I laid face down and the lady (Susan, the receptionist) was taking doing my massage. She asked if I wanted medium or hard pressure; I pick medium. But I feel I should have ask for hard. After taking care of my back I was told to turn over. She did great works on my neck and shoulder. Hands and arms are good. My favorite was when she massage my feet. I felt most of knots were relieve. I get sore from running and the massages have helped greatly. My first visit, i booked with Nancy but she was not available so they switched to a male masseuse. I wasn't comfortable with a male masseuse especially because they only cover us with a thin sheet. They did provide a female masseuse afterall thankfully. My second time coming, I got a female masseuse. For some unknown reason, the male worker opened each room, including the room I'm in. He should knock first. It didn't feel like a "free" service or a quick little add-on at all -- it still felt luxurious, thoughtful, and like a full experience. There was essentially no pressure or real massage technique--my therapist mostly put oil on my back and rubbed in circles. Justin said he was experiencing basically the same thing with his massage. Then, halfway through our massages, we suddenly started hearing a man's voice in the room. We realized that my fiancés facefemale therapist had apparently been replaced by a male therapist. Nobody asked us, nobody told us, and nobody explained what was happening. We had specifically requested female therapists, so having Justin's therapist changed to a man without our knowledge or consent was incredibly uncomfortable. We were not given an explanation when we questioned it. I eventually became so upset that I got dressed and walked out. A manager came in, but we still did not receive a reasonable explanation for why this happened. This was supposed to be a relaxing birthday experience for my fiancé, and instead we left feeling uncomfortable, confused, and extremely disappointed. Staffing issues happen, but you communicate with your customers and ask before making a significant change to the service they specifically requested. Changing someone's therapist halfway through a massage without saying anything is not acceptable to us. I would not return.
