I'll definitely continue going back! Tip: They get busy on the weekend, so just be prepared that you may need to wait. I had the Lemon Pepper Shrimp special and I loved every bite, also had green beans and Mac & cheese, great choice for sure. Beans were not over salty and the Mac & cheese was the best I have had in a while. Not overly cheesy as some are. My wife had the spaghetti with meatballs two large homemade type. She loved it and I was fortunate to finish it off. She also had a salad with freshly made ranch dressing. The she had the sugar free butter pecan ice cream which was to die for. The two waitresses are the bomb so very attentive and helpful always giving great suggestions. If you are near this town drive the extra distance to come here. Well worth the drive. They also take reservations on Thursday and Friday. Can you imagine that a dinner taking reservations. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED COMING HERE

I visited on a weekday afternoon just before the high school up the street let out for the day. I ordered a hazelnut Irish crème latte cold from their March special menu that rivaled any drink from nationwide coffee shops. I didn't get to check the food menu much, but it looked extensive. And the hard served ice cream that a guest got while I was there looked amazing. I enjoyed my cold latte while doing some work. If you need a place to cool down or warm up with a coffee drink and get some work done then I think this place will serve you well. The ambience was comfortable, warm, friendly, and pleasant. I think there is a side room that could host a group. If you have kids they might enjoy the game table that lines the hallway by the bathrooms. On shelves in one of the corners and at the front of the shop where you order your food and drinks are brochures or other paraphernalia highlighting local businesses and services, community efforts, and monthly campaigns that will help you or someone you know find a resource or at least help promote service to others in your heart. I look forward to stopping in again soon.

Figured we'd give the Amish door a shot since AI generated this as a recommendation. It was $23 a person and another $4 for a coffee. The bill for 4 grownups with the buffet and 2 coffees was $108 on 7/11/26. The dinner buffet at 4pm was one 5 foot double sides buffet. The salad was the same. To put this in perspective, Yoders kitchen is 4 times that. The dessert options, with this paid full buffet dinner was graham cracker pudding or chocolate cookie pudding. The dinner options were breaded fried shrimp, chicken, meatballs, some sort of sausage or kielbasa and a shredded meat of some sort. That's it. That's it. I planned my mother in laws birthday out to the very last minute, to give her the best birthday celebration possible, and I felt so disappointed that this restaurant was so underwhelming.

It's a big restaurant off of a country road with plenty of parking. As of two weeks ago they were doing work on the highway that was kind of unpleasant with grated roads and lane closures but it looks like it will be done soon maybe.... Anyway, it's a large space with a gift shop and shabby chic decor that all appeared to be for sale since everything has a price tag on it even in the restaurant. The service was pleasant enough. The menu has fairly straightforward cafe like offerings of sandwiches and salads. I wanted something light so I opted for the cesar salad in spite of my reservations when it said tomatoes and olives were on it. Weird but whatever chicken, lettuce, croutons and cesar dressing still felt on brand so I went for it. This is not a cesar salad. It was a salad with balsamic dressing of some kind, toasted bread with the crust cut off and a cold chicken breast. And, it comes with bread but I was told they didn't have rye so I ended up with sourdough that was also not sourdough and the waitperson didn't bring it until I was mostly through eating my refrigerator cold chicken. Just, yikes. Additionally, I still don't know how there was rye for my sister's sandwich but I wasn't allowed to order it with my food. As for her lunch, the pastrami was fine but with a lackluster amount of meat. The French onion soup was the only thing that felt reasonable with quality and price. All in all, I think the snack bars or even grocery stores in the area/ Amish country appeared to have better offerings. I wouldn't recommend this place for lunch. The gift shop was cute and reasonably priced so maybe check it out for that but that's it.
