I love that they cut the chicken like this, it makes it much easier to eat. The Chicken was tender. My plate came with a base which I picked rice and two sides. They had a good amount of options to pick from. My two sides were french fries and spicy hummus. Both sides were okay. The service was good. My plate was ready when I got there and interaction was nice and easy. Overall, a good place to grab and go for your Mediterranean eats.

I never write yelp reviews but with the experience I had today I needed to share. If I could give this place a zero I would. Don't get me wrong the food and sweets are great but customer service is beyond horrible. I'm of middle eastern descent and I understand english is a second language to most employees working there but it's starting to effect the business due to poor communication. The lady we met with to take our cake order barely spoke any English and we communicate through hand singles and photos. She continued to tell us "my english is bad but I understand what you want." She also stated if there were any problem or questions someone will call us. The cake we ordered was a small 2 tier cake: top tier gold glitter ombré to black and bottom tier a black and white stripe. We sent her 3 photos of examples and I also drew something out while sitting there. She said no problems I got it. Picking up the cake today for my mother's surprise 60th birthday party, I wanted to break down.. I don't think they understood the glitter or the ombré part, they just poured a jar of goldish brown sugar square sprinkles all over the top tier falling to the second tier. It looked like dirt to be honest. As we tired to explain that this isn't even close what we order I asked if we can at least change the top tier to all black fondant, long story short they sent me to the Burbank location to get it "fixed" where I was insulted by a man that working there saying "I'm only complaining about the cake is because I don't want to pay and I'm struggling for money." It's not ok to be treated like this at all. I ordered a cake with professionals and it's not what I ordered or nothing close to it, if I wanted a cake that looked unthought about and thrown together last minute I would I made it myself. They didn't fix the cake they just threw a bandaid on it which made it worse in my opinion. I just wish they told they couldn't do it and we would of found a different bakery. read more

here is the story of Masis Bakery, take a look at teh photo of teh cake ordered and what we got, besides, inside the cake was hard ice and we couldnt cut, after calling Masis Bakery, 6 times we got an answer that " oohhh did you cut it right away? it seems like we had to keep it for decoration for 24 hours then cut it so 1st advise: order a day ahead, then the Edible Food Coloring that they use is completely approved by FDA, but dont order anything except White, when complained about the stain on my guests teeth, fingers and clothes, the respond was, because you ordered Blue, 2nd advise nothing but white so you wont get stains everywhere. then why the cake is not like the picture, because we charged you less than everywhere else, 3rd advise: whatever they quote you for your order, pay them double so they wont mess the cake. and since they dont care about their reviews and nothing will ruin their reputation I decided to take it to social media, as the lady i guess Marieta or ... told me go do whatever you want, i guess it was very hard ice inside they couldnt cut the midle of 4 and 0 so take your tools with you, if you dont want to follow my suggestions prepare a big trash can next to the birthday table read more

Masis Bakery has been our go to store for all of our fundraisers for MDS (club at UCLA). They always make everything fresh on the spot and are able to provide students fundraising discounts in order to assist with the mission of our club. We've always been greeted so nicely by the cashiers. Our top order has to be the ponchiks (we think Masis makes it best in the Valley). It's not skimpy on the filling and is perfectly medium sized unlike other ponchiks we have tried. We've also ordered custom jam ponchiks from them as well which has turned out delicious. Almost everything that I've tried here has been absolutely wonderful, and with the prices (I'll walk out with a large box filled with goodies for $15.00.) I'm a huge fan of their fruit tarts, both sizes and their large cake version, and the various mousses. I agree with the other Yelps - the Vozni definitely deserves to be mentioned, and is a frequent purchase of mine. I always appreciate the patience of the staff while I peruse their vast selection. They also usually throw in a loaf of delicious bread on the house which is a nice touch. I'm not usually a fan of baked treats and hardly ever set foot in a bakery, but gladly make an exception for this place. read more

Bad place, rude, and bad customer service the guy who was baking and giving the food to the customer was smoking, i went there few weeks ago around 9:00pm and the guy i think that was the owner was working behind the freezer, i was trying to give my order and as soon as he turned back i saw he is smoking, i was shocked for few second, dude this is food facility why are you smoking inside of bakery, i walked away. Absolutely delicious ponchiks, mini slices, and holiday treats. Their Paskas are so delicate and detailed! The food is always so delicious! I always order my custom cakes from them as the quality is always so fresh and tasty. There is no bakery in the local area that makes their cakes as light fluffy and delicious as Masis. The fresh strawberry custard vanilla cake is my favorite cake from this bakery! They have the most moist cakes and are always accommodating with the designs and price. Ok so I decided to try Armenian food at this place. Loved it!!!!! I ordered the kabob plate $4.99 for a nice grilled kabob, rice, pita bread, grilled tomato, and green pepper. So much food and so tasty. So employees talk Armenian to each other, so what? In Mexican restaurants they speak Spanish, in Chinese they speak Chinese. I had pre-ordered a 100$ worth of meat for a birthday party and was told it would be ready at 6pm today. When I arrived at 6:15 with my receipt, they had nothing ready -and to my shock they forgot my order!!! I had 30 guests waiting for a warm meal and had nothing! I have ordered their pastries and they seem to be a bit dry, but I still eat them. My favorite are the Nazook's. Busy place, long wait but thats expected. Will give more stars when customer service improves. They loaded it up with fresh veggies and the tzatziki sauce was creamy, garlicky, and just the right amount--not overpowering. Portion size was great for the price, and everything tasted fresh. You can tell they care about quality. Definitely coming back for this again. If you're craving a solid chicken gyro, this spot won't disappoint!

Inside is fairly large with many different size tables so they can host many different sized groups. One thing I love about these sort of places is the service and this spot did not disappoint. Our waitress was extremely polite and everything that we ordered came out super fast. There is a small free parking lot attached in front otherwise free street parking is also easy to find. I love how eclectic it is on the inside, every inch of the wall is covered in a collage of American memorabilia and various different things from various different places. It's really fun to glance at all of it while you're waiting for your food. As you would expect the menu is very large and filled with all sorts of diner classics. For this breakfast, I chose the Chili Cheese Omelette and really enjoyed it. It was a large sized portion and had some great flavor to it. The coffee is also really strong and I was a big fan of that as well. I would definitely recommend if you are in the area and make sure to bring cash.
