We went pretty late, after 8:30pm. It did not seem like a long drive through line, but did take quite some time. The price was fairly reasonable for what we got. We spent less than $19 for all the food we got. The tacos were ok. I typically love corn tacos, but the tortillas were not great, a bit too soggy for my liking. The best taco out of the three I got was the Al Pastor. The carne asada was ok. I didn't really like the birria taco. I'm not sure if the birria on the taco is different from the torta, or if it was just the toppings. The birria torta tasted a lot better. Overall, it wasn't the worst option for late (weekday) night tacos. It was definitely worth it for the value. I do not think we will be regulars here. read more

I normally have had a decent experience here but this time was just not it. The wings ordered were good. But the fries were terrible. They were soggy burnt and taste like the oil was old. The carnitas delicious but the burrito was lazily thrown together and fell apart when you moved it. Not to mention there was a hair in my daughter's fries. It looked like one of those ginormous eyelashes the girls inside were wearing. There were zero napkins in the bag no limes for the food. Just wasn't their best performance. read more

I've been here a few times before, but after my experience yesterday I felt I needed to share. I ordered my food and asked for it to go, but it was packed as dine-in by mistake. I politely asked if it could be bagged up for me instead, and the response I received was very disappointing. The staff, including the cook, had a really negative attitude. I understand that mistakes happen, but it shouldn't be taken out on the customer. I hope the service improves because this was a really unpleasant experience. read more

The wife and I ate here recently and we were both pleasantly surprised at how good this place is. For whatever reason, most places here in The Valley, if it has a physical location then they tend to suck. This place bucks that standard. We ate in during lunchtime and this place gets busy! Service can be a little slow because of that, but not terribly. We both got the taco special. Not sure if that's just a promotion due to just opening but it's three tacos (rolled or regular), refried beans, rice, and a fountain drink all for $7.99. We both could have used one to two more tacos each to fill us up, but we didn't leave hungry. Everything was delicious! Music was just loud enough to drown out convos at other tables but not too loud to have to yell at each other to talk. Fairly chill vibe. The only reason for the 4/5 stars is just because the wait was a little extra due to the lunch hour rush and if you have a short lunch, that could be an issue. Otherwise, everything was great and we'll definitely be back. It's entered my top three for tacos close to home along with Joe's Tacos and Tacolicioso, the only stationary location to make the list. read more

Have been waiting for them to open. And finally!!! My husband got the birra torta and I got 2 queso pastor tacos. Everything was delicious! Red salsa is spicy and flavorful. The green salsa is not as hot but so good. We will be going back to try more of the menu. read more

I'm not sure what's wrong with the girl with the drive-through window (copper hair) today, but her attitude is disgusting. Probably won't be coming back if this continues to happen because why am I going to spend my money at an establishment where I'm being treated disrespectfully by the employee so getting paid to be there. First time here. Like some others been waiting for this place to open. Walked in to a place to order. Girls at the front I do agree seem flustered and cannot get order correct because the music is too loud s as she has to keep asking me what over and over and still when we finally got out food we were missing stuff. However I will lend grace as I know they just opened and are still trying to figure things out. But really the music is to loud and also Nikki Minaj singing cus word music in my option is not appropriate with a family setting little kids around atmosphere. Onto the actual food I ordered carne asada tacos the meat is really finely diced and no fat at all. Pretty flavorful but not a lot on each taco. Also not much cilantro and onion either. The limes were a little dry and the radishes seemed older. The Horchata was really good. Like I said I'm giving them a chance to get their feet on the ground and will be back to see how they are doing especially with service. The service people are the make it or break it of a business such as this and you all should try to work on being more proactive and engaging so your customers feel more welcome and want to come back. read more

I love Cali Tacos! Anytime someone asks for a suggestion on mexican food, i ALWAYS recommend Cali Tacos. I have only ever gone to the Lower Buckeye location. I do not mind the drive at all and the long wait because the food and the service is just top notch at that location. This location, meh not so much. The cashier did not seem to know the menu too well and messed up my mom's order. While the rest of my family had their food ready, my mom had to wait for her food to be made again! I have a doggie and if i go out to eat i always check to see if a restaurant allows dogs. Per Yelp, Apple maps and Google!! this restaurant states that they are pet friendly. A worker asked if my dog was a service animal, I said "no, it says online that you welcome pets". she walked away. She came back to ask to see where it says that, i showed her. That rubbed me the wrong way. Like I said in the beginning, i enjoy Cali Tacos, but i will no longer recommend this location. I will just go back to the Lower Buckeye location. read more

I love this place it's close to home and the food is bomb every single time . I brought my friends from Chicago and they loved the price of the food right off the bay. Then we waited another 25 minutes after ordering our food to get to the drive thru window. The tacos are okay, if the line in the drive thru was not so long I would actually give them another chance, however being that it almost took an hour for the whole process I would probably never wait in this line again. Not what we expected as we have visited other locations. Would give zero stars based on this visit. Service could've been better, employees seemed flustered and lacked direction. The food was okay, some items we ordered were a little hard (sopes), they didn't have any hard tacos, they ran out. All four orders of asada/birria fries were really greasy and salty. Other tacos were okay, a little bland but edible. Rice was cold and soggy, beans were good. All five drinks were good and flavorful. Spent over one hundred dollars ($100+) and couldn't even get extra salsa without a charge for a really small one ounce cup. If you dine in you can eat all the salsa you want, but for to-go orders it's limited?? Also witnessed a female employee leaving the restroom, sticking her hand in her pants, retrieve her cell phone (from her pants), put her fingers in her mouth and go back to work, without washing her hands. Definitely need to make several improvements in proper sanitary practices and customer service. Will not recommend this location, nor will we be back to this location.
