    Chicken Tikka Masala

Honestly the best Indian food I've had in WA so far!! We ordered takeout on a Wednesday evening and the order was prepared super quick. The saag paneer was honestly the best I've ever had anywhere. The chicken tikka masala was really good but not spicy at all (but that's my fault for ordering mild, I got scared from all the reviews saying their food was too spicy). And the naan was so soft and doughy. Not too bad of prices for Indian food either! Safe to say this will be our new go-to to-go Indian food!!

Finally an Indian restaurant in Maple Valley! The biriyani is good - tried a couple varieties and liked the bezwada one the best. , Chettinad chicken curry was too salty for our palette and the mango lassi was nice. Service is good! It's more a take out place or a quick dine in. Overall love the ease of getting Indian food in the area.

Wow!!!! Amazing! Finally an India takeout spot in Maple Valley. It may not look special, but once you take a bite, you will be amazed by how much flavor is packed into their dishes. The bezwada chicken biryani, chicken tikka masala, butter chicken masala, and chicken chettinadu were all good. Their dishes are spicy, so if you don't like spicy, be careful. Even the mild dishes had some spice in them. My family will definitely be ordering takeout from here regularly.

The restaurant itself is on the smaller side, and I noticed a lot of people were ordering takeout online while we were there. Food Portion sizes were fair for the price, and they offer many vegetarian and vegan options. Highly recommend getting the garlic naan with any dish. Foods tried: Garlic naan - Hot and fresh, slightly crispy with a nice savory flavor. Samosa appetizers - Comes with two, but they are pretty large and very filling. Chicken tikka masala - Served in a deceptively large portion and very savory. Lamb biryani - Kind of like their version of fried rice, served with a mild yogurt sauce on the side. Service Servers were friendly. The only downside was that the food took a little while to come out, but the wait was worth it. Overall I've been here twice already and will definitely be back again. The food I've tried so far gives me confidence that you can't really go wrong ordering anything off the menu.

The portions have gotten smaller while the prices have gone up, the lamb is very tough and fatty and no longer tender, and the spice level is not what it used to be. I used to order a spice level 5 and barely be able to eat it, now I order a 7 and almost asked for hot sauce on the side because it tasted like a 1. I love the chicken 65 but it is now less than half of what I used to receive. The server was nice but walked away mid order to answer the phone, it just felt off. The restaurant is clean. In today's economy there's just not enough value for me and I won't be visiting much anymore.

We came in for lunch and got the Fried Fish, Mutton Varuthakari, Parotta, Iddiyappam, Dahi Sev Poori, two desserts, and a Chicken Biryani to take home. Everything was delicious -- the curry was excellent, with flavorful mutton and plenty of spice. The fish was especially delicious: crispy, spicy, and juicy, and probably the star of the meal. The Sev Poori was fun too, and the Parotta and Iddiyappam were quite good as well. The desserts were lovely. The Chakka Pradhaman was great, with the jackfruit flavor present but not overpowering, and the gulab jamun was nice as well. The biryani was also amazing. It's a very wholesome biryani and it hits a particular spot for us Malayalis (the cashews and the small grain rice are a part of that), and will keep us coming back many more times. Everything was top notch, and you could sense an attention to detail that separates Aahaar from many other restaurants. This was reflected in the warm, friendly staff and in the high degree of quality across all of the dishes. Overall, a lovely experience. We recommend Aahaar highly!

Ambiance is good too. That said- reg this visit - although the Sadhya offered 20 items, I felt that it was at best a good try of the real deal but lacked in so many ways. I've been coming to this kitchen for the past few years now, and have followed them from the Kent/Covington location simply because they are the best. It truly is a treat for the whole family when we dine here. Again, I cannot stress enough, how great the food is, the service is outstanding, and whether you're taking out or dining in, you'll love the smell as soon as you open the door.

Perfectly seasoned, tender, served on a bed of onions and peppers - absolutely delicious. We also ordered the Butter Chicken, Dal Makhani, Garlic Naan, and Mango Lemonade, and everything tasted freshly made and full of flavor. There was a bit of a wait because they were working on a large catering order, but honestly, the freshness made it well worth it. The owner and chef came out to talk with us and shared that while the Auburn location is new, the business itself isn't as they recently moved from Kent due to her husband's illness. Her warmth and pride in her food really came through. I'll definitely be back anytime I'm in the area, especially to try more of the tandoori dishes. A true hidden gem.
