the moves that goes with it. The year before in another school was just prancing around with no particular techniques being shown (which I can do at home with music on). Mind you, she was still having fun at this school. Also, school was very flexible and nice about make up. My daughter's elementary school suddenly held an enrichment program for her during her class schedule for 3 months and we rearranged her schedule so that we were able to have her catch up on her dance moves without missing a beat. No fuss from getting her costume (in which they take the time to measure all the dancers), pic day, getting tickets, dress rehearsal and the actual recital because everything was communicate VERY CLEARLY on emails and tickets are order online like everyone should in this day and age and not wait online in the hot sun like the last school I went to. Reason I kept saying last school (you can read my previous review) was because I had it soooooo bad for a year before, something this organized and easy is a very welcoming experience for any parent.
