Not good. No caramelization or smoke flavor.

We wanted this to be good. It's so close and has great outdoor seating. But it's not. Save your money. Seem like good guys but they don't know bbq. The meat tastes bland like it' is baked in an oven and then slathered in sauce. No smoke flavor or caramelization on ribs or burnt ends at all. The sides weren't good either. The Mac and cheese was terribly overcooked. Like mush. Save your money.

The meat was not only tender, but incredibly flavorful. The firmness was just right, so you could leave a bite mark on it. One time I got a beef rib with little meat on it. The owner gave me a replacement. It's a good idea to say something if you happen to get bad meat.

Simple bbq food truck with food home style bbq. The Texas Twinkies were delicious and a were a medium hot in spice. The pulled pork was on point, moist and flavorful (my favorite). It had good smoke and sweetness to the pork. The sausage was tasty, had good flavors but a tad too dry for my liking. Good service, fair pricing, tons of homemade sauce choices, and appreciate the generosity in sampling the meats choices.

I was very happy to stumble upon this place! Soooo good! The bbq was prepared so well and the slaw I got was so good! The guy working the food truck was really nice. I'd reccomend stopping here!

This was our first time eating at this establishment we were so excited as we live in a small town so good options are more limited. It's a new spot with many different food places/choices all in one space called the Phoodery. We really love BBQ so we opted for Ma's my fiancé ordered and the women working the counter were rude and couldn't even fake being happy or crack a smile. He got the Pulled Pork w/ bbq sauce, jalapeños, slaw and pickled onions with a side of Mac and Cheese. When we got the sandwich it was very lightly dressed with bbq so he kindly went up to ask for a little extra and was met by a what do you want from one of the ladies working the line. Overall the sandwich was good. The mac and cheese was not great or very creamy it had more of a curdled appearance. 4 stars for the sandwich ~ 0 Stars for the service it was so bad that I had to give an overall experience a 3 we came on a Sunday noonish.

    Pulled pork and ribs

Great roadside find after a long day of sightseeing. Friendly owners and fall-off-the bones tender and tasty ribs as well as pulled pork. Yummy sides included their own baked beans, potato/mac salad, Mexican corn. Highly recommended!

Welcome to the neighborhood for our newest coffee shop! Last weekend was Ceremony's soft opening…read moreand this was their first week. In short: great pastries, great drinks, good vibes! FOOD: Ceremony had a good supply of bagels and pastries to choose from. Their homemade bagels were tall and fluffy and the chipotle schmear was spicy and fresh. No skimping out here! My bagel was chock full of chipotle deliciousness. For pastries, we tried their beautiful Chocolate Babka which was FILLED with chocolate. The cinnamon roll was with a cream cheese frosting (my personal favorite choice for cinnamon rolls) with orange zest to finish. DRINKS: Along with your standard coffee drinks here (coffee, latte, cappuccino etc) they also had several specialties such as a Rose mocha, fennel maple latte, and Carmel cream nitro cold brew. I tried the cappuccino and the Carmel cream nitro. When it comes to espresso based drinks. I tend to be pretty picky but both the quality of coffee was excellent and the "pull" of espresso was great as well. The owners of Ceremony also own Cerberus coffee so it's roasted locally. SERVICE: Normally when there's a new business, I try to be generous in my reviews knowing they may need to work out kinks but the team functioned like a well-oiled machine. Even with consistent flow of customers coming through the door, they were efficient and quick with the drinks and there was hardly a wait. All the employees were friendly and warm and the owners were also present and take clear pride in their business. SEATING: the building is pretty generous in size so it's quite roomy. Right now there is primarily smaller tables and chairs which works perfectly- but the owners told us they're going to add a bench seating all along one of the walls which I think will help pull the area together well and I look forward to that addition

The second I saw on IG that their special was (what I call) a bánh mì-inspired pizza, I knew it had my name written all over it. It was absolutely outstanding, and honestly, I wish I had eaten it there because it deserved to be enjoyed fresh. The pepperoni is still a favorite every single time. The potato wedges remain undefeated, but LORDT... dipping them in the chimichurri sauce (because I like making adventurous sauce choices) took them to a whole new level. The wings weren't my personal favorite, but once I gave them the chimichurri treatment, everything was right again. And finally... the chocolate cake. I obviously had to get right into it (I have no picture to show for it). I generously shared two bites with my significant other before happily devouring the rest myself. No regrets.

It was barely enough for one person, about the same size as a Blaze pizza. It was surprising to see this kind of trendy spot in the area--and honestly, where did all the hipsters come from? Since I only had time for about one meal in Ashland, and there are so many interesting sounding places, it was hard to pick one. I chose Ruby's because there is a diner by the same name that I love in Santa Barbara. Also, the menu looked decent on Yelp. The chipotle chicken sandwich featured marinated dark chicken meat topped with fresh tomatoes, red onions, and coleslaw. The flavor of the chicken and the coleslaw was so bomb, and complemented each other perfectly. The bread was kind of like a small French roll. Very soft, fresh, and tasty. It didn't come with any sides, but the price was reasonable, and just the sandwich was enough for me. The inside of the restaurant was very small and cozy. I had planned to go outside when my food came up, but I was so hungry, and it looked so good, I ended up devouring it right there. I barely even had time to snap a pic of half of my sandwich at the "Forever Alone" booth where I was sitting. Staff was friendly and the ambiance was quirky but cute. As a plus, this is a great area to just walk around and explore all the local stores and scenery for a few hours or so. Would def stop by here again if there weren't a million other great sounding places to explore within a quarter-mile radius.
