Grabbed a bottle of wine here today! I've never been here and it was a pleasant surprise! It's a wine shop but you can grab a pizza, charcuterie, and other snacks with a glass of wine inside. They even have seating outside with fans! We will be back for sure! Great experience and customer service!

Decided to meet up here with some friends after work, it's a great location! Several different selections of wine, and I consider everything there to be very reasonably priced! Don't be scarred to ask questions, they really help you out. I had a tasty glass of white to start, that was drinkable and just the way I enjoy my whites, on the dry side. I had a rose wine flight, that was an interesting variety of flavors. We had a goat cheese, pesto with crackers that was tasty and perfect for sipping wine. To finish my friends and I split a sparkling rose that I very much enjoyed! Love this place, and can't wait to get back soon! Please check them out if you are in the area!

I stopped here with a friend while we were waiting on a table at a nearby restaurant. We were able to order a glass of wine and an order bread and oil. Very good! The atmosphere is super nice! Cozy and welcoming! 10/10 recommend going for a glass with a friend!

Delicious wine, cheesy, gooey, tasty, pizza, lovely staff who are knowledgeable about wine, intimate warm space.. yes please! I got to learn about Mass Ave Wine through the Circle City sippers wine club, and they are legit. I love learning about the different vintages, wine types... I never new Port is a Portugal style wine. Lol makes sense. They have a lot of different mixers, wine, cheese. A great place to connect with friends. Love the space, drinks, and everything.

Enjoyed a delicious and plentiful wine dinner at Mass Ave Wine tonight. A five course menu prepared by Lisa and Robin @massavewine with perfectly paired wines repped by informative Joseph, from @SkurnikWines. The wine shop provides an intimate setting for local wine enthusiasts to socialize and break bread. Mass Ave Wine provides a wide variety of wines that are unique and reasonably priced. Stop in to purchase a bottle (or two) of wine from a locally owned shop or join the wine tasting, every Tuesday at 5:30 or the wine dinner the third Monday of every month.

When I walked in the first time and saw a sign out front the read, "Wine is our Love Language" I knew I was going to like it. This is the diametric opposite of your huge liquor store. It has an intimate selection that has been curated by the owner Lisa. She hand picks every every thing she she brings in. As soon as you come I you are greeted warmly by her or her associate Amber. You can browse the shelves and they will bring it to the counter or the table for you. The prices are very reasonable and the service is wonderful.

Super cute place and great location. I had high hopes for our first visit! Visited with my spouse evening of 11/8 and had a very disappointing experience. We arrived at 7:45PM and were being rushed the moment we walked in. We were the only customers there but didn't really get any meaningful information or help from the staff member there. She just wanted to know when we were ready to check out. The interaction really just killed the whole experience.

Dedicating my #ThankYouThursday review to Mass Ave Wine shop. I've probably visited this cozy little wine shop for over a decade now and seem to appreciate it even more in the era of COVID. You begin to realize all of the life and fun action that happens in a space when you no longer can have it. Mass Ave Wine is known for hosting tasting nights, mini massages, game nights and so on. It feels like your neighborhood bar with a little extra pizzazz. We often find ourselves here to pick up a quick bottle of wine or explore their Vermouth and mixer options. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. During COVID, they're carryout only but you can still find all of the bottles and good vibes you'd expect on a regular day.

I like Mass Ave Wine for its quiet, relaxed atmosphere. It's a cozy wine specialty store, but you can hang out at one of the half dozen tables and enjoy some wine with your friends. They have very helpful staff who are happy to offer their insight and opinions to help with selecting the right wine. Very short food menu in case you need some calories to soften the booze, mostly salads, charcuterie, cheese, and sandwiches. Come here to kill an hour and slow down in the middle of your day on the town.

I've had this place on my radar as a spot to take one of my wine drinking friends, but for whatever reason, I had not made it in. So, I decided to stop by myself and check it out. The space is rather small with a wall of wine on the left, a display of bottled beverages (including spirits and beers) centered towards the front, and booth seating on the right. The order counter is just beyond the centered display with a chalkboard menu overhead. They have a small food prep area beyond the counter, so I waited as the lone employee prepared a charcuterie board for one of the other patrons. After the short delay, the employee greeted me and poured a flight of port wines for me: three 2 oz. samples. One, a lighter port was from France. I followed that with one from Portugal and ended with a fruitier California variety. I enjoyed them all as I sat at one of the tables (one side is a long padded bench while the opposite side is chairs.) Pleasant pop music played in the background as I relaxed, enjoying my wine. This is a place you can get a meal including sandwiches and pizzas, but don't expect them in a hurry. I'll have to come back some time to give their food a try. Review #3470

After a long day of taking care of my newborn.. my friends and I just wanted to grab some wine. We walked In, the service was dry and the owners weren't really knowledgeable about the wines. I think I am so used to having a wonderful time at Cooper's hawk that my expectations are high?! Maybe not. We felt rushed to order off the menu... probably because the lady was making herself a sandwich ( I get it.. you have to eat) but we finally found something and I ordered the red flight. The wine was horrible... watery and not good. My friend ordered the white wine and it was strange tasting. She actually had to order another glass of wine and that wasn't any better. The cheese and crackers platter was the best but I could have done that at home. Normally I give 4 or 5 stars if you look at my reviews however I was dissatisfied at the taste of the wine. I have never wasted wine in my life. Sad day! Oh when my friend asked for another glass of wine, the lady said "what do you need" ......so rough and aggressive. She could have said "May I help you, Or are you okay" etc.

Just a cozy little shop that's a great spot for unique wines and spirits. I'm no connoisseur, I just know what I like. While that can be hard to pin down in a big box store, here the staff is super knowledgeable about their products and happy to help with making a perfect selection. I've found several gifts and more than a few special bottles for myself, too. While the focus is definitely on wines, you'll also find spirits as well. One of my favorite discoveries was a wine aged in bourbon barrels. It's also a secret spot for a sip and sample because they also have wines available by the glass plus flights and a small food menu with charcuterie and such. It's not often busy so I love sharing a drink with friends in a quiet corner booth. So fun!

When I had first visited and found out that they do wine bingo, I knew I had to come back. My bestie and I used to love going to Wine Market & Table for wine bingo, but after they closed a few years ago we never found anyone else who did it. Solely Wine has solved that! They have a nice selection of wines available by the glass, but they also have a much larger selection of wines, separated by type, that you can buy by the bottle (you can't grab them yourself off the shelf, a staff member has to do that) to open and drink there or take home. My friends and I each started out with just a glass of wine and then ended up buying some bottles to share while playing bingo since we were staying for a few hours and it was a better price point to share bottles. It can get expensive buying by the glass. They also have some snacks/appetizers available for purchase if you get hungry. The inside has lots of different seating options: cozy arm chairs and couches, large family-dinner-style tables, and smaller tables along the windows. They also have a beautiful patio! Towards the back they also have an art gallery and additional seating, although I don't think that space is always open. The bathroom is kept very clean and the staff are helpful and attentive. Can't wait to come back for another girls night.

I also love that they're connected to an art gallery, it really adds to the overall experience. I came here for a Yelp event and had an amazing time. Inside, the space is peaceful and inviting, with comfortable seating, games to play, and lots of natural light and live plants that create such a relaxing vibe. The owner was incredibly helpful. I wanted to try a wine flight, and she guided me through selecting options based on my preferences. The wine flight comes with four glasses and is about $24, which felt a little on the expensive side. They accept cards and also have a rewards system (which I definitely signed up for). There's a wide variety of wines, from dry to sweet, so there's something for everyone. I really enjoyed my flight. There was one red (Gamay) that wasn't my favorite since I tend to prefer sweet to semi-sweet wines, but I've been trying to expand my palate, which is why I love the option of flights. It also said it paired well with pizza, so maybe if I was eating that, it would be better. I enjoyed browsing their wine selection for purchase. I really admire how everything is well organized and easy to explore. They sell Stellar pretzels which I've had before and are so good, but solely had cinnamon dolce flavor that I never had before, neither had Kiara, so she bought some and I got to try the them (thank you Kiara!), they tasted just like a churro, so delicious, like a dessert! I can definitely see myself coming back here with friends or even just to enjoy the space and unwind. Such a great vibe overall.

It's a very small kitchen where all the action happens, which is very impressive for a restaurant their size. Very knowledgeable staff and servers described all the ingredients and notes of flavor to look for in the dishes very well. Most ingredients were locally sourced and staff highlighted the importance of souring fresh local ingredients with every dish. Everyone form the hostess to the bartender and bus boy were friendly and welcoming. definitely 5* for service. The menu is a mix of several cuisines from Korean to Italian and even some French with a twist. The menu has great vegetarian options. Unfortunately the chef's tasting menu wasn't available as my reservation was made same day, but I decided to go with the two specials of the day. Dinner kicked off with a shot of Champaign on the house They like welcoming their guests that way. Water kept being refilled immediately. The staff again was very attentive. As an appetizer I went with the Scallops crudo with house made berry vinegar. The crudo was a healthy serving of scallops. Crispy raw carrots and radish provide some texture, while greens including endive provided some bitterness. This dish was a bit heavy on pepper and bitterness from the endives and could use some acidity to balance it out. Scallops were not as sweet as I was expecting. A bit more of the homemade raspberry vinagrette would have been perfect. The dark blue ring caused by the marination process would have shown more on a different color serving plate instead of a black bowl. For the main course I ordered the Beet linguini with sea bass. Interesting take on linguini Pickled rhubarb, rainbow radishes, fresh dill and a 'beet marinara' sauce reminded me of borscht. Unfortunately the linguini was overcooked and soaked up a lot of the butter and sauce. The pickled rhubarb provided a break from the heaviness of the dish but overall the dish lacked brightness. Sea bass was perfectly cooked. Seared and crusted with salt and pepper on one side, simple. Well executed but nothing special. For dessert I went with the Strawberry dacquoise which was delicious. The white chocolate bark with pink peppercorn stole the show. It should be layered inside the dessert! I wanted more of it. This dessert was not overly sweet. it was a great mix of pistachios and strawberry and fluffy cake. Gelee was a bit too dense but otherwise fantastic end to a good meal.
