Fantastic communication leading up to the appointment. Be ready for them, and maybe even ready early, because these guys waste no time and get to work as soon as they arrive. In our case they even got done with the first job of the day early and we were thrilled to get the work done even sooner than expected! Had an appointment for 2:00 and they got done at 2:30! MASH Movers was great! Their communication was great leading up to the date of the move and they were very efficient while moving all of my furniture. I even had a clunky box spring that couldn't be moved down the stairs and had to be moved out from a second story window and they managed to accomplish it without any damage. These guys are amazing. I moved from my 3-bedroom house of 32 years to a 1-bedroom apartment. Granted, the apartment has a little bitty office but still -- it was quite a change. I'd gotten rid of a lot of stuff but plenty remained. I was a bit in shock over the whole thing and just basically sat on the couch while the MASH team moved stuff out. They wrapped a few fragile lamps, vases, etc., in blankets, and they were careful with everything. Yet they were fast; everything was in the truck within an hour. At the apartment they managed beautifully despite a ridiculously small freight elevator. The entire job was over in about three hours. Throughout, they were incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and pleasant. This is a seriously fine moving company. Highly recommended. read more

Most efficient and easy move I've ever had. I priced about 10-15 different movers and found them to be the most reasonable. They actually do what they say, are on time, and are thorough in unloading. I contacted these guys on the recommendation of a friend about a move in late July, and they were immediately responsive which was really reassuring. Scheduling was so easy, and they were flexible with trying to work with me. They gave me a quote when I was scheduling, and stuck to it. No hidden fees, and super affordable rates. I had to work the first half of my moving day, and they were really accommodating and understanding when I got off work a few minutes late and they had to wait for me there. They wrapped all of my furniture and were really diligent with organizing everything in the truck so that everything was safe and wouldn't bang around. I have multiple pieces of antique furniture and everything was wrapped with care and moved very safely. I wasn't worried at all. Super professional, but still friendly. I felt like I lucked out, like I just had a few super professional buddies moving me into my new home. By the end of the day, we were trading book and podcast recommendations. The icing on the cake was when they even reassembled my bed at the new apartment and weren't even annoyed when I couldn't decide where I wanted it and made them move it twice. MASH Movers is an excellent company. I have used them twice to move, the first move was in March of 2019, and the other was in October of 2020. I will continue to use MASH whenever I need to move again as well as recommend them. I was nervous about moving during a pandemic, but I felt at ease with the three movers on the job. They had masks on, were careful with my items, helped me to disassemble my bed frame, and wrap it. They were polite and efficient. Seth and his two man crew did a fantastic job moving two 1BR apartments' worth of possessions into our duplex. It's been a few weeks and we've not found a single thing that was damaged or mishandled, even the Amish wood furniture I have - they batted a 1000! I was impressed it only took them 3.5 hours, even with a stop to pickup a washer and dryer at a friend's house. They were on time, courteous, friendly and efficient. Really can't say enough about how pleasant our experience with MASH was, especially during a pandemic. Booking and scheduling were painless, and they were very communicative leading up to the move date to make sure all of our questions were answered. On the day of, their three-person team was extremely prompt, organized and courteous -- they took great care with all of our more fragile stuff, including artwork, furniture, glass and even a big potted plant or two, and moved us out of a 2 BR, 1 BA to our new place five miles away in two hours flat.
