My therapist was very knowledgable first time I went in. I felt comfortable that I bought the membership. (I suffer from headaches/migraines, I see a neurologist, hoping massage will help also) I scheduled my second appointment. Unfortunately, they called me today and told me that my regular therapist was not going to be available for me and they only had a male therapist. I called back to cancel and said I've been really stressed this week, and I was really look forward to this appointment. They put me on hold and said they will have someone,female, come in for me at same time as original appointment. I hope this therapist is as good as my first one. I scheduled a last minute massage session almost 2 years after receiving a gift card for here. I lead a busy life and don't make time for self-care often enough. Malcolm was my therapist and let me tell you, he was amazing. Very intuitive to my needs and to the problem areas I have. I highly recommend Malcolm if you're looking for a new therapist or if you're new to getting massaged. The receptionist Ashley here is the very best! She was so kind to me to fix a mix up for me. I accidentally booked at a different location (Van Buren) and they wanted to charge me for the cancellation when I showed up at the wrong one. This is my 2nd time at this location. 1st time had a full body massage with Lyndsey and it was amazing! They really know what they're doing! Got all the knots out of my back. Today, I got my 1st facial ever and I must say Jessica was exceptional! If it wasn't for the monthly membership fee being so high I would've definitely signed up! The staff is so nice and friendly they really walk you through everything before they start so you know what to expect. I have never gotten a massage before and my experience at this location was amazing. From the moment I walked in, the front desk associates greeted me immediately and got me checked in swiftly and allowed me to relax before my appointment with Calli, and then another time with Malcolm. Absolutely professional at every angle and the place was spotless and an overall great feel. Massage therapists did amazing with what I wanted as far as pressure and areas of pain and left me feeling like I was back in High School again. This is the place to go!!! read more

The only negative reviews I could find on this place was that massage envy is membership based and that they try to sell hard.. I planned on signing up for a membership anyways, but I can see where the frustrations would be for a first time person who only wants a single massage, but that's not the staffs fault, it's how the chain is.. I have been to this location for my massages numerous times but never had a set therapist. After tonight I will never book a random therapist again because my massage therapist, Malcom, was incredible. We focused on upper body tonight and he worked out every little kink. He not only massages you but he tells you why you might have a specific knot or where your tension is coming from. I highly recommend Malcom as a massage therapist. I've had nothing but pleasant experiences! Everyone greets me with a smile, Carla & Ashley responded quickly to any problems I had. All the therapist are amazing! Alone with the facial ladies as well! It's so hard to cancel just because I love pampering myself:) I say it's worth it! I am hoping that they will honor this review I will update you after my visit today :) My original post stated that we liked the Riverside location a lot better than the Menifee one.
