I came in to get my very first massage ever with my mom and was in the "couple room" the lighting was so relaxing. The girls working the front desk were super friendly. Finally my mom and I were taking back to our room. You can strip down to your liking. Tiera was my therapist and Nario was with my mom. Tiera was excellent. The pressure hurt so good lol. I had a lot of knots from stress. My mom enjoyed her massage as well. I felt great when I walked out but now I'm feeling a bit sore on my shoulders. So idk if that's normal or not? read more

I've been to this Massage Envy location twice -- once a year or so ago and again just recently. I saw a different therapist each time. Each time the therapist ignored very basic and straightforward requests. The first time I think I asked for a focus on my tight hamstrings, but that therapist didn't touch the muscle at all. More recently, I asked for a focus on a few problem areas. The therapist did a good job working out some knots in my upper back, and she did a good job working out plantar fascia adhesions in the arches of my feet. However, the therapist ignored what I had stressed before the start of the session as a serious problem area I wanted her to focus on (my right hip flexor). I even had that area listed as a priority on a paper with the problem areas specified, which I provided to her. The therapist didn't massage the hip flexor at all, nor did she work anywhere in the general area. Massage Envy therapists at this location are friendly and are adept at certain aspects of massage, but they need to do a much better job listening and responding to the specific (and clearly specified) requests/needs of clients. read more

I've been seeing Lindsay for deep tissue massages for a couple months now. She really gets into the issues with my shoulders/back/neck. I do leave a little sore (which is to be expected), and she tells me to ice (which I never do) but I always feel great right after the massage, and even better the day after. Tremaine at the front desk is also great. The only negative I can think of is that the "quiet" room is often not very quiet. Other people in there will be using their phones (with the sound on) and/or having loud conversations. I understand that this is beyond the control of the staff, but it should be noted. read more

I've gotten many massages before, at much more pricey places, so I wasn't sure how this experience would be. I came in because personal and professional stress have been building up and I could feel it in my body. When I called, Laura was wonderful and set me up with a fantastic therapist - perfect for what I needed. Vanessa gave me an absolutely fantastic massage, and a week later, I still feel worlds better than I did before. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Went in today for a prenatal massage with a friend for massages that we had booked over a week ago. When I called to schedule they told me that we would have female therapists in separate rooms. So today we got there 15 minutes prior to our appointment times, filled out all of our paperwork, and waited for our massage. Then they go to call us back and tell us that we will have one male and one female therapist and it will be in one room. I asked to have the male switched with a female and they said that they didn't have any females available. So we asked to speak with a manager who proceeded to tell us that because we wouldn't be getting the service done that we would be charged a cancellation fee to "cover the therapist" even though it was their mistake. They were totally unwilling to do anything to fix their mistake. The manager that called us once we left told us that originally we were booked with females but that that therapist no longer works there so they just replaced her with any other one available and that she would "make an exception and waive the fee this time but not to expect it again". We won't need the fee ever waived again because we will never come back. Totally disappointed read more

Fuken rip off place. Our friends bought my fiancé and I a couples massage as a gift. My fiancé booked it 7 weeks ago for my birthday which is tomorrow. Yesterday they call to confirm with us and we acknowledged the appointment. No lie, at 8:39pm tonight they call and tell us that the gift booking wasn't valid. Supposedly the store manager called to inform us. This skank ruined the only gift I had for my birthday. Next time check your sshit in advance and when confirming a the appointment, maybe you can reference the clients info and maybe inform them at that time instead of the night before a 10am time slot. No place will take us in for a massage on a Saturday with no appointment unless it's a rub-n-tug joint. Aside from that, I doubt the quality of a budget club massage that massage envy produces compared to a real spa massage. I'll never book a session nor recommend this store or for that matter any store of theirs to a friend. Thanks for screwing up my birthday, I'll never forget or forgive you for this! read more

so I don't mean to be a "mean girl" in this post but I just had to post this review... ok...so I gave a 3 star review because of the 4 times I've been there...2 were pretty good, 1 was okay and the other one well...I'll get to that later in this review if you are still interested in what I have to say. Actually I really liked the therapist Alexis...she had awesome pressure and I truly enjoyed my session with her...okay so moving on... the okay girl just liked to talk. I'm all for talking and she was nice but typically I like to enjoy my massage and not talk during my session. I thought closing my eyes and having close ended answers would give the hint that I would like to just keep quiet for the rest of the sesh but apparently, she didn't quite get the hint. the other girl. she was nice but...she had this tremor...its not her fault of course...it was just not my cup of tea...but if you like those vibrating massage chairs, she is definitely the therapist for you. Also, her pressure was quite light...and I originally was tripping out thinking that I was the one with the tremors till I realized it was the therapist. I honestly thought I was going to break her and I'm not a big gal...I would think I'm an easy client to massage. Anyways, one more gripe. I'm okay with massaging from head to toe...but maybe it's the germaphobe in me or the massage snob I've become since I've had quite a few massages...I would typically like my face and scalp massaged PRIOR to my feet massage...I do take baths everyday but after an 8 hour work grind...ya...face and scalp PRIOR to the foot massage please...I thought that was just done...but apparently not. made an appointment tuesday for friday for myself and a guest, they had me call location where i signed up so that the hour can be given to my guest at the location i wanted us to visit. after calling back the location i wanted to visit, i was told she was not on schedule., i explained that it was just tuesday of the same week,. i made the appt. and after agreeing to call the membership location., they said they were holding both our spots for the appt. after being put on hold, young lady comes back, with attitude,. says "ok whats her name., spell it" ...no hey thank you for holding or sorry about the hold or confusion., and can i please have you spell first and last name,. the girl was clearly upset, for what reason ? i asked to speak to her manager someone with a little less attitude., her manager came on the phone and was just as bad., useless, i paid alot of money for this membership,. which should include good customer service, very disappointed glad i didn't renew my membership. girls go get some customer service lessons.,learn to be polite., you bozos read more

Horrible experience with management. Ariana (assistant manager) is the worst and has no integrity. If she promises you anything, make sure that you get it in writing. I've tried canceling my membership multiple times due to medical issues. At first she says she can cancel for me. Then she says she can't. She said she can only temporarily freeze it. They froze it for a short period of time but continue to charge monthly. Still had the medical issue and unable to use. Was charged monthly.... Sometimes twice a month for a membership I couldn't use. Towards the end of my year membership, Ariana promised my card would be no longer charged because my contract was coming to an end. My contract ended and I still got charged... but this time almost $10+ more ($70)!!! I called Ariana who is the one who promised me my card would no longer be charged. She said that I had to fill out paperwork first and I couldn't not receive a refund. I filled out the paperwork and emailed it to them so I could at least stop getting charged. 3 weeks later my card is charged AGAIN. They charged my card TWICE in July when I was not under contract with them... when I've repeatedly expressed not wanting the services anymore. This second time Ariana claims to never have received my email with the cancellation document. I send it again! She confirms receiving it this last time but again says I will not be refunded my $70 and that I have 60 days to use any credits I have on my account before they're all lost. Now I'm forced to rush and get all of these services within a short period of time because they refused to refund me. It was not relaxing at all. It was actually a very stressful experience. Stay away. Soooo unethical, rude, and unconcerned with clients health, and well-being! Get ANYTHING promised in writing!!! read more
