He told me he would be out Friday, Jan. 23rd at 9am. Well, he was a no show and no call or text. I waited at home all day just in case he was running late but never heard a word. This is not a great way to do business. I manage other properties and always have work that needs to be done but I won't be wasting time with Amigo Electric. Since Friday, I found the name of the company I used before that was awesome, so I will be calling them in to fix the issues. This may have been a one time issue but it does not look well for the way they do business. This project was on Arboleda in South Reno.

It was taking 5-10 hours to dry one load of laundry. We called, and it was late in the evening, and the guys were able to come out first thing the next morning. They were so quick, extremely kind, and very efficient. they ran a new 220 line for us, and fix the issue with a 110 line we have. They also checked the rest of the outlets, and made sure everything else was good. The price they charge was extremely reasonable, and we expected to have to pay more than what they were asking. If and when we have more electrical needs, these will definitely be our guys! I couldn't recommend them more!

His office gal Heather is also great to work with, when I called to get an estimate Jerry was here the next day. Once we approved the estimate (which was very reasonable) Heather had us on the schedule for the following week. There was a cancellation and Heather reached out and was able to move it up four days earlier. She said that the guys would be here between 8:00-9:00 am, Jack arrived promptly at 8:00. We had two projects for them. 1) Install a ceiling fan in a location on a vaulted ceiling where there was none. I was nervous about how this was going to happen. We don't have much of an attic and I didn't know how they were going to get electricity to that location. Jack made it look so easy. 2) Was to move a light switch around the corner. We are opening a wall between the kitchen and living room and needed some wires moved, plus I wanted the light switch on the on the other wall. My husband insisted that it could not be done without ripping out part of that wall. He wanted me to leave it where it was. When Jerry arrived, he said it will be an easy fix (thanks Jerry for letting me win that battle ). My husband still had doubts but it came out perfect! If I could, I would give these guys a 10. Jack was great, he was so friendly and respectful, he covered all the floors and furniture with plastic and cleaned everything up before he left. He made sure there wasn't a speck of dust on the floor. The whole staff is professional, personable and courteous. I would highly recommend Jolt Electric to everyone. I was able to get my work pushed out in order to do this while keeping my original quote. After my original call, Jerry came out just 2 days later. He is great! I can tell that the big and small jobs that he's going to will be done efficiently. Jolt Electric was my 2nd and last bid on this work. I'm staying with them because they understood the work that I needed done and didn't try to up sell me. My 1st bid with another business were trying to sell me by thousands higher! Our technician arrived on time, diagnosed the issue and commenced replacement of the switch (using the parts my nephew purchased). All in all, the repair took about 30 minutes (from the time he arrived to when he left). Now I have happy dogs (because they live in front of the fireplace during winter). Stephen suggested putting the puck lights in a different place than we had originally considered, which made the puck light fixture almost invisible while providing all the light. On Mar 11, Joe added a wall switch to the other side of the closet and hard-wired three security cameras. Yet, I wanted to get other estimates. Trying the "warehouse" companies either they didn't show up or their pricing was definitely on the high side. I finally came to my senses and arranged an estimate with COLEMAN ELECTRIC. The owner (Greg) came over within a couple of days. He was professional, informative, and friendly. He listened to my concerns and presented a plan and generator to power the entire house (GENERAC 24kw). The plans were better than expected. A couple weeks later the generator was installed, inspected, and up and running. ALL of COLEMAN ELECTRIC employees were knowledgeable and informative. I would ask questions throughout the installation which were completely answered. Since then we've had one power outage and the generator worked like a charm! *With my recommendation, I've had 2 neighbors install generators with COLEMAN ELECTRIC. What the hell, scheduling a job with the electricians having a class on Thursday and then a 3 day weekend. I have to vacate the hotel on Wednesday 5/27. Went home to water my plants, the house is not even halfway done. I am so angry, but can't even think straight. Spoke with Caitlyn on the phone. I feel like there was a lot of miscommunication on their part. She promised me that my bedroom and bathroom would be done in time for me to check out of the hotel on the 27th. I will update my review after the job is finished. Misled, misinformed, lied to. I will be reporting this to the Nevada State Contractors Board. If you need an outlet or ceiling fan installed, fine. But for anything else, I do not recommend. Don't promise something if you can't complete the job. The owner just replied to this review. I'm tired of excuses. You "estimator knew everything about the house from the get go. He said "yeah we can do it". Maybe you need a new estimator Jesse. I'm tired of excuses. Oh, and another thing. NOT ONCE has anyone contacted me about the progress of the job, totally unprofessional.
