I love this place for the deals. You get a lot of food for a great price. Now the customer service is almost always up in the air. But what doesn't come with the customer service is made up in flavor. I typically get the Chicken strip meal with BBQ sauce. It comes with garlic bread and is ALWAYS hot. The food is made to order so there will be a wait but it is absolutely worth it. The Kool-Aid is very sweet. I like to mix it with the lemonade. Overall, I love this place. Had a taste for some Lemon pepper wings so stopped by to place my order and the young lady at the front was very pleasant as well as one of the guys from the back was going to use a coupon that I had through T Mobil and the young lady wasn't familiar with it as well as the young man so they called the owner and they had a cancellation with the company but it was still showing as if Mason's still participate so I spoke with the gentleman and he explained that they were no longer apart of it and offered me a couple of free drinks with my meal was very polite about the situation so I ordered my food and ordered the lemon pepper wings as well as the buffalo wings meal and the food was great the service was great will definitely visit again but over all the lemon pepper wings are far better than the buffalo oh and as always the place is always nice and clean read more

My first time trying this place & I'll rate it a 7.5... My favorite thing was the fresh lemonade! I've never had lemonade that tasted so good & not bitter. The fries were so good & the seasoning on them was good as well. The chicken was giving which was not a problem. I just would've liked it a little dark & crispy. The ranch was good with the chicken. Overall it wasn't a bad meal it was just mid & the waiting time was a little long. Which means they cook everything fresh. Went here to get some fried fish and shrimp. I got the the 48 piece fish nugget meal. It feeds a family of 5 and there's always enough for seconds. I used to go to the Cedar Hill location but I've moved so I went to the DeSoto location. The fish is well seasoned and delicious. I'm giving 4 stars because although there was no one at the restaurant when I pulled into the drive thru, I had to blow my horn AND THEN call because no one had come to the window. When they finally came To the window, I had to force them to show me that my food was ready since I'd given them 45 minutes instead of 20 to prepare my food. I ordered 3 different meals and after each one she asked if that was it ( in a tone like she was fed up for the day) I was still sitting at the speaker and kept saying hello to change something on my order and no one responded. I decided it was time to give it one more go at it. Maybe I had an off day? Maybe I caught someone having a bad day? Maybe I came at an inopportune time? Whatever the hell it was, my experience was NIGHT and DAY! I did not order the oysters, but I did get the 2 catfish and 3 shrimp combo. So, I get back to the office and two GARGANTUAN fillets were piping hot and sitting atop fresh fried shrimp, fries and 4 hushpuppy sticks (I would like to mention I didn't eat all of them as the 2 on the bottom melted the container and I didn't want to ingest melted styrofoam - maybe put a little wrapper or something?). Everything was good on its own merits, even the fried shrimp was so good it didn't require sauce; I was a bit surprised I didn't get any cocktail sauce but since I had some at the office we're ok. The cornmeal crust was so perfect on these catfish that you could break off sections of the fillet w/o disintegrating the whole thing (making dipping into the tartar sauce much easier). I was extremely disgusted by my experience this weekend. First, even though business appeared to be slow and there were at least 3 people working the following happened. 1. At the drive through speaker I waited several minutes to be greeted and finally get my order taken 2. I repeated it at least 3 times 3. When I approached the window the cashier didn't even look towards me although the window was open. She proceeded to talk and laugh with her co-workers for almost a minute 4. She verified the order and then closed the window without comment for 2-3 more minutes. 5. I finally received my order and got home to find that nothing was right about this order. 6. I called the restaurant back several times and got no answer 7. I texted the published contact number and explained my concerns. 8. I received a call from the number I had dialed several times earlier; the same cashier fumbled over her words to tell me that they could remake my food. (By now it was an hour later and it was dark and rainy outside). I explained that I just wanted my money back. 9. She finally said ok and took my name down but then offered me the remade food again. Ugh! 10. The next day I was lucky enough to arrive for my refund just as the owner arrived. I waited at least 5 minutes at the counter and no one greeted me. Plenty of time to notice the smell, the grime and dated finishes. 11. Finally got Mr. Nyguen's attention and since I wasn't given a receipt I finally pulled up my bank app to show him the transaction and he finally credited my card. This is after he mentioned that the remade food was under the warmer when he came in. WHAT???! 12. Apparently Mr. Nyguen thinks it's appropriate to post pictures of a man that used counterfeit money in his store. He posts it as the "wall of shame". Well, I think it's a shame that you don't realize how that makes customers feel. I felt embarrassed for our community and saddened that he would post a picture of the worst of us instead of presenting a business that can proudly serve the upright majority of us.
