    Lasagna, greasy.

Food - classic Italian Service - friendly and efficient Ambiance - family style, moderate noise. Nothing fancy. Homeless guy hacking up a lung and spitting multiple times into a Starbucks cup he brought in detracts from the experience. He is using his finger to get every bit of butter out of the containers while eating his soup. Feel like I am in downtown San Francisco as he licks his roll. Compassionate of me side set him a pizza, no thank you but he was grateful. Not bothering anyone but the Hawk Tuah into the cup catches your attention. Just FYi... A little expensive but you get a lot of food. Downside - NO senior menu at all for those older or on a diet.

    Burnt and terrible tasting

Still terrible. I have been three times in six years and it only seems to get worse and worse in this location. Nothing like some burnt mini pesto bread sticks. Although I dont remember asking for mini or burnt.

Great lunch!!! I had a bunless bacon cheeseburger, fries and house salad. My sister had the turkey sandwich on focaccia bread with a house salad. My brother in law had a bacon cheeseburger with fries. And my dog had a plain hamburger patty. The waitress was great! We sat in a nice corner away from everyone, and my little Maltese service dog sat on a chair (as he has been trained to do). The restaurant was nice and cool, it was hot outside. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I didn't get pics of everything, but here is what I have.

My husband and I enjoyed a delicious lunch here today. Being a picky eater who loves fresh and healthy options makes it difficult for me to try new places in fear I will be disappointed. Delighted to say everything here tasted delicious and extremely fresh! We each had a Turkey Supremo sandwich, my husband added bacon to his. The focaccia bread was seasoned well and soft, we ordered our sandwiches "hot", which toasted the bread slightly. I enjoyed the starter salad and the minestrone soup as well. Highly recommended from a picky and healthy eater! Our server was friendly and attentive, staff was friendly and engaging! The restaurant is extremely clean and a comfortable place to have lunch.

$6 worth of fries that were ice cold and undercooked on most

All I can say is Wowwww. They are so rude and inept. Completely shocked about my experience. Ordered online. I was roughly 6 minutes after proposed completion time. Walk in and there's a few people in line ahead of me. During such time a server walks by abruptly and was a couple inches from me without saying excuse me, or anything. Tight quarters considering the space and people. A bit rude but ok whatever... but as my experience escalates to more rudeness, duly noted with her. My turn at register. Different person and no hi nothing. "Pick up"she says. Yes and give my name. She goes to retrieve it and says nothing and just hands it to me. Hmmm ok everyone's kinda just weird. Take food home to find the side order of fries we paid for was so small and ice cold. See pic for what $6 of fries gets you here. Ridiculously small portion. I decide to call and inform them. On hold for 10 minutes waiting for manager. It's close to closing time. I hang up and call again. Young man answers. I inform him I just called and was on hold for 10 minutes thinking I was forgotten. He said manager is busy. I said I get that but no one came back to the phone and then he interrupts me, raises his voice and says "Ma'am our manager is busy and she doesn't have time etc etc... extremely rude Ummm I'm sorry this is not where you get to be right. You would think someone would take your name and number Screw this place... I was looking for a new Italian spot and had been frequently ordering from here. No issues until last night. I worked in the food industry for 6 years. I get kids aren't what they used to be, but standards and expectations should be adhered to and consistent. You cannot fix what you do not know about, but now I'm letting them know this way since their phone skills are lacking. Horrible, horrible place. Do better. Would have given it a zero if that was an option.

Grabbed some lunch after a round of pickleball and had a lovely experience. We were seated immediately. Our waitress was attentive to us, and was able to meet all our needs while balancing a busy large party next to us. I ordered some pasta, which was fresh and very good. The rest of my party had pizza and everyone was satisfied. The establishment was clean, and we were happy w supporting a local business. Thank you!

This location is usually on top of their game. I stopped in for a birthday dinner. Since I last been in they had an eggplant sandwich on a focaccia. But had since changed up the menu. I decided on sandwich with a lime salsa Verde/cabbage. It was actually delicious. My gripe is about my daughters burger she ordered. She never asked for a plain one. But they brought out a plain one. No fixings, not even cheese. It probably would have not been that bad to eat if it was a traditional hamburger bun, but it was not....the bread was a bit hard and of course dry to bite into because there was no condiments on it. We sent it back they put some toppings on... but no condiments on the bread she just had a difficult time trying to eat this. By then her fries were cold . This has not deterred me from returning. I really love the food here. We just won't be ordering the burger anymore.

I would recommend the red sauce! Maybe add some garlic?

I will say this though, when my wife and I walked into this restaurant we already had the expectations that the food was going to be good. I said to my wife "With a last name like Napoli, how can you go wrong?" See this History is that I'm half Italian and that my Grandparents also had the last name of Napoli and so I knew this place was going to be great. So as we entered we were told to sit anywhere we like. After sitting down the waitress came over and asked what we wanted to drink. We both told her that while we will put in our orders for the drinks, we also would like some Garlic Cheese Bread to eat as an appetizer until we decide to order our entrees. After a few minutes the best bread and marinara sauce came to our table and let me tell you that the bite wasn't just delicious it became a memory taking me back to the times when I used to eat this type of delicious food at my Grandparents' house. I knew right then this was going to be the Italian place that we would continue to visit every time we came to Vacaville. We both ordered the Raviolis and while we ate our bread and the marinara sauce, another order of bread came out but this time it was with our entrees. As we continue to enjoy the food, a few minutes later the waitress came with our entrees. Let me tell you, the only thing that lacked on this entree was more Marinara sauce but from the bite of the garlic cheese bread, to a bite of the raviolis everything was delicious. So grateful that we found an opportunity to find an authentic Italian restaurant. Can't wait to return and have the regular Spaghetti noodles or the Penne. The restaurant had a nice Italian-themed decor and we were led to a cozy section towards another part of the restaurant. Nereida ("Neri") was our amazing server. Very friendly and engaging. From their lunch menu I ordered the Spaghetti with Salsiccia $22 and my daughter opted for the Prawn, Fish Tip, Clam Meat Scampi $26. We had different servers who attended to us and they're both friendly and looked cheerful. We got there towards the end of Happy Hour and was presented with their Happy Hour menu. The menu is small, easy to read and has almost everything we'd want for that time of day - including the drinks. The food is a 'hit' or 'miss'. Here's my review: Drinks: Both the Arnold Palmer and the Cadillac Margarita were good. My lemonade tea wasn't overly sweet and I could definitely taste the lemonade. The pitcher of Cadillac Margarita looks innocent but may give someone a slow and powerful buzz if you're not used to the drink. (4.75 of 5) Charcuterie: This a complete appetizer board. Overall, there were some hits and misses, however, we agreed this is a well thought out appetizer board. (4 of 5) Crispy Brussels Sprouts: This is the best dish here, featuring deeply caramelized, dark golden-brown edges and a nutty, earthy flavor. Their Crispy Brussels Sprouts is also the best we've had. The seasoning is on-point, allowing the texture to show off its crackling, crunchy bite on the outside, contrasted by a tender, melt-in-your-mouth interior. (5 of 5) Seasonal Tacos: "Oh WOW!" The explosion of spicy and tangy flavours balanced by contrasting textures makes this dish "pop". (4.75 of 5) Beet Salad: The colours were lovely, but this beet salad was over-salted. The vibrant dish featuring beets as the main ingredient, balances the earthy sweetness with contrasting textures and flavours. If this wasn't too salty, it would have been more refreshing. (3.75 of 5) Coconut Lime Bouillabaisse (halibut, jasmine rice, spinach, snap pea, pickled shiitake mushroom, coconut lime broth, basil oil): Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought Bouillabaisse means seafood. The only seafood we noticed were chunks of halibut, which were delicious. This dish looks and tastes more like an elevated Thai soup dish that cost too much. (3.5 of 5) After walking in, we decided to sit outdoors because of the loud music that was playing. We're glad we did. The overhang on the veranda was well positioned with plants and flowers softening the cement walkway. The weather was pleasant - with a gentle breeze blowing down the corridor. Parking is easy if you arrive early enough. One last note: Back Door Bistro in Vacaville was featured on "Check, Please! Bay Area"

During that time, with numerous servers around me, none of the staff even interacted with me. So, I called it at 20 minutes and left. This isn't even the first time I've had an experience like this. If things are going to be like this, OG could at least implement ordering the entire menu from the ziosk because I used to really like going to this Olive Garden location.
