I booked a massage on-line for my minor child. Then I called the office to make sure they knew it was for a minor and were ok with me being in the room. I was assured it was fine. I showed up for my appointment (with the minor) and was told the therapist doesn't see minors. Why allow the booking or why not tell me when I called? Need much better management. read more

Massage Envy- Newnan, GA. FALES ADVERTISEMENT!! Do not waste your money on the gifts cards here! I had received a gift card for Christmas from my kids and I scheduled my first appointment the beginning of August but my kids school orientation was running over and I had to reschedule. I get that it was going to be a percentage of the cost cause the rescheduling was so late. but the first massage was supposed to be $80. DO NOT LISTEN to this advertisement, IT IS FALSE!!! it is the first booking not the first massage. I rebooked for a few days later, and went in for my massage, they were trying to charge me $130 for a 60 minute massage (nothing special and nothing added). they said the $80 is only for the first booking and I had to reschedule so now it is normal cost. I only had $60 on the gift card left because they took $40 when I had to reschedule. I couldn't pay the $70 additional dollars today plus a tip, do to buying school supplies and food. They took the remaining $60's on the gift card ($100 total) and I received no services. I was never told when rescheduling the cost would be more, as it was still my first massage! read more

First of all, manager Mhe is great and very customer service oriented. Secondly, Carolina gives a great massage. However, the "wear your mask while getting a relaxing massage" policy is stupid. But I did it. . I was instructed when you are face down you can just wear it over your mouth--which I did --when I turned over and tried to adjust it over my nose, the elastic came out. I still tried to adjust it but Carolina, was having none of it and stopped my 60 minute massage at 30 minutes. ‍. Then she LIED and told Mhe that I wasn't following the policy. Lies. Normally I do not do business with companies that get paid by bank autodrafts but I was told I could purchase a 6 month contract instead of a year. The contract that was emailed to me was for 12 months. Over a month went by with me calling every week before a new contract was created for the agreed upon 6 months. And it was dated for current month and I was told it could not be backdated to the original agreement date. I also paid $120.00 up front which I was led to believe was for a membership fee and the first installment. They are now saying the first payment was not part of the membership and did not apply toward my contract. The people at this location are nice and I have never had bad service however I am thinking it is the Company itself that encourages shady and underhanded sales practices and I will be contacting the home office. Do not trust what you are told. Make sure you read what you sign And sign at your own risk. read more

Update to my post, I still have not been contacted by the Manager, it's now been three weeks. I have also not gotten a call back from Corporate. I am beginning to believe this business is a scam. I was a member for 5 years. I decided to cancel my membership because they never had availability. I had 4 sessions left to use when I called back to schedule them they told me that I had forfeited my sessions because I had to schedule them within 50 days of the cancellation in which nobody ever to me that. They took money out of my account faithfully for 5 years and they would call or text every month to get something scheduled but when you cancel the membership they can't give you a courtesy call to let you know that your about to loose 4 90 minute session! read more

I signed a contract with the Newnan branch. I was told by local branch that my contract was over after the year was up. The Newnan branch continued to bill my card. They took $500 for which I recieved no service. They refused to return the money. This company has very deceptive billing practices. read more

Highlights: Friendly, helpful staff, clean, comfortable waiting areas and therapy rooms. I schedule monthly massage appointments 6 months at a time. Bought a membership for my daughter as well as myself. Busy schedules kept us from making every months session on time. However the massage therapists were good. They werent the problem. We moved and relocated to where we were atleast 45 min from any of their locations..which according to their contract that releases us from the membership. I called several times to tell them this. They informed me until I got "legal documents" to them they would continue to withdraw the money from our account. Well I just quit putting money in that account. One of the little chicks called squalking and flapping her wings and jumping up and down. After a few choice words I hung up on her. Couldnt find anyone to talk to with some sense. So right after the 1st of the year I send them a copy of our voter registration cards, a copy of our DL with our new address, and a letter from the power co showing our addy. They are still trying to pull the money.... and weeks after this they swore they had never received the info. So here we are now we had atleast 4 or more sessions each and they claimed they have all expired because our accounts had been "suspended" for non payment. But they received information and documentation that we had relocated. Bottom line... they have the money for approx 8 session from us and we got nothing but the run around. And we have no recourse. read more

Moved here from Indianapolis. Definitely weak customer service at this location in comparison to keystone at crossing - same as Chagrin in Ohio. (Scheduling and appointment movements were not an issue at all in Indy. This one rescheduled me due to staffing issues (obviously my appointment was inconvenient to THEIR schedule) and then when I missed my rescheduled appointment by not even a half hour on a 90 minute massage wanted to charge me an entire credit and an additional 20 dollars for the 90 minute upgrade). I am severely disappointed, especially since I enjoyed my experience with my massage therapist in Newnan. After two and a half years of membership I am cancelling due to massage envys outdated/one-sided cancellation policy . Shame! Time to find another service. read more

Never spend your money with this company! I was running late (completely on me), called before my appointment time and had to leave a message, asking if they wanted me to just come late or reschedule. They called back well into my appointment time and said well we'll charge you for the time anyway even though they waited to call me back. This was a gift to me from my children for my birthday. Things happen and I was running late due to dealing with our animals (sorry some things take precedence). The fact that I called well before my appointment time to let them know and they charged my sons card anyway! POOR SERVICE AND I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN NO MATTER WHERE I AM! Horrible customer service!! Signed up for a 12 month contract and paid all 12 months. The day after my contract ended they charged my credit card again. Called and told them I wanted to cancel and refund the current charge. They said "Sorry" and refused to refund the charge. I would highly recommend no one EVER sign a contract with this establishment. read more

To start off...I have been a member for a couple of years. I pay a membership fee per month. I had accumulated 5 extra hours to my credit, unused. I went to freeze my membership. This was to stop the payments so I could use my paid hours up. Found out that when I freeze my payments I cannot use my accrued hours. These are hours already paid for. I have to unfreeze the payments and start paying again in order to start using my credited time. Funny. Does not make sense to me. Well I canceled it altogether. Then I asked about giving some as a gift. I made the appointment several days ahead for my friend. I asked them what I owed. I owed 10 dollars to transfer it to her. I booked 90 minutes. I then asked them was that going to take care of the charges and I wanted to make sure she was not going to charged anything. She wanted to cover the tip. They said no sir everything was taken care of. Guess what? They called her the day before...did not call me within the time I booked it and told her that there was an additional 20 dollar fee for the extra 30 minutes or the last 30 minutes of the 90 minute session. She pays it and I found out. I called them and they told me I only paid for the transfer fee. I repeated what they told me at the time I booked it. No matter they said. I told them it was very funny they waited the day before to call her about the additional charge and told me everything was covered. Strange. At least I think it is unprofessional. I do not understand why everything was not upfront and why they waited several days to then charge the guest. I have extra time to use up. I do not really want to go back. I am going to let everyone know about this. I know this is not right and they were not right in this. I am a firm believer in in doing what is right. We are a military family and believe in honor and honesty. read more
