I don't know why other people are saying bad things about the front desk staff, they were all very sweet and polite. The massage therapist I saw, Justin, was absolutely AMAZING! Absolutely the worst run Business I have ever had the misfortune of having to deal with. The concept of a monthly massage and/or facial is appealing for this working mom. Demanding responsibilities tend to stress us out so in an effort to "balance" and treat myself I signed up for a membership over a year ago. During that time I have had my pre-booked appointment cancelled the very same day due to therapist calling out sick. Look I get it....people get sick...things happen. But 3 times in 12 months I'm the unlucky one? My suggestion would be for this business to have a back up plan because if I were to cancel the same day I would be charged the full amount and still lose my appointment. As if that were not bad enough my husband booked on Tuesday of this week as a surprise a facial and a massage for the both of us and when we get there they don't have us down. Friends I can not make this stuff up. Evidently they booked my husbands under the wrong name and when they called to confirm his appointment the guy they called said he didn't have an appointment OBVIOUSLY!! So ME cancelled my appointment too. Unbelievable. When my husband told them just to cancel our memberships the clearly untrained employee that lacks complete common sense and problem solving skills simply says "ok" I can't even with this place. Massage Envy is the place where I can go and feel like my physical needs are always met. Rachel is the most amazing technician/masseuse there, and what she does every single time, if I'm in pain or not, she just relieves all tension and releases all the stress. And the ladies in the front who check me in, are always so professional, and friendly. They make it all the more enjoyable, which is why I look forward to my next appointment all the time! read more

I have rarely gotten anything above a mediocre massage here. Also, an hour massage will only last about 40 minutes- they give you 10 minutes to undress at the beginning of the massage and 10 minutes to get dressed at the end & that's factored into your hour. read more

I booked my reservation to there website 3days ago and now it is my day to come then all of the sudden they are saying you did not book, i have a confirmation on my email but they said it didnt get thru, so dont waste your time booking online for this location, this is our anniversary and now they ruined it. read more

The desk staff and therapists at this location are nice people, no complaints there. However I do have huge issues with their membership policies. Given the fact that I've got a town Kasian that has no massage envy I did not update my credit card info since I already had prepaid services stacked up. When I went in and tried use the last hour and a half of services that I had already paid for........I was told that I could not use my prepaid services unless I paid them for another month. The therapists here are good! The problem is management!! The management turnover is constant. The staff knows nothing about customer service and doesn't care to know. They have rules and regulations and have no common sense or customer service in implementing them. I have been a member since it opened here in Rockwall. My husband and I have weekly standing appointments. They give us no more consideration than a one time visitor. They cancel my appointment an hour before I am to come and say sorry, it can't be helped. This was after they had changed it once already due to my therapist being ill. They offer to split up our weekly couples massage and have us come at different times. They harassed us about giving my daughter a massage on my credit card. They stated that to book it in her name, they need her credit card. I explained I am paying for it but said they can't use the card on file, they need another one. I find that hard to believe. This location isn't that great. The staff is very chatty with each other, the pressure requested was not given, and although we told person we booked the massages with that we are members- we were pressured to join when we got there. Months later I went to purchase a gift card, selected a particular one (it's Christmas, we're all particular) and the cashier proceeded to pull one out of a drawer, activate it all without looking at me. read more

I bought a 6 session contract with gift cards from 3 family members. Today was suppose to to have my last session. I ended up having to pay $117. After my last massage, I made this appt. a week or so later I received an email saying my membership ended June 18 and if I didn't cancel it My charge card would be charged every month. So I called to cancel it but asked about my appt. for today since it was 3 days after the cancellation date. I was assured today's massage would be covered except for the extra 1/2 hr and the foot scrub which is $25. When I have had 1 1/2 hr massages I have always paid cash for the extra half hour. Today I was told that since I cancelled my membership as directed this one is not covered and I had to pay a non-membership rate. Reading some of the past reviews, I am not the only one to be cheated out money at this place. I am on social security but still have to work part time to make ends meet so I know where every penny goes in our budget. I would not throw away a massage. read more

This location is under new ownership. I have been a member with this location since they opened. After 8 years or so I will be closing my account here with them and looking elsewhere. Like I stated the location is under new ownership and man do these guys not know how to run a business in a small community. They have ran out great therapist and great front desk staff. This new manager( this is the second one in the few months they've taken over ownership) she is by far the rudest and laziest individual I have ever encountered in a business. I understand a business is there to make money but when the entire staff lacks professionalism, you are screwed. No one knows how to do their job and they just pass off everything to someone else until finally your concern is just tossed into the wind. Multiple masseuses have told me that the whole new management is lazy and has zero concern for their employees or patrons of the business. I saw Keith for the first time today. He was amazing and worked my knots out. Deep tissue is hard to find and he was beyond awesome. I had an eye opening experience. This location tops any other that I have been to by far!! Its clean, inviting, and gorgeous! They recently upgraded and it was well worth it. The girls at the front are sweet and friendly, I have been coming here 4 years and have NEVER had an issue with them (regardless of what others below say). I strongly recommend that you not pay for a membership here. They take your money and then if you don't use your massages by a certain date, it "expires" and you can't use it. They will take your money and not provide the service that you paid for. In my book that's called stealing. There is a class action lawsuit against them for this reason. The facility is nice and I received good massages from several different massage therapists. You pay for an hour, but you actually only receive about a 45 minute massage because they subtract about 5-10 minutes to get dressed and undressed. read more
